alsudaes1: Well, how do we get to know when we didn't see the scores (result)?
Moreover, you should have asked about the 'Cut-Off' score or mark, but that is also subject to knowing what each candidate scored.
Again, sometimes, the issue of Federal Character is something crucial when it comes to Federal Government Jobs, it might have affected some of us.
If they eventually call us, Glory be to God, if not, well, we will accept it as fate.
Just thank God and count yourself lucky for being called for the interview, that's all!!!
Bro you've a point here,Merit in FG work is diffcult to define cos this Federal Character stunt. For e.g 200 persons might come from a particular state and scored let's say bw 50 to 85 & only 20 persons are needed from each state while another state might've only 30 persons who scored bw 20-45,it's still Merit under FC. So those of us called should only count ourself lucky not that passed better than all. Wishing the uncalled positions best of luck.....

It like our analysis is degenerating to the encounter between the ''Elephant & the Ten Blind Men''. The more I look, the less I see. The interview,Panels, screening,in facts everything changes from latest trend. God remain our strengths!

On the day of my interview,we asked them when are they getting back to us i.e the Training, they said within one month. So I hope before 22-23 this month the good news everybody is waiting for will be out.

write247ng: i think from the flow of the interview of 6 batches with 10 people each , it means that maybe so states were not fully represented in the first batch interview as members of the federal character commission were there and they had to call others from such states by lowering the cut off mark and called them
6 batches with 10m= 60 people for 2 days tommorow will be 120 people being called
i think this is to make up for some states and maybe some people have also been screened out of the first interview.
that is why i always tell people that interviews are selection process
Is like you're missing something here. IN the April interview it was THREE Batches in a day- 7am,11am,2pm made up of 11x6=66. Then x it by 3 = 198.Multiply by the 4 days it lasted=792. So this May interview is likely to follow suit i.e 120 x the number of days it'll last.

kkon: Guy who tell u say suit dey necessary.. U ve to be an Hr personnel to knw wat n wat is d criteria 4 selection... Stop giving pple high hopes. D grading will be based on ur speech presentation, composure n experience...
Then why didn't you wear jean & T shirt on your day? It's you that's deceiving others and yourself.
They day I did own mine one guy wore plain troussers & off colour shirt-He was told b4 us that he'll loss some mark for dressing casually. Composure & Speech presentation follows including dressing decently or corporate sunny boy!

@Thobbylawbarnk Do mean the Set of Enrollment Officers interviewed 2day is only for Lagos & Rivers state? It seems likely cos two of my friends hitting the NIMC HQs 2day & moro choosed Rivers as their preferred states.

I strongly believe in NIMC Transparency cos I've spoken with up to 10 guys invited without 'normal' Nigerian method of Who-Know-Man. I knw so many people have lost interest in the Nigerian job hunt project cos of primordial & pecuniary interests.NIMC has corrected that impression to a great extent, even if we're not selected at the end of day like most people erronously &cynically believe, the experience so far is a steping stone for a greater heights.

Besides the vacancies are wide to contain that tendency. According to my line of reasoning-The April sets are Merit List,May set is likely Federal Character list,Catchment list might come later & lastly miscellanous list comprising the 'annoited' by stakeholders. May God see us through & help our expectant brothers/sisters who applied for other positions to be shortlisted.

There's another Batch 2moro. A friend of my will hit the hot seat 12noon. This means NIMC interview is usually Tuesdays & Wednesdays as the 1st Batch was 23 & 24th...

