Price of goods and services has been increasing exponentially since APC took over, i remember when I ddy fill gas 5kg for 1500 not quite long ago, omoh!

However was price of beer 150 when Obj took over in 1999? Did price of Garri stay constant from 1999 till 2015 that APC took over? Definitely not, inflation go always happen but APC government no just get sense with their own.

Is not true. Anyone supporting Peter Obi automatically becomes Igbo by the Yoruba tribe making me wonder of the Oduduwa were afraid of the Igbos

While anyone supporting Tinubu or opposing Peter Obi is automatically tagged as Yoruba, these things happen on both sides.

grin grin APC man

Don't be a fool, check my history here, I campaigned for Obaseki on this forum because of how Oshiomole was going to turn himself into a God father, I support candidates and not parties, as far as Edo state is concerned, 9 out of 10 people will pick Oshiomole over Obaseki any day in terms of performance, for the next election I am yet to decide who to vote for.

Jostoman:
i guess the place was not there when Oshiomole was governor for 8years?

Oshiomole tried his best in terms of road and erosion control, heck, the whole of Auchi was nearly swallowed by gully erosion until Oshiomole stepped in, that is still the main reason he's revered in Edo north till today, he constructed all the existing roads including the Akpepe road that is used for Akpepe race yearly, it's been 8 years of Obaseki, if he did half of what Oshiomole did in terms of road then Edo state would have become a better place, so take your APC vs PDP shit somewhere else, there is no government presence in the whole of Auchi as a whole in the last 8 years, and Auchi is the second urbanised town in Edo state after Benin.

No bad road in Lagos or Ogun state, Na only in Edo bad road dey.

Shut the fvck up you dumb shit, call anybody you know in Edo state and ask, a state of emergency should be declared in Edo state on bad road and lack of proper channel for Erosion, after this morning's rainfall (coincidentally after I made that comment) all over Edo state the state is already flooded, and this is the beginning of the raining season, Benin, Auchi, Ekpoma everywhere is already flooded, who are you to politicalise our plight when you don't even know what we are going through?

Take your dumb APC vs Pdp vs shit out of here and allow people that is actually suffering talk, don't be an idiot, since morning I no fit drive commot for house because say small rain fall but you dey here dey talk nonsense, come Auchi abi Ekpoma come talk this nonsense make men enter you.

I must have mentioned some few names but the ones from the obedient side is also crazy.. They don't learn from their PO to master how to ignore them. Rather they join and spill more venom into the platform.

The tribalism on this forum is between the Igbos and the Yorubas, the other tribe are less vocal on the internet, but you have no right to complain because you keep using the word "They" which is highly subjective, this makes you exactly what you are complaining about, I joined this forum in 2013 or so, I've been visiting since 2011, as far back as 2011 when Jonathan was president there was tribalism then, and it was champion by the Igbos, see below thread.

https://www.nairaland.com/745731/yoruba-marginalization-elders-met-jonathan

After Buhari took over in 2015 it escalated, who are the main victims? The Hausa/Fulani.

2023 election made everything worse, ever since then, it's been equal dose of tribalism from each side, but the main problem is that the Igbos cries the loudest about Victimisation when in reality both tribe are guilty of tribalism in this forum including you.

Politics / Re: Popular Obi Supporter Questions The Benefit Of 3rd Mainland Bridge by Georgry(m): 1:00am On May 01
Arrogance is a disease, basic knowledge of economics will tell you that there are different types of government expenditure, there are expenditures that the government are not expecting to directly benefit from which you are suggesting.

To your question, the importance of that bridge cannot be overemphasised, it reduces the number of car or canoe accident that would have been happening always without that bridge because of the large number of people that use that route daily, that's health benefit..

It also improve transportation efficiency. It ensure smooth transit of goods and services thereby Ifacilitating trade because it reduces the number of hours that you are supposed to use to move your goods and services without that bridge, it also makes the movement of goods and services easier and smother.

That's just 2 importance of that bridge, I studied finance and banking, I can even right a project about the economy benefit of that bridge in Nigeria and I'm going to score an A.

