NOBODY is cowed,victimised or vilidified here over Nairaland isssues. All this derailment & denigrating brouhaha are figment of people's imagination or rather hallucination.NIMC rather appreciates our brotherhood in Nairaland as this helps them to know & assess the public perception regarding the Recruitment Processes,to me NIMC rather appreciates our commendations,condemnations as well as criricisms as this help them to strategies more objectively on how best to fasten the whole the exercises.

To be frank with everyone I've benefitted much from this thread in terms of people's comments ,opinoins as well as criticisms. I've even made better friends like Dafe. Thus, it will amounts to wickedness,selfishness & ingratitude on my part not t o objectively & reasonably share with others what they should know,douse their fears from pieces of information which might not be absolutely truth gleaned from the Mgt advice,comments & hints.

The real truth is that this Training goes beyond our imaginations & it's multi-dimentional, encompassing & vast.Like my Senior colleaque Emmy rightly said with NIMC & most public offices 2day ''It's no longer business as usual where one lazily engages in civil service''(I RESPECT EMMY.THIS PIECES OF ADVICE FROM THE MASTER PIECE IS THE BEST EVER). Most of us here usually ask questions more than people could comfortably answer. And at times our reactions to opinion(s) OR rather answers has muted many not NIMC .

Asking for A to Z of the NIMC Training will be a bit difficulty. In facts, it's like asking your partner in Exam to tell you the whole story of one of the questions u forgot. He can't cos of time & concentration not even competition,but if u ask him to remain you a part of the story you forgot he'll tell u within seconds & moves on with his/her own.If u're asking about the Training Processes,Requirements,Do & Don'ts or chances of those yet to be called for Training we can within seconds feed you the infor based on hints not real facts.

Telling u ple A to Z of the NIMC Training & NIMS Project it will amounts to writing a whole book & most of us here are not good writers ,plus time & concentration. If I tell you the Training Questions It'll rather make you lazy rather than prepare u for the task ahead,besides if the questions are changed cos NIMC staff are not unaware of that possibilty,I'll become ur worst enemy.

The NIMC Training for sure is Resourceful,educating,motivating & can change anyone's life & perception for the better. The Lectures are diligently,professionally & humanely delivered for every Trainees understanding. And the Questions are strictly based on those Lectures & Practicals.

The entire Mgt of NIMC from the Cleaner to the DG exhibits die-hard hard working attitude,professionalism,result oriented.Take note! I am not saying this cos I am more futurnate or opportuned than others neither I am sycophant cos I belief one injustice somewhere affects justice everywhere. I like hitting the hammer at the nail head no matter whose ox is gored.

Let us all keep the LOVE,NIMC is not & 'll never be against the Freedom of Information permissible under the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria though Secrecy (absolute dumbness in handling Information exept for National Interest) is NIMC de facto core Value.

From a critical perspective & objective reasoning based on my current experience with NIMC. No role will be issued automatic Appointment Letters without Training even if it's 2days cos NIMC is Federal Govt Parastatal with the mind-set,mien & gut of a Private Firm or Sector which an outsider mightn't understand. Hence,the need for Training(Indoctrination).

This Training can change anybody for the better & secrecy is part of the required ATTITUDES. If I've been mute for sometimes now I hope u guys sincerely understand.

They current Trainees who made the final List will be drafted to the State Enrolment Centers while the Remaining many uncalled will be drafted to the LGAs in phases.

It'll interest some to note that some ple who applied for Enrolment Officer (LG) & Monitoring where also re-drafted to Enrolmt Officers (State). So NIMC knows better what made it so.

I don't share the idea that NIMC 'll give the Trainees APL 2moro till they're done wif the whole Training. Any folks wif similar or real idea?

From all indication(s) so far-Seighbenz & co can't just go into hiding without a cogent&plausible reason(s). And I've come to the conclusion that some NIMC staff,even the DG might've infiltrated this forum,warning Trainees that any FIM from them,they'll be shown a way out.

