Qudkom:

Lagos or Abuja.

IOM in lagos will charge approximately 41k
Qlife will charge 35k.

Qlife where I did mine- 0702 770 4055 or 08113975433

You will go along with medical instruction letter, passport and passport photograph×6 (to be on the safe side)

You will undergo chest Xray, blood test for HIV and syphilis, urine test ans general medical checkups (eye test, bp, height and weight etc)

After that a doctor will interview you and ask general questions about past health histories. Tell you to lie down on a bed and check your abdomen, eyes and tongue.

I recommend Qlife very professional. And please get there id possible by 7:30am.

Thanks bro, can I go there tomorrow without booking appointment?

Hello
This is to my fellow May/June/ July applicants. What can really be done for this people to actually attend to our applications.. When I applied last year July, I was thinking this Canadian student permit was a first come first serve procedure, but its obvious I was totally wrong.. Peeps applying 2 months ago are already getting approvals, while ours is still being ignored.. What can really be done to make changes, cos its really tiring and frustrating for ur application to be 8-10 months without any response form them.. And please no one should get me wrong when i said peeps that apply 2 months ago are getting approvals, am not envious of them(at all, its actually giving me hope of my approval) but if they were in our shoes, they will feel same.. So my fellow comrades what can really be done for us to see changes.. Does any one have direct social contacts of the immigration minister or prime minister for us to vent our complains, or what can really be done... Please lets come up with a suggestion and follow suit.. Cos the truth be told, this wait is getting annoying to be honest.. Peace

This is not fair. I feel your pain badly. Maybe you should try going to the VAC to lay a complain, look for any top person there that might be willing to help, I feel those guys too have little power. This is totally not fair but I pray goodnews comes out from these applications

TRV processing time update 29/03/2019

Hey Nairaland Family,

We now have a sample of 22 hopefuls!

Please I would encourage those that have applied this year to share their timeline (whether you're a new or re-applicant, Application Route, School Resumption Date, Application Date, Biometrics Request Date, Biometrics Done Date, Medical Request, Medicals Done, Medicals Passed, PPR or the Current Status of your application). If you don't have all this information, you can just share the ones that you have and update the rest as you receive it.

This information would help us study or attempt to establish a pattern to how CIC operates. (Please note that the calculated estimates are just averages based on the little sample we have. Your processing time may be faster or slower than the average)

For those that have already submitted their timeline, kindly share if you are a new applicant or a re-applicant. Also, please share when you are expected to resume school. This would help us understand if there is a relationship between processing time and resumption date. (Cc Dedecoder, Godatwork23, Oni2019, Damlovey, Yacha77, docsaj, TheAfrikan, 2roodi, Oluwaseunbd, Bodineros, Klem28, AA07, Trishaben, Omarzx, ify85, Samolala2019, umulobi, Mykaelolalekan, Oyalfares)

Finally, If there is anything you think i should add to the data or calculate from the data or present the data so that it is more understandable, please share with me.

Applied online 18th of March, re-application. Biometric N/A and school to resume September. You are doing a wonderful thing and surely wonderful things will come your way

I know of an applicant who used an E-statement for his application simply because the sponsor resides overseas and his application was approved. Certainly, you can do same as it's also acceptable by IRCC. However, I would prefer you go through the online application route.

Thanks boss

Please is it advisable to use an E-statement generated through Mobile App, instead of going through the Nigerian bank stress

I am sorry for your delay. what was the initial reasons for denial before you ordered your GCMS notes?. Did the Notes shed some more light as to why you were denied,or was just generic?. This might help people that are not convinced that the notes are of any good.

If I can read correctly, your notes says " The applicant completed a bachelor's degree in biochemistry in 2015 and has been working since April 2018"- 3 years gap, what were you doing for those years?.

" He now wants to start a three year program in chemical engineering techniques at the Mohawk College at an estimated cost of 26,284 Cad/year. The applicants letter of motivation is succinct and vague; it does not demonstrate the relevance of such studies at such a cost in Canada"- I think all this matter should have been properly explained in your SOP.

Finally, at least you know why you have been denied a visa, do the needful and reapply. May Your destiny lead and guide you.

Good luck

I was denied based on travel history and purpose of visit. I just finished my youth service last year, the gap shouldn't be that much for me, what do you think please?

