gartamanta:You tag anything you don't want to believe as fake news |
sean1000x:may thunder fire you if you protest when an apc governor is installed |
HIGHESTPOPORI:Don't underestimate the power of rigging. if people obey the electoral boycott order of ipob, what stops apc from importing voters and mobilizing the hausa community in anambra state to vote the election. |
The call to boycott elections in anambra is the most thoughtless decision ever made by the ipob. It reeks of a high level of stupidity and will be not happen in my state. If it happens, politicians from any part of the country could easily send voters to participate and impose their own candidate. And when a candidate who doesn't have the Interest of the people at heart takes over, it could lead to civil unrest and violence in the state. By then the eyes of the people will be opened and there will be nothing to do about the situation. I advise my fellow anambra people to participate in the elections to avoid stories that touch. I'll try my best to convince anambarians around me to vote and I expect every sane IGBO citizen to do the same. |

safiaapussy:Yorubaboon, keep masturbating over recycled Evans news while ritualists have a field day reducing the population of the South West. |
I can't see any eastern governor apart from rochas |
famosh:asshat,we both know you'd have different views if mass suicides were a thing during the past administration. |
koldej:no,his style of governance brought about an increase in cost of living,as a result of this, life has become unbearable for poor Nigerians who now see suicide as their only escape. but as usual punks like you will never understand what I typed because you feel that APC is Hausa and Yoruba party. |
famosh:slowpoke, take a look at nairaland's front-page and report your observations. cost of living has increased astronomically, those who can't cope are now looking for quick ways to end their misery and you feel that the president should not be blamed because of your useless tribalistic views |
kinda looks like Tim Burton's version of the batmobile. |
MEILYN:You have no problem listening to songs with lyrics like "i like your miniskirt, i go chook you chuku chuku, skiboroboskibo, zaggadat" so you have no right to complain. |
Why all the negative comments? The song is not that bad. Beat is nice, He only needs to increase the lyrical content. |
MisterLomantic:Yorubaboon calling someone else a criminal. Maybe ajibade rasheed the human parts hawker is also ipob. |
HungerBAD:Make sure you donate nothing less than $10,000 https://www.gofundme.com/honour-sergeant-chukwudi-iboko |