@ Pechiko & Alasuomowei your observations might be right as I've two persons I knew from same state being invited on 7th & 8th respectively. I strongly believe that this 2nd sets of Interviewee has something to do with Federal Character while the first set was Merit list ( not meaning the 2nd set failed but the 1st set performed better than them based on NIMC secret cut off mark)
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Nimc 2012/2013 Interview by gfullmoon(m): 9:56pm On May 06, 2013
The Nigerian 'factor' cannot be ignored, but NIMC's Transparency & Integrity so far cannot be ignored too but commended. Most of us shortlisted for the exam & Interviewed never lobbied for it. You ple saw what happened with INEC & NNPC Recruitment-many were not even shortlisted for the exam let alone interviewed. Your NHIS & FIRS example are insightful but was never nation wide if only 10 was interviewed, & the exam was not written by 158,000 applicants like the NIMC. And the responsibility of an Enrollment Officer & other Positions are too sensitive to be left with mediocres & the workers the Commission disengaged are looking for loopholes to get 'back' at the Commission & DG for sending them packing. So the Commission is likely to be 50% or more merit oriented than the usual typical Nigerian 5% or less Merit oriented.

So now you understand the true picture? To have gotten this far for most of us, it means God is the greatest connection & NIMC is Transparent. And nobody that passed the exam by merit will fail the walk over interview nor the Training Test or another interview by God's grace.Jehovah that started this work never fails,so friends this job is ours! But you must prepare well for your interview & leave the rest to God.

This JAMB result honestly is not true reflection of peoples score, if it can be subjected to neutral marker this fluke called 2013 JAMB Result will be unmask. I suspect 50 to 100 marks were deducted from some centers or candidates suspected of malpractice. Despite the death of about 50 Jambites across the nation on their bid to write the exam, who'll belief JAMB will choose to punish innocent Nigerians with this negative marking.I think JAMB could've cancelled the whole exam than choosing this style of punishment. If the paper leaked who did leak it if not them them.JAMB is outliving its usefulness o

@ JURI the Enrollment Officers and their states of need was duly stated which is your 28 positions and state office should be taking not less than 7 or maximum of 15 Enrollment officers to reduce excess queue. If you go through their official site photo gallery, you'll see Kwara state i.e Ilorin Enrollment center which is made of almost 13 cubicles for Enrollment officers.Except they're planning augmenting their staff strength with IT Students,Corps Members or Adhoc staff etc the number should be bw 800 to 1200 or more because LGAs should as well have enrollment Officers not less than 2 persons .May be that's the reason why NIMC started with it first because it's the biggest and the ones urgently needed to be TRAINED to kick-start the nation wide exercise in June as other positions can be done within one day and join later.
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Nimc Sends Invite Again!!! by gfullmoon(m): 11:23pm On May 04, 2013
Those of us interviewed on 23rd and 24th last month were not asked to print anything rather our names were called out on their gate. May be that list was merit list,to be followed by Federal Character list (may be this new invitees) etc OR alternatively some of us fail the interview,OR rather all will be interviewed in Batches.Wear your suit and study current Affairs, research about the Commission and the Position you applied. You must succeed.

Guys any insider hint on the possible date of shortlisting of other positions advertised and calling of the two positions shortlisted already for the Training? This waiting game without carrying the Applicants along by most Nigerian employer is damnable.I wonder if developed world handle theirs like ours.

I wonder where this DG thing is coming from? We the 2nd Batch on 23rd 7am were told to wait for a Training call or sms within one month, after which test will be conducted based of the Training which no one that passed the Aptitude Test & Interview is likely to fail cos the test will be product of the Training. From where appointment & deployment letter will be issued.

I did the Interview too on 23rd 7am,made up of Batch 1 to 6 or A to G consisting of 11 Applicants to be interviewed in a row starting from 1 to 11.It was only Enrolment Officers & Head State Offices that were interviewed. Any person saying otherwise is a figment of their creative imaginations. I want those that did the interview to contact me on 08182266388 so that we rob mind together & remain one another's keeper as we wait patiently for the Training sms this Month.Thank everybody!

I did the interview today. It's simple-1. Introduction after accreditation.2. Panel question i.e 5 persons will ask you ple about 11 in a roll questions of their choices centered on the Commission,Current Affairs etc and you'll be graded accordingly. Remember to wear your suits as it counts as part of the interview.Successful Applicants will within one month be invited for Training,if successful then Employment letters 'll be issued to them. Good luck!
