Politics › Re: The Coward Called SIMP Fubara. You Have Power but Powerless by Georgry(m): 4:30pm On Jan 01 |
Validated: What did I just read, that Wike is threatening to publish an agreement 🤝 reached with Fubara for peace. What gave him that audacity to challenge a sitting governor armed with credible evidence of the looting of Rivers under his government, except that Fubara is a COWARD, who dies many times before his real death.
If I was the Accountant-General of a state, I should have credible information that would hold my principal in checks. If i have such information and I have the power of a governor, my former principal will be at my Beck and call. If after all these opportunities, I am still being harassed by a former governor, I am a "coward of the county". Let's bring it home, as Chief Executive Governor, Fubara has access to credible evidences of stolen Commonwealth of Rivers State people. For such a person, you have to put the individual in checks.
First, institute a probe of all financial activities from 2015 to 2023. Publish a white paper on it and have it Gazetted with all stolen monies, assets, etc and commence court cases to retrieve them one by one from the thieves.
Secondly, begin marking properties that were obtained without due process for demolition. Use your official power as governor to coerce councillors to impeach any errant LGA chairman. Tell me any councilor or chairman who does not have skeletons in his cupboard.
Push to remove any Chief Justice not in governor's side. First institute audit of all judicial expenses under the CJ. Call him to government house to explain all frauds in the judiciary. If he or she is not ready to play ball, send him/her file to EFCC.,with your current position as an APC governor. Once you have the CJ on your side, the Assembly can go to hell.
@Fubara wake up and fight. Stop composing music. Use your power sir! You're a political nonentity, Wike is probably one of the top 5 most powerful politician in Nigeria today, if you think you can take him head on with all his federal might then you must be joking. |

lionphil: Have you seen a petrol tanker spill fuel before? Let me give you two instances... It happened at Otedola bridge in LAGOS. It also happened at Eleme in Rivers State. On both occasions, spilled fuel runs down and burns cars along its path. It doesn't explode at different places without having a chain trail of destruction along its path.
If you lack wisdom seek it and stop displaying ignorance. You don't have sense, I'm in Auchi, the explosion was caught on video, a 75,000 litre fuel tanker exploded after spilling fuel for hours, also considering the fact that there is pipeline in those area, what else do you expect? |

Racoon: Tinubu fears the northern interest than any other thing. This is why his government has been dilly dallying about bandits, fulani jihadists and BH terrorists even rehabilitating them as repentant and deradicalised terrorists.
No state of emergency in any northern states even with all these scary insecurity situation but Rivers deserves one. If Peter Obi becomes president let him rule as if the North doesn't exist and see what happens after 4 years, in all of recent Nigerian presidents only Tinubu has been able to stand up to the north albeit respectfully, i know you love playing politics of hate but you should use your head sometimes. |

Politics › BREAKING: Tinubu Orders Withdrawal Of Police Officers Guarding Vips by Georgry(op): 9:02pm On Nov 23, 2025 |
President Bola Tinubu has ordered the withdrawal of police personnel from VIP security duties. The President gave the order during a security meeting with service chiefs including the Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Waidi Shaibu; the Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Sunday Kelvin Aneke; the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun; and the Director-General of the Department of State Services, Tosin Adeola Ajayi. The meeting comes on the heels of the waves of abduction and security threats across the country. President Tinubu directed that henceforth, police authorities will deploy their personnel to concentrate on their core police duties. According to him, VIPs who want police protection will now request well-armed personnel from the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps. A statement by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, shortly after the meeting notes that many parts of Nigeria, especially remote areas, have few policemen at the stations, thus making the task of protecting and defending the people difficult. “In view of the current security challenges facing the country, President Tinubu is desirous of boosting police presence in all communities. “Already, President Tinubu has approved the recruitment of 30,000 additional police officers. The federal government is also collaborating with the states to upgrade police training facilities nationwide,” he said. Didijiji: How can you compare Buhari and Tinubu?
OKay let’s even compare commodity prices
Who is better? You guys lack basic economic knowledge, Bag of Rice was sold for less than 10,000 before Buhari and same 50 kg bag of rice sold for about 40,000 when Buhari left, that's about 400 percent increase, today same rice is sold for about 60,000 that's about 50 percent increase, so which other commodity price do you want us to evaluate? |

Civil service job is probably the worst job to do in Nigeria unless you're too scared to try other things out or you lack ambition, according to the governor, people were being owed pension in 2012 but the said pension has now been payed in 2025 in Flagrant disregard for the time value of money.. Any civil servant being owed 1 million naira in 2012 was entitled to about 6200 dollars, a life saving amount as at that time.. That same civil servant today will get less than 700 dollar today, a whooping 850 percent loss in value, that's only if the person is still alive to receive the disgrace of a pension being offered. Ps.. I'm not putting the blame on the governor, I'm just trying to point out why anybody who have any type of ambition as a Youth should avoid civil service job, this sector should be left for those who doesn't know what to do with their lives. |

Politics › Re: If You Know How Retired Generals Captured Naija Economy You Will Thank Rawlings by Georgry(m): 3:36pm On Nov 16, 2025 |
laiperi: The Lieutenant Yerima incident reminded us that Nigeria is still deeply gripped in the mentality of Military rule superiority over Civilian administration. The same mentality which the Army assumes to derogate the polity as “bloody civilians”. The Army thinks they are still in charge of the country and every civilian rule must be at their command, wish and caprices. We see the Military in places they have no business, used to intimidate and enforce their will.
Indeed, retired Generals constitute themselves into a shadow government that exercises their culture of corruption by grabbing the most lucrative sector of the economy. As much as Civilian Administrations try to get hold of how much mineral resources are leaving the country, no one dares challenge them. It is part of the daily News that Generals are controlling the underground economy that should have been normal income of any sane country.
Generals are at liberty to grab precious land, properties and share businesses they desire, no question asked. Lt. Yerima, a young man at the initial stage of his career, is not the problem. He is only following the established culture of corruption ordered by the retired general that was put in place right from the time Ibrahim Babangida overthrew Buhari.
Nigeria must remember that it was this same Babangida celebrating the culture of corruption with his book launch about how Nigeria was saved by the Military. He accepted Structural Adjustment rejected by Buhari. It was the coffin that nailed the Middle Class in Nigeria. We have never recovered and the Depreciation of Naira continues since then.
Nigerians are not blind and not all of us are gullible cheering and welcoming Military men indiscretions every time. The fact that we see Nigerians cheering Lt. Yerima, though not new, does not mean the majority of Nigerians are not watching in disgust. This is a country the whole world recognizes for their intellect but fails to use it to better themselves at home. How can they cheer the Military that uses guns to terrorize their people into submission?
Source Nigerian politicians like Wike are the one in charge of Nigeria purse, the military can only steal what they are allocated, they can't steal more than the politicians, so what are you ranting about? |
