Honestly I blame Jonathan for allowing this criminals APshit take control of this country. Man was too democratic to a fault. The criminality of apc was so glaring. Jonathan is a coward. He claimed that the blood of any Nigerian is not worth his political ambition and allowed apc to take control fraudulently yet Nigerians have become non living things under the leadership of APshit. Jonathan shame on you for allowing this calamity on us. If he was proactive buhari wound have been rotting in jail by now after he said monkeys and baboons will be soaked in blood if he looses the election the 4th time.

oyebanji:
This is being clever by half. What is the dollar value of the loans for the 2 periods?
To put this in context, under Buhari, Naira to USD was averagely N320 while under Tinubu its averagle N1400. At Buharis N75trn and Tinubu's N65trn, loans under Burai is $234bn while same under Tinubu is $46bn.
you are not okay upstairs. Who took dollars from 320 to 1400? At least buhari was paying subsidy. Life wasn't as hell as this hell we are living in now. All the money they are saving from subsidy why aren't they using it to invest in projects that will ease the suffering of the common man. All of you supporting this satanic administration on the lines of tribe and religion will die a shameful death

Throwback:
What is the correlation between election and the fact that a corper was abducted by terrorists?

What political party would have stopped terrorism that the past PDP and the cirrent APC in government have not stopped since 2010 when all this mess began?

Would election stop the ethnoreligious persuasions that feed the inclination towards a life of terrorism?
you have zero comprehension. Let me summarise: what he meant is that we shouldn't select our leaders on the yardstick of tribe, party affiliations, religion etc. But on the basis of competence. Competent leaders means no terrorism...

Politics › Re: FG Bans Meter Installation Charges, Threatens Sanctions by Gerundphrase: 7:49am On Jan 23
They are still looking for more money to steal. An average citizen doesn't know that discos highest revenue generation comes from estimated bills which makes it difficult for govt to actually keep to track on the amount of money which discos makes. Properly taxii'g them now becomes a problem. Those excess fees for what is meant to be freebfor the citizens, discourage people from installing meters. This set up doesn't favour the government that's why they are enforcing that meters must be for freee

Foreign Affairs › Re: Maduro Heads To Court For Arraignment (photo) by Gerundphrase: 9:09pm On Jan 05
MT:
If Maduro was a dictator, there are set of tools within the international laws that could address that.

It was not for a US govt to unilaterally come to kidnap him.

The legality of US action is being debated in the UN right now and the US allies are in a very difficult position to even defend what the US has done.

Spanish Foreign Minister even said if we condemned Putin for what he is doing in the Ukraine, we should find the courage to condemn the US action in Venezuela.
UN can only condemn. There is nothing much they can do. Only USA has the capability to execute the operation of regime change. Mind you, the toppling isn't all about losing election. One thing you should understand about USA is that whatever they do there must be something that has their interests. 1. is curbing drug influx into their country 2. Venezuela has been navigating around sanctions placed on them by selling oil at cheap rate to China, Russia and iran as low as $30 per barrel. These are die hard enemy of USA. So the main reason for the invasion is resource control

Foreign Affairs › Re: Biden, Harris Declared Maduro Wanted "Dead Or Alive" & Placed $25M Bounty On Him by Gerundphrase: 5:53pm On Jan 05
yahaya1:
I actually need an enlightenment. What would make a president of one of the largest producers of oil in the world be engaging in drugs dealing? What is the wisdom behind this kind of act?
he doesn't generate enough money from oil sales due to sanctions. Most of his oil sales is through back doors leaving him at the exploit and price determined by buyers, mostly China and Russia. And that's another angle of USA interest. Because low cost energy for these countries weakens USA power

Politics › Re: US Secretary Of War Commends Nigeria Government Cooperation In Airstrike by Gerundphrase: 7:55am On Dec 26, 2025
kolafolabi:
The U.S. strike on ISIS targets in Nigeria can be seen as a short-term counter-terrorism measure aimed at weakening extremist groups and supporting Nigeria’s fight against insecurity. While it may disrupt militant operations and signal international cooperation, it raises concerns about sovereignty, civilian safety, and long-term effectiveness. Military action alone cannot resolve Nigeria’s complex security challenges, which are rooted in governance gaps, economic hardship, and local conflicts. Sustainable peace requires broader, locally driven solutions beyond airstrikes.
Mr sympathiser, kindly state the locally driven solutions and stop capping dust. The only forgiveness for terrorist is to kill them all. Whether long or short term solutions, the message is clear: if you and kinsmen think you can continue the killings of Christians in Nigeria unabated, then you should think twice. Meanwhile, brace yourself, more strikes are you coming
