seighabenz: House jst found out dat evry bayelsan in ma batch was calld for training.....i'll giv u mo gist as mo fall in place...Why wouldn't all Bayelsan called? Una get President of Federal Republic of Nigeria. If I am Presido too,na my state first b4 others. I trust u bro, by Moro & next u wld've satisfied all our curiosity. Wish u successful Training & good luck! |
shiloh: My sabi sabi analysts, make una help me crack dis puzzle oo. Do u tink they will pik more dan one person from d same LGA if dey r using dat criteria to pik??They can cos most LGA don't ve candidates. For example I was called on 23rd April & 2 of my friends frm same LGA were called on May. Logically if it's 15 Applicants per state & one LGA only applied, they'll be considered cos NIMC can't force others to apply. Na force! I think this helps! |
albahafs: this thread is wondaful. It has brought ppl 2geda. I just want 2 ask a que house. Since accommodation will be provided, FEEDING NKO? info on dis will help with regards to MONEY. Make we know wetin we go carry. Pls someone with idea should share. See u guyz in Wuse zone 5. Shallom.Guy carry money if you've,recall ur NYSC experience even if they'll be feeding u ple it might be short of ur expectations, taste or appetite. It mightn't be twice or even once in a day & if u're the type that like food like me u better take some cash with with you, after all in the next 2 months u'll become a bigger boy cos they'll pay u ple Training Alawi, Take-off Alawi for successful Trainees not less than 200,000(so I heard not confirmed o) etc. Safe journey & Successful Training! Pls don't fail keep us posted as from Sunday about ur observations, impressions even rumours. Congrats! |
albahafs: Guy Zamfara is more than u think o.You don't have to take it personal,I just gave an example to encourage & strengthen a pal.& I did my NYSC in Zamfara so to some extent I know things about the state. Peace! |
chyna4luv: You guys have commented well based on your observation so far towards NIMC recruitment process, but as for me o, i will say that the process was not credible. How can you explain these, i wrote the CBT since April 27th, no result shown, interview invite was sent to some candidate, training invite followed and subsequently APL will come next. Atleast, my result should have been shown to me to help reduce pressure thereby giving me hope for invite and not randomly and secretly shortlisting/selection. Anyway my fingers and my legs are still crossed.. Thanks.Your observation(s )are by no way in doubt as to objectively affect NIMC credibility. This might be reasons why Most CBT or FG recruitment Exams aren't displayed. 1. Federal xter- If not for Fed Xter, 1-3 states might take all the positions at the detriment of other states. Hence, one from Imo or Kaduna state might score 60 & fail while one might score 45 from Zamfara & pass it. 2. To reduce the pain of ple that 'fail' not because they didn't do better but because their state Applicants were many or too competitive. 3. To reduce unnecessary legal tussle. 4. To accommodate the Nigerian factor. We're not saying the Whole Exercise is perfect or 100% but it's above 60% quite unlike the country we all knew thus,it's worthy of commendation in this our clime. Intensify in ur prayers u might still be called cos is not over yet as many didn't showed up during the Interview. Good luck! |
kazola30: congrat! IVICA kindly do us a favour by pasting the sms content on dis thread.Go back bw pages 100 to 101 u'll see the sms content. |
I love This Thread so much especially how U people resolve puzzles within seconds. By Monday our guys will prove us right that it was done Alphabetically & since Aptitude Test & Interviews were in Batches,Training wouldn't be an exception. No Shaking cos God is in Total Control! But I thought NIMC could've published all the Training Ready Applicants in one National Daily stating their States & dates of their slated Training. Any way sha they know bettter! |
I've done some thinking (personal),next Training Invite i.e 2nd Batch might be on 14th July to 27th while Sms Invite will enter on Weds 10th July, then 3rb Batch on 28 to 10 August etc. I did mine on 23rd April & my state starts wif 'E'. The possibility that the Training Invite is based on state alphabetically can't be ruled out. Is like this 1st Batch is frm Abia to Delta or to C i.e 10 or less States at a go. Just thinking oo & I stand to be corrected. I am confidence that by Monday Alas,Seigh & others of our trusted men will guide us all properly on the Training Invite based on their experience, socialising or inquiry. Once again congrats to u all that made First Batch! |
Congrats to all of you invited for Training & Interview as I am still waiting patiently on God for my Training invite. Did my Interview on 23rd April. Congrats Alas & co the Lord is Forever good! |
detunde: Nairalanders, i got an invite for Nimc interview for 28th. Can someone give an idea of how long the interview lasts? I wanna know if i can journey back same day. ThanksDetunde it depends on ur Interview Time,Batch & ur location. The protocols i.e ushering in,credential arrangement & scrutiny etc takes bw 1 to 2 hours while the Interview proper lasts bw 45 minutes to 1 hr. I don't know 4 Experienced Officers. Good luck! |
Danyl: what u r saying is true,i heard d same thn frm an officer working wt nimc, infact the training myt b conducted at each state headquarter. I heard dt dos guys in d north has started col lectn der APL so dy can start Asap n because they dont have any registratn centers so dy av start earlier. One thn i knw is that in every rumour there is an element of truth especially in ds one. |

