onismate:Mosquitoes ke? For where? Even if dem dey, AC no go allow them live beyond few hours ![]() |
GogobiriLalas:No mind some of them jare. How many people can afford paying between $5,000 to $50,000(medicine) on yearly basis for tuition fees? Meanwhile, you have got to pay electricity bill, water bill, phone top-ups, Internet bill, rent, all on monthly basis. Plus, road tax if you drive. That's why large % of the Nigerians studying in M'sia are the 'Hausas', many of whose parents are into some sorts of business(s) back home or occupying sorta government position(s) while most of the Yorubas and Igbos eat from the street. |
00francis:Well said, bro. Even those gainfully employed are earning low incomes considering the fact they have several bills and rent to pay every month; only if they have some post grad qualifications to ease things a little. Even at that, it's not unusual for a master degree holder to be offered 3K rm as a monthly pay with telecom coy, Maxis, Umobile, et al. The truth is, 80% of men are keyboardist, whereas 90% of Nigerian girls are 'Pay As You Go' call girls, even some of the self-acclaimed big women are the madams who are benefitting generously from the hard work and day & night toils of most of those girls. If you aren't financially gallant back home or your folks don't have millions to sponsor your education in Malaysia, going there with dreams of hitting/making it big is so slim as the air. The only chance you've got is belonging to the clique of 'happening guys', those are the guys who know their ways of making things happen and most of them have put in several years living in the country, they are the ones who live large in M'sia and the talks of the town. Traveling to M'sia based on hearsay or impulse being informed by the sweet words or stories of people hitting it BIG, by a longtime friend or acquaintance(s) could be suicidal. To back up the OP's assertion, it's undoubtedly true that a lot of guys languishing in pains at the detention camps as illegal immigrants were bulk of those who were at some points wrongly advised to travel to the country to pick up job offers which were, in reality, non-existent. If you must travel to Malaysia, your best route is education (student visa) and let go the idea of making it BIG as a student, or notion of being gainfully employed upon your arrival in the country. Whenever you find yourself in M'sia steer clear off coke (suji) or associating with bad characters who have no goals and future ambitions or directions with their lives; the former being the fastest route to the world beyond. Whatever your travel decisions are, always have 'Plan B', to cushion the effects of any unimaginable or unexpected, unforeseen occurrence(s) or situation(s). |

The fact is, there is absolutely more to the latest developments coming from the NNPC. I won't be surprised to find out that Nigerians have been deceived and sabotaged from enjoying surplus oil production for their daily needs/consumptions. Meanwhile, some top shots and high-profile office holders have been hugely profiting and benefiting from the widely accepted rumour that our refineries weren't in good shape to produce to their full capacities or functions. Also, the talk that 'fuel subsidy is a big scam' can't be discounted. Let's watch and see more dramas unfold in the next few days/weeks. |
Here's an excerpt from Tldinvestors' daily sales recap for 19/6/2015. Star.Casino sold for 10,000 Euros on Sedo, registered by someone in Denmark on May 31, 2015, not too bad for a 20 day old. Amazing! |

RapLawd:Bro, there are differences between constructive and destructive criticism. Your previous comment doesn't in any way sound constructive. BTW, I listened to your rap, keep it up. @Airforce1, a good start but there is always room for improvements. Wish you guys the very best in your endeavours. See you at the top! |
cococandy:You are clicking on the wrong button. I just explained it here https://www.nairaland.com/2391457/listen-one-songs-guys/5#34943156 |

Nice thread ![]() |
Our poor performances with our encounter with the Aussies marked the beginning of our downfall. If only we had played well like we did in our first game against the Swedes, we wouldn't have found ourselves in this mess. ![]() |
Sorry Nigerians, we lost it. I think we need more tactical and technical people in our technical crew. Most of these so-called coaches lack what it takes to lead a team to a great tournament as this, I even doubt if any of these guys attend any training or course to this effect. I wish the Nigerian government can invest in sport, most especially football, by setting up schools of football/training schools. If we must be great at the International level, there is a need for proper coaching of our talents, I believe this would also help in the discovery of more and better talents that could be groomed into superstars. Not just by inviting people into the team as a squad, just few weeks or months to a great tournament as this. We need proper teaching, lectures, grooming and training with no exception to our technical crew, in order to be able to catch up with the international standard and rub shoulders with counterparts from other nations. I wish our girls safe flight back home. |
Abeg where is Oshoala? Is she on the pitch at all? We are so bad, no game plan and coordination. That has been killing us from the onset of this tournament. ![]() |
Thats a foul that worths a yellow card, but since she's partial, I don't expect her to give the Yankees card. ![]() |
If na Naija she go don give yellow card. The referee is being partial. Now, she has given the Americans upper hand. Where is the fair play in this match? This is bad, Fifa. |
The referee is starting to be partial. This is bad ![]() |
Just look at the Yankees, see great connections. I wish same could be said of our girls ![]() |
We had our chances but our girls blew them all up. Oshoala should have netted the ball but she lost focus or her mind. Just a little effort from her would have see us through the first half with a goal ahead of the Yankee babes. Now, the second half would seems like a herculean task, cos the opponents aren't going to watch us equalise easily or lead them with goals. I really wished these girls could play with more determinations and tactic. We seemingly lack connection as far as going forward is concerned; worst still the first half should have ended with a goalless draw but our girls marred it with their insensitivity and poor defensive work, giving the Americans a lead over us. So sad |
And they scored us ![]() And that ends this first half These girls are bunch of disgrace. |
Why are these girls playing without purpose? |
Lord help our girls |
Don't fight... Don't fight |
Why leave opponents in your box unmarked, these girls don smoke weed oo |
Werey |
Segadem:Don't worry, Jesus came out of Nazareth, and we will come out of this game victorious by His grace. |
Dem don swear for Oshoala Just tip your ball up a little and that's it. We are beginning to lose chances, terribly bad ![]() |
