write247ng: I believe for the past two weeks that there has been no interview ,See you DG with the authentic infor about NIMC in your 'office'. Is this not your personal opinion? Guy always practise what you preach.......No just provoke me o! |
write247ng: hello ,what you need to know is that when they say 2-6 weeks it means the training will vary depending on the various positions and their need for training.Guy it's either you're a fresh learner of the Queen's Language or u're suffering from infantile insentivity. Your badderdash above simply amounts to ignoratio elenchi or rather argumentum ad hominem. Ur words-''Get that correct and they did not tell you that they will employ up to 1000 enrolment officer. Let try not to post our personal opinions that are not very objective , except direct info from nimc sources'' I used Applicant meaning everybody. And I am entitled to my candid personal opinions without any fear of equivocation. How many persons here have given direct authentic infor from NIMC 'sources'? Pls respect ur age or I'll wish u happy children's day! |
This Dudes trying to pull peoples leg by saying fake things about Training sms. I think this is an expensive joke not & will not be tolerated in this thread. This is a Fed job-the list must be published in at least one National Daily & most job hunt sites will carry it. Publish the sms u got & stop deceiving urself. |
This wait might even be longer than expected cos the facilities to train about a thousand Applicants or more in terms of basic infrastructure, accommodation, feeding, allowances etc might not be easy thing to come by o,may be that's why NIMC is taking their time. As for their next month i.e frm 2moro kick-off,that dream might no longer be realisable cos the Training according to their claim should last bw 2 to 6 weeks. So lets zero our mind like Alas said to avoid HBP, b4 June end that cat must surely be left out of the bag..........and Smile shall be our case! |
When NIMC Training starts,it's not going to be treated secretly cos they must publish the list in at least one National Daily. This is Fed Job,so noone should panic or create one by lying that the List is out already. By my candid permutation this wait or List should be over latest Next Weekend. |
NAU1: when people respond u refuse to believe, y would anyone forget what they applied for, reg and enrol officers has been called for interview. state lg or what have u. you u say they are still been called that is a diff thing but called they have, havn't u been following this thread? 85% of people here are reg officer that have done there interview and before u ask.. yes i am one of them |
Lanre6: For those who are seeking to know if truely enrollment and registration monitoring officer's post(LG) has been called,it is not true at all, people are confused because majority of the respondentsYour analysis is insightful. I'm even having funny idea that all those LGA related positions might be done in their respective State Hqts under the watch of Abuja observers. It's a fact that most people have forgotten what they applied, while others applied through third party. And to compound the issue NIMC didn't put positions to text sent to the May Batch as they clearly did to the April Batch. And I wonder what they were asked cos most of them were unwilling to share it or their experience as if they swore secrecy oath with NIMC. Those of us who wish to work & grow with NIMC can you keep a secret? That's lesson number one so far! |
If by 7am Monday morning and nothing comes out about Training smsly. We should patiently reboot our system to 1% loading........Hapi weekend my bros. Up Dortmund. |
eastermaris: Bro no be only u o.Got same message to bring my credentials for screening in d inec benin office 29th.I hope it dsnt clash with the nimc training o,cos i really need to survey aspa salary b4 i pick.I think 29th should be public holiday? So be patient, i 4my felow pple wen don go interview, make una chill, Nimc need una pass ice water 4under hot sun.. Make i shatap 4 now, UNA WELL DONE OOOH..Alas... U make mega sense here. How authentic is ur tori? Any way sha u be GEJ brother..... The waiting game is getting closer... |
''The last day of a man is always dangerous''. ''The darkest hour is the dawn''. It'll be all over before June. God is our strength! |
Let us be realistic here. Whenever Federal Character is involved, definition of merit & cut off is fluid that's Why NIMC dIdn't make their result open to avoid unnecessary legal tussle. And this does not mean NIMC iS not transparency per se but the Nigerian factor did. If not for FC, & recruitmt exam is thrown open, one or two states might clinche at the vancancies . That's why most Fed Jobs scores are treated like black box. I am not saying this cos I am favoured but to set the record right. |