Foreign Affairs / Group Urges Supreme Court To Reverse Mali’s Junta Ban On Political Activities by Georgry(m): 11:35am On Apr 23
A group of political parties and civil society organisations in Mali on Monday appealed to the country’s Supreme Court to overturn the ruling junta’s order on suspension of political activities.

The West African country has been under military rule since a coup occurred in 2020.

Tensions rose in recent weeks over the authorities’ failure to organise promised elections and their subsequent decree limiting political life in the name of maintaining public order.
The allied political and civil society groups noted in a statement that it opposed the April 10 order, saying they had turned to Mali’s top court “intending to annul the decree which they consider tyrannical and oppressive.’’

It was not immediately clear when the court might consider the appeal.

Mali’s current junta seized power in a second coup in 2021 and later promised to restore civilian rule by March 2024 following elections in February of this year.

However, the authorities said last September they would indefinitely postpone the February elections for technical reasons, deepening concerns about democratic backsliding in West and Central Africa, where there have been eight coups over the past four years.

“We are witnessing the restriction of civic space and an attempt to seize power,” said Drissa Traore, Secretary-General of the International Federation for Human Rights.

With the decree, “the Malian authorities are once again confirming their desire to stifle any dissenting voice and to lead Mali into an unprecedented dictatorial regime,” he said in a statement on Friday.

Let's watch how the psychopaths obidients reacts to this, just last week they were happy that Abure won a national convention where there was no ward, local government or state election. If any other party tries this the kind of backlash they would get would be too monstrous, but it's the Labour Party and they are all saints.. They even said Tinubu is using NLC to destabilise Abure lead Lp...

Fast forward to a few days later, Obi just disown the sham of an election and rightfully so.

The hypocritical obedient are just gonna switch side and opinion, they would just say Tinubu is using Abure to stop Peter Obi from becoming the president..

These psychopathic and hypocritical idiology is why I will never take the Obidient movement serious.

And what makes you think they've not use lots of money to peg the dollar right now? The excuse they gave as a reason for the increase in dollar was that we aren't producing anything for exports so have we started producing anything all of a sudden?

If Nigeria becomes better today are they going to chase away those people they presume to be wishing Nigeria bad? Let them continue focusing on the job they are assigned to do and stop looking around for those wishing them good or bad.

We are not producing anything because just a fraction of the country is productive, also the basic amenities and infrastructure needed to aid productivity like ease of access to capital, electricity, security and the rest have not been made available by the Government, that is the real problem.

however irrespective of this constraints, a lot of Young people are still thriving, Facebook has just announced that Nigerian can monitise their account very soon, PAYMENT would probably be in dollar just like other Giant companies, the Internet has created variety of ways to be productive, the content creators, yahoo boys (illegal) and the rest.

So you see? We are not completely useless, when the Naira was floated, it was expected to find it's real value, which should not be more than 1000 in my opinion (again because we are not completely useless in terms of productivity) that was when the saboteur and greedy people sets in, they wanted to sabotage the economy, and inflict pain on the citizens of Nigeria while making a lot of money from him, this people include the illegal bdc, wicked politians that were doing it for their selfish gain, and a part of the country whose only intention and prayer is to see the country fail.

Tinubu has fought so these people so hard for the currency to have returned to this stage, we are not that useless for the dollar to have traded at 1900 in the first place.

They want Nigeria to fail.

When the Naira was going down they kept shouting Tinubu, when it went up they said it's Artificial because we are not productive enough and we have nothing to export, why didn't you guys say this when the Naira was going down?

Some want the Naira to go back to 400, Financial morons, the CBN was using a lot of money to peg dollar at that price, it wasn't making sense anymore because you can't continue to subsidise the dollar, you know the worst part? All the people importing were not even getting it at the official price, it was the black market that they get the dollar to import and sell for me and you, so who are the people getting the subsidised dollar? Your big men and politicians, they can easily get 1m dollars from the CBN for 400 million naira and sell it in the black market for 700 million, that's 300 million profit without breaking a sweat.

Should Tinubu continue this way? Never!