I am not trying to instil fear into any person as this is my personal opinion. May be or may not too much reading of Detective novels is having its paranoid toil on me.

I'll see things for myself soonest. DAFE I am looking forward to seeing u face-to-face on Sunday by the special grace of God.

naanamee: Good day House, let me share this news I got frm an inside source: the pple on training are already employed except if they failed to show, and they would resume work immediately after their training. This was necessicated cos of the need to kick start d process of reg and some States have more need for these officers than others, so if u have not received ur training schedule now even though others from ur batch of interview did, does not mean u failed the interview or wouldn't be called, its simply based on need from ur state, and my source told me they would employ abt 4500 pple, and they haven't even reached half of it, there would be more invites for interview and training in d future, so guys relax no shaking.. And 2 new dept in d HQ are supposed to open with new staff. Hope this alleviates most pple concerns. That's all I was told. Happy Sunday to y'all. One luv.

This ya post is like a light in a Tunnel to us all esp our colleaques waiting for Interview & Training though ur post will have more meaning on Saturday when this guys @ Training 'll update us whether they got the Appointmt Letters or not.

The sms Training issue also looks like this-some of us opted for states outside our State of Origin while others choosed their own states. Could this be reason(s) why some are yet to get their Training sms?

@ Mowin u're in order! This recruitmt process is only permissable in Countries wif high rate of unemploymt like ours. It's almost a year this exercise started(7 months now),if it's countries wif high employmt rate most us could've gotten better offer else where leaving NIMC wif no or lesser best hands to absolve except they fast track their process.

Lets all hope for the best! God is our strengths......

@ all,how reliable is this NIMC job especially for Enrol and Reg officers say 2years after when most Nigerians would have been registered?Won't the issue of redundancy set in?

Lastly someone dropped a post last week that he/she is still at Okene as at 1pm,please is there any penalty for those that came after 12pm on Sunday for the accreditation?

This na FG work(civil service) which has approved Salary structure. Most FG work 4 our Entry Level i.e Grade Level 8 is bw 87-100k. So mk inquiries.

As for redundancy after 2 yrs,the Enrollmt is only 4 16yrs & above & ple are turning 16 yearly,like Dafe said one can't aspire to remain Enrollment Officer in the next 3yrs.

1.if u know that ur the unserious or nonchalant type of person, plz stay at home, 4get training.

2.if u knw that u cant tolerate the uncomfortable part of other pple, 4get abt training.

3.if u are a gluton, 4get it.

4.if u knw that ur d type that sleeps and wake up by 10a.m every mornin, my dear, bye bye. Late comin is prohibited in training.

5.if u be drunkard.. Bye bye.

6.if u like quarel.. Bye bye.

7.if u be tif... Bye bye 4rm training.

8.if u knw ur highly allergic (easily iritated) by an air-conditioning system. I PITY YOU.

9.4d ladies, abeg, NIMC is the last place u shud tink of finding a husband... All the men are already taken, so pls learn to dress conservatively.. If u make it to training.

10. The training would be so exciting 4u, If u know what it takes to pass any course in the university....

And last of all b4 i hibernate ones again 4rm dis thread...i want to say that Whatever written test or practical assessment given 2u during the training, just knw that the success rate of that is nothing compared to BEHAVIOURAL ASSESSMENT, carried out when tranees are concious or unconcious...(hope u knw what CCTV means)

dandutse01: Gud evening houz, a friend of mine who is curently undergoing the training ping me that they are done with the lecture part of the training, they also had a test today, and by tomorow, they will start the practical aspect of the training, when I enquire more explanation from him, he refused t tl me. I hope this will help, concerning the dress code, he said u can put on the one you like, also he said they accomodate them in a hotel 2 psns per room, they wake up by 6:30am prepared and wait for a bus, which use to come by 9am convey them to the training site and bring them back to the lodge by 7pm, he also added that they give them food 4 times daily

God bless you bro u've said it all. With this type of schedule I think one can squeeze out 20 minutes for Nairaland. No big deal! Logically the Practical will be repetion of the Theory & the exam will be Friday next week. I no easy o!