@ Henchyk most of you guys think some of us are from the Moon & not Nigerians, which is bad & amounts to hasty fallacious conclusion. We know all this factors u've mentioned. Assuming all ur findings are true- there's reasons for you & me to believe in NIMC transperancy or 50% Merit. The total vancany is up to 1,700,though some said it up to 4,000 owing to the disengaged staff which is relatively enough to satisfy all stakeholder's aggrandised interests. And the job itself is not a thing anybody with certificate can do. Can you answer? 1. Why did NIMC asked some people to resend their credentials if they pride in elimination method? 2. They've conscience having taken people outside their preferred locations to go & write the Aptitude Test & the interview. 3. Why is most political jobbers saying the front line is tight in fixing up their cronies? 4. Why should NIMC border us the unconnected except God with interview instead of swooping on their preferred & annoited candidates? 5. During my interview day,I saw a guy still serving who was also invited, which proved to me that NIMC never looked at qualification but on exam performances. I socialised with the guy the only mistake I made was I didn't collect his mobile no. He told me he is afraid they'll disqualify him(which told me he had no connection),that he had gone to his state NIMC Secretariat to ask about his chances without NYSC certificate as he didn't want to waste his money in travelling to Abuja. He said ,he was advised to give it try. Even the screening panel didn't dissuade him having find out. 6. Do the 'annoited' or connected write Aptitude Test or go through Interview or Due process?I think they're begged to Accept Appointment Letters. Believing in God my bro is not a fantasy or Idealist intercourse. God never leads his children half way.Even If I didn't get this job, it simply means God has greater plan for me,not a cause for crying or ill feelings. By God's grace we shall all succeed, let's keep hope & faith alive . Thank you! |
NIMC Merit list go reach 50% cos a friend of mine who works at National Assembly & did the test has met almost 5 Senators even with money begging them to help him out, all told him the war front tight after trials. By the grace of God we'll all survive.... |
Is like people who went for interview this week are not satisfied with their performances or felt mislead by Nairalanders that's why they don't want to up date us all on their impressions or infors. It's selfish to rat on this trend having gotten much from it in the past few months. This marital vow is their case now,''Let them speak out now or remain silent for life''. |
henchyk: LOL there shall be a lot of weeping.Henchyk belief you me,if u don't change your wasped pessimistic mentality, you'll be having problems with urself & people. You're the type that'll always blame others for your failure. Why are you a bloody & unrepentant saddist & kill joy? If you appreciate others success, urs must surely come, but if cynically pray for other's failure, you might never experience success too. This trend don't need your type. I wonder what you're still doing here. Several testmonies here & there has not changed ur retrogressive mentality & fatalism. |
funom2004: From an inside source....I was told that the compilation of the list will begin from this Friday to Monday next week...it is believed that we maybe called as from 21st - 24th of may...(Just had a phone call with one of the staffs o...I can't guarantee how true) just posting the info. i had...This your infor corresponds with what they told us when one of us on 23rd April asked them(Interviewers) when they'll be calling us for Training during the Applicants Question Section of the interview & they replied within 1 month. |
From my enquiries, once one is shortlisted for INTERVIEW in FG work. The % of getting the job is 90% except it's Military or para-military where it's 5%. |
alfa john: mister, what will u have done. interview all 158000? it is often said that exam. is not the best test of IQ or intelligence but it is still the most practicable. also the people called for inter. are all saying the truth u need not know somebody to be called for inter. the man know man list are not called for inter. cause they are already employed. they just document and collect their letter. it is only those in merit list and fed character that go thro due process. if ur are not called know maybe God has a better deal for u down the line. the blessing in God's custody is much more than NIMC job. u just have to keep faith surely (may be slowly) u will be blessed.Kia ur advice na senior & truth.com. This guy is telling us that President's Son can take the risk from Aba to Kwara on road, then to Abuja. The Connected don't write exam, nor go thru interview. They're begged to collect Appointment Letters. That's it! |
Those guys are pessimist & hope killers joor. Make dem no come here o. Make dem carry their advice go o. |
wizzy2021: dude am not jealous... Did I tell u I didn't make it to d interview? I pity u, u go later kW wots up wen appointment letter don dey show. Sha we dey here, we no dey go anywhere. That time again I go remind u.Then if you've made it to the INTERVIEW stage. Why are u still exihibiting cynism? Are you then Thomas? Or did you runs it? I pray you get this job & shame nobody but urself. The future belongs to those who always think positive, noone is desperate here, even if we didn't get this job which I don't & 'll never belief for once-the experience so far is still worthwhile. Always see the positive aspect of every venture bro, life is so short to use 20 Minutes to entertain a negative thought. If you can't join this TREND of people who believe in possibilities. Honourably leave us,you can come back to do your laughing or crying when your 'prayer' is answer. |
