Hi Fhemmy, How are you, Hope you are well. Let me know how your research went yesterday, And if implementing the task is possible. Otherwise if we have to abort it, Let me know so I can inform the client on time so he makes other alternative plans. Regards |
@Busybody Hi, I am not sure what you mean by my bark was not meant to be seen but heard? Besides I think it is a bit inappropriate for you to call my question a "bark". My question was mainly to ask her what she was referring to, and it had no sarcastic intent. I do not get my self involved in conflicts, sarcasm and neither do I direct ludicruos comments at fellow nairalanders and never intend to. If it came across to you or cecelle as being a bit agressive, Then I apologise Many thanks for your time |
cecelle:What exactly do you want? |
Congrats on the sale. |
@Mr EDO/YORUBA God bless you too sir, You are far too kind! |
Also with regards to this age issue. It really does not mean a thing. Even if a woman is 32 or 34. It really doesnt. Whoever will find love will find love. The love you had in your 20's might just be for a season and not for a lifetime, And you might be destined to meet the one meant for your lifetime when you are 32 or 34. Some people come in your life for a reason, season or lifetime, Regards |
madlady:Ahh Madlady, Thanks, You seem like a great person yourself. The sad thing is that there aint a lot of guys who appreciate a good woman. Most guys take a good woman for granted and it is too too dispiriting. The worst thing is when you treat a woman bad and make her loose her self-esteem and confidence. Believe me, A real good woman is hard to find, Treat her like a queen when you do find her. |
It all depends on the younger guy and how mature his mind frame is. I met my partner when I was 21, she was 23, we have been together since then and planning to get married now even though she's two years older. Age don't mean a thing. It is only a number. |
@Maxi t Thanks for your reply The cost for the 2003 model will be 2.7 million delivered to your door. I am unable to source you one for your 2.5 budget. Up your budget and I will make your dreams come true by giving you true quality. Thanks |

Thanks Jemby, Definately is, Instead of eating lunch at a restaurant for your usual 600 naira, Giving this dude's family 100 naira and eating lunch for 500 naira just for that day in honour of this dude won't kill anyone. Lets think about it people, We are all one big family, Let us make this country a better place and show love to one another. |

Gawd. May his soul rest in Perfect peace and may God grant his family the fortitude to bear the loss. Some people are fighting on another thread, while some people are mourning here. Life is too short. We should stop laughing at people who create threads to say they are searching 200k, 300k or 400k cars to purchase, it is what they can afford and we should endeavour not make a joke out of them or make them sobriquets of comedy's. This guy came all the way from Ph to buy a 450k car, all he was doing was simply cutting his coat according to his size and buying what he could afford, May God bless his soul It really hurts me when I see people make a mockery out of such people. We should show respect to our fellow human no matter their social stratification or pedigree in life. It can be any of us tommorow. Let us all show each other love in this autosection, show that we can unite and show that we are one big family Tosin touch, You are the only one who knows this guy and his family as you sold the car to him. We know the economic situation in the country is tough at the moment and people are loosing their jobs left right and centre but I suggest we should open a thread asking people to contribute whatever they can, be it 50 naira, 100 naira, 200 naira, 1000 naira or 2000 naira. Any amount at all, Nothing is too small or too big, so we can donate it all to his family. After the contibutions have been made, List names of people who contributed on the thread. Let us do this with total transparency and honesty . I am still in Nigeria right now. Post the account number you wish me to make a contribution into, I will do it tommorow and put "German007" as the reference number for payment. Thanks German007 Esq. |
Kunle. Have you lot in the US ever heard or dreamt of the Vw Golf R32?, Or the Golf VR6?, lol |
@Madlady, Morning, Booked your test drive yet? |
So which one did the US market call "Jetta" is that the same as the European "Bora"? |
Sorry to hear about your loss. I have never ever had any theft in any vehicle I have shipped to Tincan. Everything comes intact and complete. Tincan security protocol has been greatly improved and enhanced with 24hr surveillance and hi-tech equipment. As the house says, Your clearing agent is the first suspect, The clearing agent I use pays royalties to the port security and port staff to keep an eye on all vehicles given to him to clear. All these are the unwritten prerequisites that ensure a customer recieves his car complete. Maybe in this case he has been greedy and not paid the mandatory royalties to the port rats, vessel staff or even port security. No disprespect to the port touts and rats but they still have to get their royalties. It is Nigeria for you. |
@ House. I learnt how to drive in the UK when I was 18 and passed my driving test at 19. I am about 28 years old, So that means over eleven years of quality, astute driving under my belt. I have been to over 13 countries and Nigeria is the only country I come to and never drive. Inspite of my driving experience, Each time I come to Nigeria, I never ever drive. I have a driver and only call him to come to work when I need to go out, or otherwise I get private car hire. One might blame this Golf buyer for not being the best of drivers as more experience would have allowed him avoid the potential hazard that killed him, but who knows, It is more likely to have been precipitated by reckless driving by the trailer driver. May his soul rest in Peace. This is really sad. |

VESSEL ARRIVED AT TINCAN. CUSTOM CLEARING BEGINS. ALL THE WAY FROM SANTAMONICA CALIFORNIA TO LAGOS, NIGERIA. WE MAKE IT HAPPEN. |
1.5 Million for a 2002 X5 with 81k miles? ? ? ? Really absurd as about four people on here have indicated interest for the car. The fact that people are actually attempting to buy it is really worrying. How did you clear a car in Lagos and drive it to Uyo unregistered to place if for sale? ?. Did you break into BMW factory in Spartanburg, South Carolina with a gun to assemble steal the parts and assemble it for yourself. haba. A 2002 x5 with 81k miles is worth about 2.5m. |
I reckon you must be referring to the Mk1 Passats |
@Kunle You are spot on. @House, Sorry to break this sad news out, But X5 posted in the picture is either a 2000 or 2001 model. I know German cars inside out, Especially BMW's. As you can see from the picture of the 2004 model posted above by Kunle you will see that the front grille is slightly different and the headlamp is clearer and crystal like. In 2004 X5 was facelifted with new headlights, a few new exterior colors, a new four-wheel drive system and upgraded engines. The grilles were enlarged, as well as their actual slats being modified in a 'flame surfaced' style, the 2004 X5's headlights got "angel-eyes" (rings or halos around all front headlamps) as you see in Kunle's pic. The taillights also received a facelift , and the exterior glass went from a "dotted" pattern to a cleaner "line" pattern. Poster, Your car is beautiful and I wish you the happiest sale, But honesty and integrity are the best policies in life. Thanks |