Sorry about the denial. The VO is quite blunt though but that is because you were not convicing enough.
How many months have you being working prior to your submission?
You were working in what field?
How many pages was your letter of motivation?
What was your reason (s) for choosing to go for that course?
Letter of motivation, as I know, is always a short letter and why did you choose to write letter of motivation instead of Statement of Purpose or Personal statement?

Letter of motivation here is the same as SOP I wrote but it was very short(single page), my fault though. The course I'm going for is quite related to my bachelor's degree course though I made 2.2. I chose chemical engineering because I've always had interest in industrial production and drug production, uses, action and effects of drugs(pharmacology), I even had my industrial training in a producing company. The VO misunderstood a 3 months computer program I was doing as a job. Please can getting an US visiting visa help in tackling lack of travel history in my own case? This Canada process is just so stressful cry cry
Travel / Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 15 by ghabrhiel10: 7:32am On Oct 30, 2018
No evidence of travel history presented. The applicant completed a bachelor's degree in biochemistry in 2015 and has been working since April 2018. He now wants to start a three year program in chemical engineering techniques at the Mohawk College at an estimated cost of 26,284 Cad/year. The applicants letter of motivation is succinct and vague; it does not demonstrate the relevance of such studies at such a cost in Canada. Therefore for all the reasons mentioned above, I am not satisfied that the applicant is a bona-fide student who meets the requirements of the IRPA and who will leave Canada at the end of his/her authorized stay. Request rejected

You're correct sir frank, the last notes 1 and 2 towards the ending part of the gcms notes contains all info about my application which I already shared the screen shot that didn't appear clear, but the explanation for my refusal is not still included there

REPLY THEN AS FOLLOWS:

The decision of the visa officer based to refuse my visa application based on the the PURPOSE OF VISIT is purely an arbitrariness which the Canadian law does not allow. Please see "Demyati v. Canada (Citizenship and Immigration), 2018 FC 701 paragraph 21 when the court ruled as follows: " "Without a doubt, visa officers need to be satisfied that the applicant will return to her/his country of origin before the expiration of the visa. That requirement permeates IRPA and its Regulations. However, conversely, our law does not allow for decisions to be made on an arbitrary basis. That is why even a standard such as that of reasonableness requires justification, transparency and intelligibility such that the reviewing court can ascertain if the decision reached falls within a range of possible, acceptable outcomes. In my view, this case lacks the kind of justification required by our law. The visa officer did not give his/her facts and evidence to support his/her position to doubt my purpose of the visit after I have clearly shown my purpose in my application and the letter addressed to him/her as an SOP.
Also, I made a clear declaration in my application that the only purpose of going to Canada is to study and nothing more. I am surprised that the VO overlooked this declaration in total disregard to the court position in
Cao v Canada (Minister of Citizenship and Immigration), 2010 FC 941 at para 13 [Cao], “[t]he decision to submit the applicant’s declaration is not a banal gesture. The declaration is a clear statement that the applicant understands the consequences of overstaying his welcome in Canada, and for this reason, it will not happen.

As a law-abiding citizen of Nigeria and a born-again Christian/Muslim, I understand the consequence of not complying with the condition of my admission into Canada and it will not happen. I declare once again that I am a bonafide student who will definitely leave Canada after my authorized stay in Canada.

(Please include a court affidavit that you will comply with your admission into Canada and that you will return at the end of your authorised stay in Canada.
Thanks bros but I still find it weird that my own case wasn't explained cry

Evening House.

So, after waiting for 18weeks, CIC Kenya branch(lolz...), decide to wield their big stick of refusal. Mehn...this guys no dey fear God shaaa.

Refusal reasons were based on family ties in Canada & country of residence and purpose of visit.
I really dont get this guys, got admitted for MSc in Sociology, U of M. Have a Bsc in Sociology and currently working as a field officer in a development program. All family ties are here in Nigeria none whatsoever in Canada.

Guess my GCMS file will shade more light on the VO's point of reasoning.

Just thought I should update the house!

Sorry for the refusal, but the reasons these vo's give are quite unreasonable and selfish, just imagine after 18weeks all they could come up with is purpose of visit . Nigeria is the problem
God will do it for us all