wizzy2021: when dey start giving the appointment letters... That time u will understand that all dis process all na wash. As u said, considering the issue of federal character in dis nimc job and other FG jobs, u will find out that at most 10 pple will b recruited from each state. How many local governments do u have in ur state, how many senators and house of remembers do u have in ur state, governors. All dis pple have interest in dis recruitment, just tell urslf d truth. By d time dey have shared it among demslves, like one or (WO slots go remain for merit if at all e go dey, dey can invite everyone that passed d test for interview just to make everyone blv d r Bn fair, but d truth remains that na pple wa Dem want Dem go gv d job, how will u kW now if u passed d test or not, or if everyone here attended the test. If u can remember inec, dey all claimed to havve gotten it not knowing anyone, but d truth b say all of Dem kW pple in high places. Some of us myt b lucky to get it on merit, but make we no too high our hopes, na FG job, make una kW forget say na 109 senators and 360 house of rep members plus 36 governors... All have interet in dis recruitment. All dos pple u saw on d board of d interview all get at least 2 slots each. So mk una calm down n see as tinx develop.Bro we're all Nigerian Graduates. No one is doubting your candid experience about nepotism & favouritism, this same issues still played out during our admission processes. Didn't some still get it through Merit? Yes is the answer. The same thing pervase the Labour market esp Govt establishments, point of correction we all know it.But many are still picked based on Merit. Where ur argument is damnable is telling us that Merit doesn't exist again, which is the heightest of lie & discouragement. Do you think we're all Learners though we graduated newly? Am convinced beyond reasonable doubt that NIMC will use 50% or more Merit, 10% Fed Xter,Catchment & spread 10%, 'Annoitment' 30%. They proved so by even asking ple whose documents are in doubt to tender the originals intead getting rid of them.MERIT STILL EXISTS THAT MY POINT !!! |
INSIGHTS FOR THOSE GOING FOR INTERVIEW! MasterCard grabs Nigeria’s Identity Card deal Tweet 44 May 12, 2013 | 7:17 pm Finance By Prince Osuagwu Nigerian National Identity Management Commission, NIMC, has announced partnership with MasterCard on the roll of 13 million MasterCard-branded National Identity Smart Cards with electronic payment capability as a pilot program. The National Identity Smart Card is the Card Scheme under the recently deployed National Identity Management System (NIMS). This program is the largest roll-out of a formal electronic payment solution in the country and the broadest financial inclusion initiative of its kind on the African continent. As part of the program, in its first phase, Nigerians aged 16 years and above, as well as all residents in the country for more than two years, will get the new multipurpose identity card which has 13 applications including MasterCard’s prepaid payment technology that will provide cardholders with the safety, convenience and reliability of electronic payments. The Project will have Access Bank Plc as the pilot issuer bank for the cards and Unified Payment Services Limited (Unified Payments) as the payment processor. Other issuing banks will include United Bank for Africa, Union Bank, Zenith, Skye Bank, Unity Bank, Stanbic and First Bank. Expressing happiness at the development, Nigeria’s Finance Minister, Dr Mrs Ngozi Oknjo-Iweala noted that “this program is good practice for us to bring all the citizens on a common platform for interacting with the various government agencies and for transacting electronically. We will implement this initiative in a collaborative manner between the public and private sectors, to achieve its full potential of inclusive citizenship and more effective governance,” she said. Meanwhile, President, Middle East and Africa, MasterCard, Michael Miebach, said that “this partnership is the first phase of an unprecedented project in terms of scale and scope for Nigeria.MasterCard has been a firm supporter of the Central Bank of Nigeria’s CBN, Cashless policy initiative as we share a vision of a world beyond cash. From the program’s inception, we have provided the Federal Government of Nigeria with global insights and best practices on how electronic payments can enable economic growth and create a more financially inclusive economy”. On his own part, the Director General and Chief Executive of the National Identity Management Commission, Chris ‘E Onyemenam said “we have chosen MasterCard to be the payment technology provider for the initial rollout of the National Identity Smart Card project because the Company has shown a commitment to furthering financial inclusion through the reduction of cash in the Nigerian economy.” He added, “MasterCard has pioneered large scale card schemes that combine biometric functionality with electronic payments and we want to capitalize on their experience in this field to make our program rollout a sustainable success for the country and the continent.” “Access Bank’s involvement in this project is testament to our ongoing efforts to expand financial inclusion in Nigeria,” said AigbojeAig-Imoukhuede, CEO of Access Bank. “The new identity card will revolutionize the Nigerian economic landscape, breaking down one of the most significant barriers to financial inclusion – proof of identity, while simultaneously providing Nigerians with a world class payment solution”. “Unified Payments is the foremost transaction processor and pioneer of EMV processing and acquiring in Nigeria, owned by leading Nigerian banks. We will use our expertise and experience to guarantee the success of the project and ensure that the data of Nigerians are protected. We look forward