One thn i knw is that in every rumour there is an element of truth especially in ds one.The Training to be conducted in State Hqters for the Training seems probable while those suggesting it mightn't hold at all is not likely cos I am sure Enrollmt & Reg Officers need Training. Congrats to those of u guys hitting the NIMC Abuja Haven this week. It's well! |
Next tomorrow 22/06/13 will make it 2 months now NIMC started their Interview. If by 26th of this month nothing comes up in regard to Training or more Interviews, to me it simply means NIMC has lost focus & the whole thing likely last through next year. I've relaxed a bit in job hunt cos of this NIMC job. After that 26th no show I'll become a soldier again shooting at other jobs. |
They should kindly respect our choices during posting o. But this ple are unpredictable as what they did in the Aptitude Test might still happen. So long I am posted to my Geo-political zone i.e South East or South South I'll be ok,but if they carry one go Borno or other Boko Haram enclaves na suicide mission job be that o! The Training might hold in the 6 Geo-political zones plus Abuja if it will hold onces or in Abuja only esp if it'll be in Batches.God let thy will be done! |
wema2: 4 una mind so laughing at ur silliness wise up na naija we dey, I hav been following ur post since, me no go 4 test or interview but my appointment dey my hand now,You got it through the back door & u're not shy or ashamed washing ur dirty linings outside. When the real work starts everyone will prove his/her worth & how one manage to get the work 'll as well show. You can alway bite for friends but you can't chew for them.Hence, one can always help one get job,but 'll never help one do the work. We're not fools here if what u're saying is the truth you wouldn't be here wasting ur precious time in this thread. If someone promised u of APL that doesn't mean you've it now despite we're in 9ja cos only you can't do job meant about 2000 or 4000 Nigerians. Being in 9ja doesn't translate being a fool & noone here is one. Thank you! |
shiloh: Hi all...my sis jst finished her interview. She said it went very well. They were 10 of dem in her batch bt no1-3 did nt come. Also they were only two in her batch dat were enrolment officers...odas were diff positions. The questions were easy n d panels were very friendly and aiding some of dem by giving clues to answers(unlike ours wey dey stiff like no man businessThis is the recent encouraging update I've gotten for some times now. 1-3 not showing up proves it was based on pure merit cos anyone that lobbied for Invitation can't afford to miss except she/he is a super candidate that 'll be issued APL directly. And for 1 to 3 not showing up is an opportunity that more ple will be invited soonest to cover the vacuum cos Fed Interview is not usually pure screening but to fulfil all righteousness. Once you've been invited for interview,u've 90% of picking the job except it's miliatry or para military job. Cos the Interview questions are too cheap for anybody that passed the Aptitude Test to fail. |
wema2: I got my appointment letter today o, nimc una too gbaski baba God I fank uFor ur mind or u're having Malaria attack? It's Training first b4 Appointment Letter ok,except only you did the Training or ur DG or GEJ sister u're dreaming. This is a Federal Job involving Federal Character-when what u're insinuating happens at least one National Daily will carry the full list of Successful Applicants or at least the news. Don't dare joke with this affair pls! Thank you for pulling people's leg or rather creating undue attention to ur noble self! |
shikshark: not good to blow the horn in the forum the method might be changed....... 08156945435 If u care to knowGuy na woah for you o! When we blew our own horn during April I know u might've benefitted frm it, but now you want blew whisttle by dropping ur mobile. People are funny o! As for me keep it to urself I wish u the best! Na now u come dude! The syst remain the same. U heard any gist at all in regards to when they're rounding-off the Interviews? |
Matters seem to be getting worse cos once people gets invite for Interview, having gotten much from this thread they're not kind enough to share their experience/infor cos they will disappear to appear again when they need another infor. What a life! My thesis stands if by Friday noone is willing to tell us what she/he sensed or experienced at NIMC Hqtrs. |
shiloh: She knows someone dat did, like I said,I don't want to give too much details. But dis is d reality on ground...although not everybody is on recommended list bt majority are and some few r on merit. There was never a time we ruled out this possibility. Na 9ja we all dey but our prayers should remain this- let Merit reach 60% or more while others 40% or less. God is invoved & remain our strengths hence,we must succeed! |
shiloh: Meanwhile, there is hot GIST about NIMC. Dis info am giving here, though I won't go too deep is very authentic. Apparently,d roles bn called for interview dis wk are recommended list ie,senators, ministers etc candidates. Am still in shock since I hrd dis info. My sis came visiting today, and u all knw she is to do her's dis wk and what she told me is mind blowing. Hmmm...NIMC, I don't knw what to say again o bt I know my God dat started dis journey for me will see me to d end. Peace out and best of luck to all of us anticipating!@Shilo this ur infor is not too clear o,though I suspected this current Lists to be doctored (not all o) because roles called is not organised like previous ones as it's like almost all the roles were called again secretly. Pls do share more light....It's normal so long as we're in Nigeria,no cause for alarm as the vacancies is too big to contain this tendency as well as merit. |
