Onyocha: it is the intervention of hezbollah on the side of the syrian army that have helped the syrian army trash the terrorists in qusayr within two weeks,in an area under rebel/terrorist control for 2 years.

besides,i dont know why you label hezbollah as a "terrorist movement".it is a resistance movement fighting israeli occupation.it has members both in the lebanese parliament and (ministers) in the government of lebanon.even the European Union has refused to label hezbollah a "terrorist organization" at the face of israeli and american pressure.what makes hezbollah a "terrorist organization"? it fights against israeli occupation of lebanese land.remember also that assad supports hezbollah as armed resistance group fighting israeli occupation because to this day israel is occupying syrian land,the golan heights.so syria finds itself a victim of the same occupation hezbollah is fighting against.remember also branding hezbollah as a "terrorist organization" is not an easy task because hezbollah is also a political party,and it democratically represents the Shia community in lebanon in parliament and government,which is the largest religious community in lebanon.so attempting to brand hezbollah a "terrorist organization" is automatically labelling the people who vote for it in election as "terrorists",and the Shia community is over 40% of lebanon's population.the agriculture minister of lebanon,hussein haj hassan,is a member of hezbollah and he accompanied lebanon's president-michel suleiman-on a state visit to nigeria.calling hezbollah a "terrorist organization" is like attempting to brand PDP or APP a "terrorist group".

in fact the world under american and israeli pressure united against assad because he stood with fighting israeli occupation in lebanon and palestine.if assad with the popular support he enjoys in syria is an american puppet like mubarak,nothing would have happened in syria.but the US and its puppets,namely turkey,qatar and saudi arabia,sent weapons and alqaeda terrorists known as the nusra front into syria,to topple assad.russia,china and iran stood by him,and hezbollah (an ally of both iran and syria) also interfered to help the syrian army.

What you just said is getting me go like..............what? hmmm you think a group like the hezbollah is not a terrorist organization! this is a group which conducts suicide bombings both in lebanon and in the diaspora. they are always looking for israelis to kill. the EU does not label it a terrorist organization becaose they claim it would lead to sectarian war in lebanon. Hassan Nasrallah, the hezbollah leader sounds no different from osama bin laden. the only difference is dat he is shiite and therfore kowtows to iran unlike osama who is a sunni. They are both the same and they apply similar tactics, no dobt about that!.

Now this "claim" that israel is occupying the Golan heights...........its the arabs who attacked israel first when it was formed. they resisted and they lost the war because isael was more powerful. Now they are jus facing the consequence of fighting israel that is war for you. FOr me I am with israel any day any time. Counteries have been divide for years so there is nothing wrong if the current state of israel was carved out of Palestine. Jews were there already, so its not as if they were imported from elsewhere. those who came back due to Nazi German rule were simply returning to their roots in the holy land God promised them.

Nothing can change that. You need to realize that israelis are under constant threat from hezbollah, hamas, syria, and iran. they are goups or counteries who wanna destroy the jewish state at all cost......THEY WILL NOT SUCCEED!!!! Now back to syria,what is going on there is healthy because you have two terrorist groups destroying each other shiite iran backed Hezbollah and Sunni al-qaeda linked al-nusra front. I support bashar not because I like Hezbollah but because I think he is calmer, more humble and reasonable unlike ahmadinejad and nasrallah. He is kinda more diplomatic so I admire him a lot, i want him to win the war. I hate extremists especially those who behead and chop off limbs and apply strict sharia. This is why i hate the syrian opposition. BASHAR WILL WIN THE WAR......INSHA ALLAH

I love the fact that the syrian army won that battle but i believe bashar has to learn a lesson from this war that if he keeps on arming or transfering armss from iran to the terrorist hezbollah movement these are the kind of things that will happen. He is now accusing Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Qatar of arming the rebels when he did the same thing when israel was battling hassan nasrallah's hezbollah terrorist movement. I hope syria wins the war though

I must confess I am shocked at dis claim here dat 9ija ppl speak beta English, its absolutely laughable! I teach chemistry in an international sch here in GH, most students r naijarians nd de english is inexplicably terrible, how cn u pronouce come as corm, teachers as tichas, nation as neishon, the as dee, ur accent is evn more terrible. GH is de best in Africa!

how can dis pastor Ashimolowo say dis what makes him think he is any better? Preaching has become a major foreign exchange earner for Nigeria, instead of convicing these islamist militants to turn to christianity you move around the world in jets with the claim of evangelising. those who need evangelism arre right under your noses! I was in univ of Ghana wid so many nigerians so i noe de naija english very well. One of our lectureres was a nigerian nd he admitted his english had improved markedly atfa coming to stay in gH.

gluv01: Get a grip bro. they speak better english than us. If you even check on their country's website, they've been awarded as one of the countries in Africa that speak good english. I'm not extending this to the whole population but you should also know that majority of them compared to Nigerians speak well.
I'm seriously laughing here because if you know how the whites yab downgrade Niger's english ehn. You'll feel like drowning. Most times they don't have anywork than to sit down and yab scoff our accent.