to working with other partners in delivering value to all stakeholders”, said Agada Apochi, Managing Director and CEO, Unified Payments. The new National Identity Smart Card will incorporate the unique National Identification Numbers (NIN) of duly registered persons in the country. The enrolment process involves the recording of an individual’s demographic data and biometric data (capture of 10 fingerprints, facial picture and digital signature) that are used to authenticate the cardholder and eliminate fraud and embezzlement. The resultant National Identity Database will provide the platform for several other value propositions of the NIMC including identity authentication and verification. Thanks to the unique and unambiguous identification of individuals under the NIMS, other identification card schemes like the Driver’s License, Voters Registration, Health Insurance, Tax, SIM and the National Pension Commission (PENCOM) will benefit and can all be integrated, using the NIN, into the multi- function Card Scheme of the NIMS. When fully utilizing the card as a prepaid payment tool, the cardholder can deposit funds on the card, receive social benefits, pay for goods and services at any of the 35 million MasterCard acceptance locations globally, withdraw cash from all ATMs that accept MasterCard, or engage in many other financial transactions that are facilitated by electronic payments. All in a secure and convenient environment enabled by the EMV Chip and Pin standard. Upon completion of the National ID registration process, NIMC aims to introduce more than 100 million cards to Nigeria’s over 167 million citizens |
oladi2: I hv been following this trend for a while it seems 80 percent of people trending are freshersOga Oladi2 and then! This Nigerian mentality that 'Freshers' don't know the in-things in Nigerian job market is just to instil unusual fears into the freshers that can do more harm than good. Some Fresher ve stopped applying for jobs just because some Experienced hunters has erronously told them it's a waste of time without a connection. Experience & common sense has taught me that no JOB HUNTER IS EXPERIENCED,THE EXPERIENCED ONES ARE EMPLOYED.Because I've seen many Freshers got jobs without any connection while the 'experienced' ones are still searching. All that's needed from you people is to encourage us to doggedly work harder, hustle, broaden our skills & leave the rest to God not all this negativities & unexisting or over bloated fears. Back in the school days, people that over stayed their normal graduation years made us to negatively belief & hate some Lecturers based on their fairy-tales which almost all of them turned out to be falsehood to cover their lapses. So I don't belief & will never belief this your 'Fresher' theory. I'll forever belief in God & harder work which never fails whether Fresher or Experienced.Every person has different destiny & luck. Piece of advice ,no insult intended pls. |
@ Henchyk we all understand how u feel after all the stress which about 158,000 Nigerians went through for this job,it normal but don't allow emotion take over ur devotion & objectivity. God is still there for you & me. Belief you me, most of us who got the sms so far don't know anybody in NIMC which can be proved by the lack of real NIMC INSIDER in this trend. All we're doing here are hypothetically putting 2 and 2 together. Like Alams said no one has gotten the job yet & the invitation is still pouring out. Hope for the best & join us in prayer cos Jehovah never fails the Topest Oga kpata Kpata. |
I strongly believe in NIMC Transparency and Professionalism.Asking some people to bring some of their Certificate(s) within one week is the height of it. If it's the usual Nigerian wuruwuru way-missing one document or if they have any reason to suspect one of it-you're just a good riddance, they wouldn't border to notify you as their cronies are there waiting. Kudos to NIMC DG and the entire Management team-We're getting the picture of the team of achievers we're going work and be identified with. |
wordpad: Precisely, DG of NIMC ur work is good .BROS EEEH ,If the DG fines out you're eying his position, that might be the end the road for you o at NIMC, you know Africa leaders hate competitors.Lol! |
Since the new sms requiremt is diff from Enrolment Officers-this must be 4 the remaining positions & ur Sms is suppossed to carry d Position u applied except China hand done dey enter am o cos many ve 4gotten the position the applied for. |
alasuomowei: which One be Waec statement of Result again? Plz can u brief me tanxFamuzy I've critically reasoned about this your Testmonial story and come to the conclusion that you used GCE or External examination in your SSCE qualification i.e you quoted SSCE as your Sec Sch Certificate in your CV while you submitted GCE which can only be authenticated through your Sec Testmonial |
There we go again. No NIMC insider is in this trend... It sucks! May be when the job is done most of us wouldn't ve time for this trend again o. Happy weekend my people! |
famuzy: pls house, was anybody asked 2 submit seconday sch testimonal? Hw do u intend 2 submit it or can one send it across 2 dem tru a relative in abuja. Traveling back 2 abuja is stresful. Reply.May be or may be not-your Sec School cert might be in doubt as it was never stated in the Credentials to come along with when we hitted their HQs. So if u've gotten such request kindly 4ward it to them following their instruction. Thank u! |