Congrats everybody! From the way it stands now i.e next week interview invitees even include positions called already-shows they're making up for perceived lapses or inadequacies & proves our much debated point that NIMC is not playing with merit except if this new invitees ''pressed some bottons'' which is unlikely. This NIMC vancancy might run into 6,000 cos they sacked about 4,000 staff then plus 1,700 advertised. Training no go pass August o! We must get the original akpako this week cos many of our men will hit NIMC HQTRS. |
THIS MIGHT BE ANOTHER REASON FOR NIMC DELAY!!! Abuja – The Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) said it arrested 41 officials with fake credentials at a promotion exercise conducted by the National Identification Management Commission (NIMC). This is contained in a statement signed by the ICPC’s Head of Media, Mr Folu Olamiti, and made available to newsmen on Thursday in Abuja. According to the statement, the arrest was made during the presentation of additional certificates claimed to have been acquired by the officials for upgrading of their status. The statement said that the preliminary vetting carried out by NIMC through the Ministry of Education indicated that some of the tertiary institutions contacted to verify their certificates, confirmed the certificates to be fake. It added that some were altered and some were not graduates of the institutions they claimed. “One of the suspects presented a certificate which was “doctored” to indicate Second Class degree rather than the earned Third Class degree. “Others presented forged certificates whereas they still had pending carry- overs. “Preliminary investigations by ICPC indicated that some of the certificates emanated from some of the illegal degree awarding mills and outreach centres recently sealed by ICPC,’’ the statement said. It said that the commission was further probing the complicity of those involved in the graduation of one of the suspects with a degree in Engineering from an approved university who could not express himself in writing. ICPC advised tertiary institutions yet to respond to the earlier inquiries sent to them by the Federal Ministry of Education to do so immediately. The statement quoted ICPC Chairman, Mr Ekpo Nta as commending NIMC Management for its zero tolerance for corruption in its workforce given the sensitive national assignment it was charged with. The arrest and interrogation of the NIMC officials is coming in the wake of ICPC/ NUC crack-down on illegal degree awarding mills nationwide. (NAN) |
We might not get any update from this week's Interview outside the one in NIMC job site or others cos it's not entry level position but experienced positions & we all know this Ogas barely have time for social net working. |
This NIMC thread is gradually degenerating to free for all fight or cold war arena or rather the meeting of the ten blind men with the elephant. They way most people are pouring acerbic vituperation on those who have done their interview & who are only expectant of next stage of the exercise is uncalled for.Neither is the way those who ve done their Interview is fighting back too is justified.NO VICTOR,NO VANQUISH fellow Nairalanders! Lets shealth our swords & face the real biz which is collectively tracking NIMC events as the unfold. The Training might never hold at once as most ple here think but in Batches just like the Interview. Let they ple wey go for an Interview this week nak us the latest akpako that's my stand! ONE LOVE! |
To me,may be 6 photocopies were unnecessary duplication of functions, may be that's why it was reduced to 2 photocopies from May Batch to this June Batch. We that did in April,I even questioned the rationality within me as they hardly go through them. Even the Interviewers never made use of them. There's no cause for alarm bros! |
From the look of things right now NIMC is a bit under Pressure by calling this large roles once though still all of them combined is still smaller than Enrollment Officers. But why didn't they update their site about the May Batch which could've helped everybody to know the job role remaining only do so this June? Something is missing here/there! Which is either this is the last set or the Third set .Any way I believe this guys will get us the latest infor after their interview. |
prettyeyo: Wou would you rather take Nimc over Gtbank? I'm having difficulties choosing btw nimc and a bank! Pls help convince me guys..Thanks.Banking job to me is a corporate imprisonment that can't compare FG work. But a bird at hand worth two in the bush,go for the GTB Training first hoping to abscond when NIMC calls you. Do enjoy the Training! |
desmondoo: wot position did u aply? Wot were u askd and wot did u answr?Na Enrolment Officer. It's group something the ones that fall to us were,4 states in 9ja that got their name frm River,6 Geo pol zones & 4 states in each,ur strength, weakness, why u think u deserve the job etc. As for what I answered, i done dey enter JAMB que oooo....... |
hakimi: I wish you guyz all the best!! I applied for Customer Service Officer but now I have been offered a job with National Defence College Abuja. I am resuming Monday 3rd June, 2013; I wish u guys well in your NIMC interview and subsequent job offer.Congrats Bro! |
For those going for INTERVIEW this week! Come out of the ivory tower while in Abuja, socialise with ur co-competitors,exchange mobile nos,BB pin etc cos u never know who 'll go in 1st in order to get the killer clue. Though they will tell u ple not to divulge ur Interview questions to others-help ur brothers o. Collect the gate men mobile no(s) if not for anything to know when or days interviews are conducted for that is the only thing they're privileged to know . During mind I didn't do any of the above, but now I realised it was necessary & could be of help to u ple. I wish you ple the BEST OF THE BEST LUCKS! |
). Said dey will hear from NIMC soon.
