I don't think trading forex as a student in the UK is illegal, is as if asking buying shares and stocks whether it's illegal. Why you where given 20 hours weekly was for you to be able to have time for your studies. Talking about your question, buying and selling of currency pairs in your room won't be illegal bro.

makforex: @geralds, u have said well but remember chuks can not be successful with just ur thought alone but just stepping stone. He needs an experience forex mentor to guilde him if he doesn't want to lose his money one million times!having said forex is not a get rich scheme but investment, i agree with u, but once u understand how it works and have a good indicator, experience, uninterrupted power supply,good laptop and reliable internet.then u a on ur way to good returns in forex market.

First of all, you don't have to guide him with the mindset of making millions daily, you have to tell him the truth that this business is as hot as hell fire and can take someone to an early grave if care is not taking. It takes heart of a man to be successful in this field. He needs a mentor but personal training is very vital. Money management is the Holy Grail in this field, if you wanna hit it quick you lose it quick.

Most of the time I was with Instaforex it was stories cos I use more of pending order, so they trigger my trade without the price breaking through where I placed my orders and its always obvious. They will always say it's a technical error yet they wouldn't pay back what was removed from my account. I guess my name rings a bell to all the Instaforex customer care representatives. Be careful with these people!

Seriously, I had alot of issues with Instaforex and I also lost many trades just by using pending orders, not because I was wrong. Sometime my pending order was not triggered base on the price movement on the chart but the trade will pick, talking to them about the error they would always say it's technical error and at the end my money wasn't returned. All brokers have issues but I prefer ECN brokers or STP brokers to Market Makers. They are kinda good and professional in their dealings. Make a review on them, Google is your friend.

He is right but trading EJ you need to give it enough SL like 200 pips while targeting 350 to 500 pips. This should be traded with 1 or 2% of your total equity. Simple!

piphacker: let me say for the first time i dont like what you posted here. this thread is meant for those who are just coming up with forex or those that have lost heavily to forex. i followed your link and i discovered that you are promoting a referral programme. i dont go agsinst such but it should be done in a more matured and honest manner. if you have any issue with hotforex say it so we can all learn. i have never had any issue with them and i dont normally promote them blatantly. please i dont see anything in the link you posted except it carries me to their website and i saw your affiliate id in the link. be that as it may, i still welcome you to the world of Affiliate Marketing. cheers

I don't have any issue with Hotforex, just that they are serving me well and their customer care is the best among all other forex brokers I used in the past. I just gave him the answer he needed, nothing more nothing less.

Since you are sure you have the bank statement with you, you have to scan it in any Cyber cafe nearest to you and tell them to edit it, place your address in a strategic place in the bank statement. Make sure you do it pure and clean. This is not right but I just gave you the advise to make sure you verify your account.

visionworld: I have issues with verification of account on hotforex. They insisted I must send address verification and since they cannot accept electricity which bears my landlord name, what option can I used to verify address? Please i need your advice.

Simply work to any bank you are using and ask for your statement of account, you will get it within 20 minutes, scan it and send it through their email or paste it on your MyhotForex home page. With that you can be able to verify your account. Bear in mind what they need you to verify is your address and in that Nepa bill your Landlord's name will be on it. Use bank statement that carries your name and address on it.
