just2endowed:For the latest rate, I had no idea. I think there should be an auction this week Thursday. |
If you are not clear about this, and you got questions begging for answers. Do not hesitate to ask them, and of course via ceosparkle at gmail dot com Regards! GDreamz |
@proxillin If this happened to you some 12 years ago, by now you should be married. What are you still waiting for? Of course, there are still a few girls/ladies out there who are worth the commitments, love and supports. Sometimes, it takes time and God's divine intervention to find that special someone though. You just have to take your time, and wait patiently on the Lord to send the right guy/lady who's gonna be that missing bone of your ribs. Lately, there have been several news of burning vehicles, I think all auto drivers as well as other Nigerian petrol products users need to be careful where they source for their petroleum products nowadays. Who knows, the petroleum products might have been adulterated somehow or are not being properly or well-refined following the necessary stages/phases before being imported or transported to the Nigerian oil marketers who controls direct sales of fuel to the consumers on daily basis. I think there are needs for the FG or relevant bodies to investigate this, in order to reduce or outright halt these incessant and human-avoidable road mishaps or prevent further recurrence. |

Topman0001:If you go through my post, I stated clearly and I am restating it here - "I guess that's a good way of managing his financial assets". So, you see, forget your so-called paper Economics you did back then at your O'Level boy. When it comes to 'Real Money', not many people, by many people I'm of course referring to the stinky rich people. Many of those who have large collections of luxurious cars in their garage for the fun of it, and their maintenance culture is top notch, so many at times, they may decide to trade off any of those for a newer model or a car of better and more specs depending on the terms of sales and upgrade agreements between them and their auto sales guys. So, when I said trade, I wasn't talking in the context of the word trade in the typical terms of you buying just any type of an automobile vehicle and selling it for profit. Of course, he can't get the same value back on his investment, but I don't think that would hurt his pocket in any way considering the fact that he's got plenty of it, and not forgetting the fact that he would have used the car for some time, albeit with good maintenance in place. |
Kill him |
So long he doesn't drive them everyday, I guess that's a good way of managing his financial assets. He might wake up tomorrow and decides to trade off any of those luxurious automobiles and still command some good sales, since he rarely drives them. |
And that's personal conviction of heart, done by the 'Holy Spirit'. Thank God for gaining his soul. ![]() |
Going back to the office to slap the abusive boss will not cut it, if he had done that immediately when the slap landed on his cheek, that would have been more gracious and reasonable thing to do. If I were in his shoe, I really don't know what I would have done in such an awful situation, but I doubt if that would ever happen in civilized nations though. Only in Nigeria there are no employee rights act, where a head of a department or an employer would do such and go scot-free. One thing is sure though, your friend is not the first to have experienced such abusive treatment from a superior in an office or organization, and won't be the last if situation of things in Nigeria are not changed. A lot of cases bordering on abuses and assaults in a work place go unreported and many employees have had to sell off their rights to ensure a constant flow of income so as to keep body and soul together and ensure they have a paying job that can put the food on the table for their families. Otherwise, they stand the risk of being fired and sent back to the job-hunters market filled with millions of qualified but unemployed graduates. As regarding the said boss' conduct, it's so unethical of her to have slapped him, regardless of the situation on ground (except, if only she returned a slap initiated by your friend) and a plain assault on your friend's person. |
oluwamitomisin:It's a simple thing to do, from the text you copied from, there are two links detailing names of the early and recent NIV translators as mentioned by the writer of the letter. So, a little googling of their names (or in-depth research) should help allay your fears or eliminate those issues you are bothered with. |
I really don't see this as a tangible or valuable topic to be discussed, except if the sole purpose of this thread is to pull traffic. Like someone rightly posted, being a Christian is a spiritual affair; and as such having a personal relationship with God is what matter most. If you like know the full content of the original 'Bible' from A-Z that won't guarantee you a ticket to Heaven. I think you people should stop worrying yourselves unnecessarily on trivial, which might led to further confusions in the body of Christ or confuse your faith and stance in Christ Jesus. A thread like this will not do us any good, other than create confusions that are not necessary in the first instance, and could be used as an avenue or ground to mock Christianity and/or Christ - our savior by the unbelievers or atheists. As usual, expects the atheists and enemies of God to storm this thread soon. I pray the Lord opens their eyes and save their souls from destructions; for it is not by our own power nor by the level of our faiths or the works of our faith that we are saved but by his redemptive work of the salvation of our souls on the cross of Calvary, that he sent his only begotten son to die for our sins. Beloved, remain blessed in the love of Christ, Happy Sabbath. |
kestolove95:The above has justified the directive, so no one should see this as victimization, whatsoever. At least, a highest ranking officer at the various affected locations can man the affairs of the commissions pending when good replacements would be made to occupy those seats. |