Kestolove:Ritualist |
Akshow:Everyone knows who the real ritualists and human parts dealers are in Nigeria. Only yesterday your brother, ajibade rasheed was caught hawking human heads and genitals in the hinterlands of osun. |
Rapists and ritualists are everywhere on this thread. anyway these useless groups should shut up already. they keep giving themselves a false sense of importance when nobody cares about their useless opinion. How many times will uhrobo groups release statement in a week? |
greymiles:Dude come in here https://www.nairaland.com/3852087/alfa-caught-human-head-vagina/2 |
olusipimp:Yorubaboon, that happened over a decade ago which means that such acts have been totally abolished from igboland. Yorubas on the other hand, still hawk human heads like gala in Southwestern states. Only 3 days ago ajibade Rasheed was caught selling human heads and vaginas on the streets of osun. |
greymiles:This picture was taken a decade ago, which means that such activities don't take place in igboland anymore. but yorubas on the other hand still practice such barbarism in this day and age. Earlier this week, your brother was caught hawking human heads and vaginas. |
Alariwo2:Yorubaboon, at least we don't sell fresh/frozen human heads and body parts to make money. neither do we invade graves to mine decomposing skulls and skeletons. It has become really obvious that yorubas now see graveyards as mineral sites where natural resources(skulls) are gotten. |
greymiles:At least we don't sell human heads and genitals or mine skulls from graves. |
I see rapists and ritualists masturbating all over the thread. |
Story highlights Teen allegedly encouraged boyfriend to commit suicide, according to prosecutors Michelle Carter will be tried by a judge in Massachusetts courtroom (CNN) Almost three years ago, Massachusetts teenager Conrad Roy III was found dead from carbon monoxide poisoning in his pickup truck in a Kmart parking lot. His girlfriend posted grieving messages on social media and raised money in his name for mental health awareness. His friends and family lamented a young life cut short by suicide. But before long prosecutors came up with another, more sinister, theory about what happened. And within months they indicted the girlfriend, saying they had discovered numerous text messages from her urging Roy to kill himself. Michelle Carter, who was 17 at the time, goes on trial this week in a Taunton, Massachusetts, courtroom on involuntary manslaughter charges. She waived her right to a jury trial Monday, meaning her case will be decided by a judge who will hear testimony and render a verdict. Boston defense attorney Peter Elikanntold CNN affiliate WFXT that lawyers and legal scholars are watching the case closely because it could set a legal precedent. "At the moment, there's really no law on the books in Massachusetts about whether somebody can encourage somebody to commit suicide or not," he said. https://image.nola.com/home/nola-media/width960/img/crime_impact/photo/michelle-carter-1c55bbb7d44c5987.jpg Carter, now 20, is being tried as a youthful offender because she was a minor when her alleged crime took place. Opening statements are scheduled to begin Tuesday morning. 'YOU NEED TO DO IT CONRAD' Roy, 18, was found dead in his truck on July 13, 2014, in Fairhaven, Massachusetts. Police say he used a combustion engine to fill the cabin with carbon monoxide. The day before, authorities say, Carter had urged him to go through with his plan to commit suicide. "You need to do it, Conrad," Carter told Roy in a text message the morning of July 12, according to a document disseminated by the Bristol County District Attorney's Office. "You're ready and prepared. All you have to do is turn the generator on and you will be free and happy," she reportedly wrote. "No more pushing it off. No more waiting." According to the District Attorney's office, Roy drove that day to the Kmart parking lot, nearly 40 miles from his home. At one point, he got out of his truck and spoke to Carter for more than 40 minutes on the phone, telling her that he was having second thoughts about taking his life, prosecutors said. But she told him to get back into the car, according to the document. CNN has reached out for comment from Carter's legal team but has not heard back. In 2015 Carter's attorney, Joseph Cataldo, told CNN that evidence will show she had attempted to console Roy on many occasions and had advised him to seek professional help. "My heart goes out to the family, but this was a young man who planned this for months and months," Cataldo said. 'YOU FALL ASLEEP AND DIE' In the months following Roy's death, Carter organized a charity softball tournament and raised $2,300 money for mental health awareness in his honor. But as police investigated, they found hundreds of text messages between Carter and Roy. In one text message, Carter allegedly counseled Roy on exactly how to commit suicide using carbon monoxide. "If you emit 3200 ppm of (carbon monoxide) for five or ten minutes you will die within a half hour," she wrote. "You lose consciousness with no pain. You fall asleep and die." Carter was indicted in February 2015. Her trial was delayed earlier this year at the request of the defense. Youthful offenders are tried in juvenile court, but the proceedings are public. CNN's Ray Sanchez and Dominique Debucquoy-Dodley contributed to this report http://edition.cnn.com/2017/06/05/us/texting-suicide-case-trial-begins/index.html?sr=fbCNN060517/texting-suicide-case-trial-begins/index.html1034PMStoryLink&linkId=38386827 |

LAGOS— A young man, who attempted to steal a fan from a branch of The Redeemed Christian Church of God, Onifade Town, Ayobo area of Ogun State yesterday, was apprehended. The suspect, identified as Dele, told the mob that almost lynched him that he stole the fan because he needed money to buy gari, rice and palm oil. He reportedly walked into the church, unplugged one of the standing fans from a wall socket and took it away. One of the church workers, who had gone to clean the auditorium prior to an evening meeting, sighted the suspect coming out with the fan. The stranger’s behaviour arouse the church worker’s curiosity. When he demanded to know where the stranger was taking the item to, the latter took to his heels, consequent upon which an alarm was raised. https://d19lga30codh7.cloudfront.net/wp-content/uploads/2017/05/man-fan-steals.jpg Dele and the fan The suspect, as gathered, attempted to board two commercial motorcycles with a view to escaping from the scene. The third one, rather than pick him, according to eyewitnesses, held him until the mob caught up with him. In the course of interrogation, he revealed that he came from Kaka area of Ayobo, pleading to be pardoned. An eyewitness, who gave his name as Badmos Gbamgboye, said: “He threw away the fan when the second motorcyclist he tried to board refused to wait. It was the third motorcyclist that held him. “When he was asked why he chose the church, he said he felt that members would forgive him if caught. He said that his intention was to sell the stolen fan so he can buy food to eat. “He said in Pidgin English ‘I wan use the money buy yam, gari, rice and palm oil for house because I dey hungry ’.” However, he was stripped naked and forced to carry the stolen fan on his head. He would have been lynched but for the intervention of some church’s members. http://www.vanguardngr.com/2017/05/man-steals-lagos-churchs-fan-buy-gari-rice-palm-oil/ |
