Dish and Lnb do not have any restrictions. You can use Multi Tv one for Dstv and vice versa.

I have a multitv decoder which I use for 2 dishes and lnb's that's one Joytv which isn't working now only the multitv is working I intend changing the joytv to dstv is it possible and pls what do I need?

You mean other channels outside your subscription? Well, since you have the card, I'll entreat you to trial it and update the house your findings.

I'm very sure: Prof Emiratus Olenyi, Prof Emiratus Odilebe, prof George D, Prof D. Lee, Prof I Hacked, Dr Suleiman3, Dr Gadator, and many more will be 'SHAKING' their 'HEADS' wherever they are. These information have been provided already! Well well well, for X'mas sake: my response- For the mytv positioned dish, leave it untouch. Lift up the Multi tv dish a bit, and do some slow turnings you will hit green on the RDV(10804H30000). After hitting green on RDV, tighten the dish. Now put a small rectangular object on the Rdv Lnb. Use wire or any other thing suitable to tie the the object to the Lnb. Put another Lnb(multi tv one) on top of the Object slighty to leftside of the Rdv Lnb. Try turning 'ONLY' the multi tv lnb till you hit green. Then use another wire or rope to tighten the Multi tv Lnb to the rectangular object. For the Irib u need a seperate 1.8m dish(3* ur 60cm dish) and a C-Band LNB. You can also use a 1m dish + a C-Band LNB for the the Irib but that will depend on your location. For more tutorials on that, double click on my user name(GH-ONE) >> go to my posts. I've given MUCH information about Irib long long time a go. Try to read everything. Or you can also search 'Irib tracking' by using the local search engine. I've been on Campus since August. I revisited nairaland just last night so I need to go home and read all the pages back from August to see the new developments/changes that have cropped up in the world of FTA. What does this tell you? This means that, you a Newbie, should start reading all the threads from page1 before jumping into the arena of asking technical questions. Have a brilliant Yuletide!

Looks like DSTV are already laying out strategies for the yuletide.
They want to entrap as many gullible subscribers as possible.

Dstv subscribers can now watch their their full bouquet channels(Ss1-Ss9) and many more irrespective of your subscription. It starts from today up to Nov 17. Just to inform those who may be interested.

If I may answer. What it means is: you can watch all the dstv sports channels from SS1-SS9 plus almost all the premium bouquet channels. So all dstv subscribers are given the access to view irrespective of your subscription. Whether you subscribe to 'Access,family,compact, compact+ or full bouquet' . It applies to only those who have active accounts (

kd10: @Gh-one i was busy yesterday i want to correct one impression about the Change of 'FEC' on IRIB u talked about pls it didn't enhance anything on 1M dish tracking what happen is Irib is a Circular Tip & Supermax Lnb 17k perform beta than strong while in Linear Tips Strong Lnb perform beta than Supermax & that's what did the MAGIC for me not their change of FEC.those who has posted there Pic on 1M Achive the same fit with Supermax not Strong Cb Lnb! Sammu, Odilibe has posted the same Analysis hia b4.Tx

my modified lnb was out-performed by this two way lnb which i got from twinsoris a member on this forum
however this lnb performed whorefully on sky with no channels at all
completely amazing...this badr jsc stuff amazes me...anyway

@ KD10, long tym my brother. Thank God you now have a stable Irib with your 1m dish. Actually, Irib with a change in 'Fec', have had a signal boost so even with your Strong Lnb, you can still have a stable signal. Where were you experiencing the Irib problem, Accra or Lagos?

kd10: @All members & most importantly all the Gurus who's Analysis guided me so much about Supermax C band lnb. Thanks to u all bcus i was able to stablise my Irib package at 68%, jsc 69%,others 70% on 1M dish.it was 64% when i was using strong Cband lnb & it was cracking & flashing but Supermax 17k has done good for me. Meanwhile what is happning to 12417v30000 tip on Amos 17e?in my house in lagos with 4669x it was green with pic but over here in Accra with my 4922AHD Software 131p is Red.any clue Tks.