shiloh: My dear this is how I think d human mind works @ least from my OWN perspective. It might be that they r certain requirements that was expected from them when they got there and telling us about it might give us an edge over them. Its a normal human trait which everyone of us have,so I can't say I blame dem on dat one! On the other hand,since they r d first set,am sure the trainers are likely to drill n instill fear in them making it look like d training is a life n death thing and also a thing of competition,so dey will want to put in their best @ least to excel. This just goes to show dat,getting the TRN sms is nt d end,d end is when u receive ur APL. So I indulge all dose who r yet to go for TRN to give it their best shot when dey go there!. @tontons,how's ur friend doing now? Hope he is better. Pls tell him nt to think too much. I believe all dose still expecting interview n Trn sms will get it. Just ve faith..it will come. Best of luck to us all.

My sis & Dafe u ple're right! Some thing is weird & really wrong somewhere which they think if we got to knw we'll have upper hand cos NIMC has intelligently call it further assessmt to make every Applicant serious & mute.

Alas has time to tell us he has no time to toast a gal,but for the Training matter NO TIME. I'll not condemn them o cos I never know whether the NIMC dumbness will call up wif me too.

So under this attitude''Everyman for himself,God for us all''. Let those going 4 Training next weekend arm themselves just like the days of Aptitude Test & Interview cos it never over untill it's over-Corporate Attire (though NIMC supposed to provide Training Kit like Polo,face cap,short etc to easily differentiate the Otondos frm the Atandas),ur credentials,writing materials etc might not be a bad idea.

Gal I Tire o. I know for sure the Facilitator(s) should be KPGM-Dress code matter,personal effects,what the Training is briefly about or clue etc should've been as clear as Day break by now.

Any way sha may be we wouldn't understand till we get there-Lets give them more time & benefit of doubt.Is well!

Alas & Seigh we need an insight or clue as to the content of this Training. I know it's Theory & Practical frm the look of things. Or should we make it a Camera things?

With due respect I'm not abusing you oo I'm just reminding you that some people that applied for enrollment and registration monitoring officer(lg) are still expecting invite for interview.

Lanre6 you're simply mixing things up, Enrollment & Registration Monitoring Officers (LG or State) should be supervising Enrollmt & Reg Officer which is subordinate to d post u applied.

Any position yet to be called must be called even if after the Training cos NIMC starts with the ones they urgently need to kick start the exercise nation wide. Ur faith will see you through. Good luck!

It's patient bros & sis'-from my point of view 300 to 400 i.e Batch A-D Enrollment Officers might be for States while the remaining many uncalled yet might be drafted for the LGAs. I know Enrollment Officers should be bw 900-1200 across the Federation since State Hqters shd take bw 8-15 Enrollment Officers & we have 774 LGAs.

Where NIMC & almost all Nigerian employers are getting it all wrong is not keeping its prospective employees abreast with their methods,criteria,chances or otherwise at the detriment of the Applicant's health,happiness etc.

So for sure 400 Officers or thereabout can never be enough. Greater sms must roll in bw 10th this month to month end (personal opinion based on objective facts). All everybody need now is more prayer & patient.

I only made comments to give explanations and douse worries when i noticed some people were agitated and needed clarifications concerning their positions. Any Enrollment Officer that didn't get his/her sms should still 've hope cos this first Trainees might be 4 state officers while the remaining might beTrained in their respective States assigned LGAs later on cos 300 or 400 Enrollment Officers shouldn't be enough for this novel Project the 1st of its kind in Africa.

There must be fourth,even fifth Training Batches cos from the look of things it's only the April 22nd to 26th Interview Invitees that're currently undergoing Training. So if you did urs in May Or June & have gotten urs(sms) do indicate as a test of my hypotheses.

Is like u're new to this Thread,They were the first set of ple to be called for Interview bw 22 April to 26th,May & even this June.

Enrollment Officers are at Training Stage right now which starts 2moro 1st July. It's of humble opinion that this helps!