Awesome, the power of money. The kids are lucky. |
Nice piece. Meanwhile, those are ways a pro-blogger can make money and not for the newbies. Of course, with exception to Google ads which isn't an easy feat, save you have a content-rich blog with high traffic. Paid ads only work for established or matured blogs, customers or your would be clients are interested in conversions if your blog has no good amount of followers or readers, then it got no values advertisers are looking for. msmon: LEADERSHIP learnt that the late policeman had just been redeployed back to his former position at the FCT Police Command, where he was in charge of posting of junior officers.Until his death he was in-charge of posting junior officers. The question is, while he was being deployed to the Aso Villa, who was in-charge of that post? I believe the post wouldn't have been left unoccupied all along, which means for him to have been redeployed back to occupy same, would have seen someone else vacating the post for him. In that case, the killing may not be unconnected to his other colleagues at the FCT Police Command. I'm not saying the person is the assailant, but in this case, a stone shouldn't be left un-turned to uncover the whole truth behind his murder. Lord, grant his family fortitude to bear the irredeemable loss. |

@Yomieluv; Bringing this to NL shows you really don't know what exactly you want in a marriage yourself; which means you are indecisive of where you stand in the situation. If I were you, I wouldn't let that day go by without sitting her down and expressing my stand to her on the issue. I believe for you to have decided you want to settle down with her, you two must have been together for some months if not years. How come you haven't seen the traces, the tendencies or likelihood of her returning back to her old vomits? It shows, she was never really interested in Christianity but only practices it because of the uncle she was staying with at the time you both met. You are lucky to have seen her praying the Muslim way, and I think for the good of yourself, your unknown future, herself and your unborn kids; it is imperative you discuss with her and let her know your standpoint on the subject-matter and that way you two would be able to reach an agreement or save yourself some undue problems and avoidable situations that could be catastrophic and disastrous to your matrimonial home leading to undue unrest and lack of peaceful co-existence. No doubt, there are successful marriages with people from different religious background. In same vein, a lot of inter-religious marriages or homes have been torn apart. You are better off and stand a lot of gains and benefits practicing same religion with your would-be wife, and don't forget making the right decision now is not only doing yourself a BIG favour, but also your unborn kids. And please note, a broken relationship is much more better than a broken marriage. Your future is in your hands; so, think and act swiftly and wisely. All the best! |
priscillawill:Don't mind the half-educated guy. That's how they go about preaching or spreading what they had no much knowledge about, in the name of sentiments and instigating a religious e-war. They think by mere reading of the Bible, they have all the understandings of the inherent and deeper meanings of the word. They only scratch the word of God (Bible) on the surface with their layman knowledge and understanding, trying so hard to paint the word of God in a way that befits and help them propagate their erroneous teaching and mis-interpretation of the word of God to the unsuspecting and young Christians who don't study their Bible constantly or have little or no in-depth understanding of the meaning of the word of God. The Bible is God's word and it's perfectly written by God's people through his ordained AND anointed of the old, through the help and guidance of the Holy spirit for the chosen people who are saved by the redemptive work of the salvation of our Lord Jesus Christ on the cross of Calvary. |
yomi007k:Before you can purchase through any bank, you must have an account (savings/current) with such. In addition, based on what I've read on the thread thus far, First bank does not allow their customers to bid by themselves, meaning you go with their own successful bid rate for any given auction. I hope this helps. |
Insidous:Sorry, I don't have answer to such an impertinent question. And please, don't bother quoting me back, as you won't be getting further response from me on this. And lastly, Grow Up! |
