Politics / Ten Reasons Why Nigeria Will Never Ever Work by Germannig: 10:37am On Sep 07, 2023 |
Copied: Ten reasons why Nigeria will never ever work (yes, you heard me, I mean never ever). 1. Corruption scourge. The leaders are thoroughly corrupt. Unfortunately, the average citizens are only slightly different than their leaders in this regard. What Tinubu did with the judiciary yesterday, the average Nigerian would do at his own level. For most, it's a matter of the right opportunity to unleash their own interests. That's why many are happy or indifferent with the verdict. 2. Nigerians are the most tribalistic people on earth. In this case of Tinubu vs Atiku vs Obi, the Yoruba have championed tribalism and taken it to the rooftop. In other cases it is others, such as with the Fulani and Buhari in the last 8 years. Tribalism precludes rational thinking 3. Nigerians are religious fanatics. This is absolutely worse with the Muslims than with others. Religious fanaticism precludes rational thinking. No Need for further discussion on this. 4. The average Nigerian is mentally convoluted. They reason with their stomach, rather than with their brain. This is why politicians manipulate their greed, which surprisingly runs so shallow they could be manipulated with a mere $1 (N1000) bribery. It's called stomach infrastructure 5. The average Nigerian is impoverished. This is a deliberate state-sponsored ploy by leaders to perpetuate point 4 above. 6. The average Nigerian is grossly uneducated in the civic matters that anchor or foundation nation building 7. Nigerians, both rich and poor, are me-first driven. There is no collective with them. Societies that work must be collective. 8. Nigerians are very fleeting, ephemeral, and complacent. A combination of these 3 qualities means weak foundations. Any surprises nothing works in Nigeria? 9. Nigerians lack political ideologies. That's why politicians run from one party to another. 10. One of the worst of all, because this speaks to the quality of the individual humans. A lot of Nigerians lack the mental capacity to discern issues. That's why they are easily the most brainwashed people on earth. They are brainwashed with just about anything: religion, tribe, culture, politics, tokenism, peer factor, fake speech, social media, etc Bonus point: 11. The Nigerian constitution is warped. That's why the judiciary comes up with different verdicts for similar cases. This creates the notion that Nigeria is a lawless country where some are above the law. 9 Likes 2 Shares |

I live in the New England region of the US. All that onions would sell for about 2.5 to 5 dollars, depending on the store. 70 Naira is less than 20 US cents. This is a huge loss to these farmers. |
Politics / Message From Gombe On The Food Matter by Germannig: 4:56pm On Mar 03, 2021 |
To buy this at 70 Naira means farmers are losing money seriously. Interestingly, as you would see from the screendhots, these farmers also include Igbo and Yoruba, in addition to northerners. 1 Like

richeeyo: I agree with you on this. Apologies that this hurt you. It's just that a good number of examples of such behaviors by some Yorubas can be cited. That of course should not indict every single Yoruba. I am an Igbo man. However, I feel that a southern Nigeria will be a much stronger country, if not the strongest in Africa, then a separate Biafra, Niger Delta, or Oduduwa country. We southerners should work together to dissolve from the North. 5 Likes |

An average Yoruba hates the Igbo and the hatred seems to be just natural. When something goes wrong and the Igbo does not seem to be directly involved, the Yoruba see it differently. When that same thing goes wrong and the Igbo are involved, they see it differently. How else do you explain this ? 1 Like

Politics / Much Ado About Fulani Cattle- See Nigeria's Place in Global Cattle Production by Germannig: 12:24am On Jan 29, 2021 |
Quoted "Despite all the ado about cattle rearing in Nigeria, the country does not rank among the first ten highest cattle producing countries in the word. According to the FAO, the world has 1.468 billion head of cattle. Of that, Nigeria has only 20 million. The image below shows the first 20 highest cattle producers in the world and where Nigeria sits. Nigeria's population is approximately 200 M (perhaps much more). This means for every 10 Nigerians, there is only 1 cow. This is not such a great number, yet people are being killed, women raped, and farms destroyed by the herders, Fulani. Notably, nomadism is practiced in India, Ethiopia, Sudan and Tanzania, all ahead of Nigeria on the Table in the photo. Do these countries experience problem between herders and farmers, like Nigeria? If not, has the Nigerian government consulted with them to understand how they do it and how nomads relate with farmers there? That could be a starting point to finding a solution to the problem between herders and farmers."

Politics / Video: Fulani Youths Dissect Yoruba For Yorubas by Germannig: 1:23am On Jan 27, 2021 |
I have a very interesting video of Fulani youths dissecting Yoruba leaders, including Tinubu, Akeredolu, Faysmi and others. Unfortunately, the Nairaland system is not letting me upload it. Any suggestions how to upload videos here? |

These suggestions are quicker fixes that MNK and IPOB in particular, and Igbos at large, should consider while waiting for Biafra.I see no reason MNK cannot form a political party and test his popularity among Igbos. |

The main rice producing states in Nigeria are Ebonyi,, Kaduna, Kano, Niger, Benue, Taraba and Borno, others states includes Enugu and Cross River.
