onyxo76:You definitely don't have a car or run generator that much, to fill up a Toyota camry of 70 litres for 1020 is 71,400 while at 935 is 65, 450, that's about 6k difference. |

![]() Lp from top to buttom, one of the most useless theme I've ever heard in my life, how can you vote a candidate just because he's Lp?
|
![]() |
![]() When you guys were shouting LP top to bottom i knew you guys will surely regret it, if you're voting someone on the sole bases of being a Labour Party member then you need to get your head checked, unless you're being paid to support a political party in Nigeria, you should be smart enough to know that in a general election, you can vote LP for presidential, PDP for Senate and APC for house of REP depending on your choice of candidate, supporting a political candidate in Nigeria by default because you belong to their political party should be one of the most stupid thing to do with your life as a Nigerian. |
lexy2014:You're constituting nuisance on this forum with your type of opposition, sometimes just shut up and wait for the next opportunity to criticise instead of making yourself look like a fool. |
So it was really Emefiele? |
Typing:You're too inconsequential in the affairs and running of Nigeria to declare that. |
.. |
Typing:The problem with some of you is that you understand nothing about how the economy works, let me give you the number involved. Alcohol industry in Nigeria is valued at 2.5 trillion in sales according to Statista. Nigerians spent the equivalent of 13.3 percent of the annual budget on alcohol. 75 percent of the total of the tax generated from this 2.5 trillion sales is generated from the south. The remaining 25 percent is generated from the 19 northern state mostly in the North Central. What they specialise on in the north is destroying the alcohol beverages that makes it way into their region.. When you hear alcohol what you think is one Mr Ojo who sit in a joint and enjoy his paraga, what this politician sees is the Huge vat generated from the 2.5 trillion alcohol market.

An analyst of your calibre shouldn't stoop so low to this level , this is how a secondary school dropout will argue a bill that is significant enough to alter the future of how business is conducted in the country, a bill that is going to alter the VAT sharing formula in such a way that henceforth if nobody can drink alcohol in your state then you will have zero revenue from the sales of alcohol in other state.. Infact, this legislation is capable of making the Northern governor lift the suspension of alcohol in the future because this will be a reality check for them. Someone like you should be arguing and criticising the merit of the bills so that some of us who look up to you can learn more, everything is politics to you guys. |
Artscollection:You and so many people here are sounding so dumb, the part of the bill that is causing controversy is not related to Paye or Company tax, it is the Value added tax which will now base exclusively on consumption so the more you consume the more you get, for example Dangote Cement in Kogi State currently pay their company income tax to Nigeria, the staffs will pay their Paye to the Kogi State government while the Vat will be paid to Lagos because they have their headquarters there, if this bill is passed the company tax and paye remains the same but for vat, they will have to track which state each shipment is going to and pay the tax to the state, that also goes for each and every biscuit produced by Yale and each and every Alcohol produced from Ogun state, the Vat on any Wine you drink will now be remitted to your state of residence which means the North will get zero naira vat from Alcohol business, sound fair to me. |
This man sound so intelligent. |

![]() Just like Mr Atiku, Mr Obi have decided to sit on the fence on a very critical matter, I wonder if they even have the ball to push such bill in the first place. |

![]() You wrote an international article detailing your investigation on how someone was denied a role because someone else was having sex with someone else, this article is meant for the consumption of millions of people on the Internet but you forgot to point out that this person that you claim was cheated was your wife, this single detail that was deliberately omitted points to conflict of interest and render the whole article useless, it also says something about Mr David's integrity and character. |
sonofsteven:You obviously know nothing about law, there is something called jurisdiction, if the court has the jurisdiction to hear the case no riff-raff or rabble-rouser like you can do anything about it, if David doesn't appeal that Judgement, the claimant will simply obtain a garnishee order and get all his asset in the UK confiscated until he settles his debt, it they could do it to Nigeria government then you guys are too small. |
yoruboid:Drop within the next 3 months when christmas, new year festival and every other things dey front? |
HgAkpobomeEr:Go and keep him quiet you agent of fascism. |
![]() In all of these, they still haven't shown us what the citizens has been able to gain from these policies, the poor citizens are left to suffer all the hardship so that more money can be available for the government to spend and loot, we've had no better road, or more stable electricity or access to better health care, just a suffer head, God dey sha. |
