It's more serious than you think. After World War two, the US planned to invade the Soviet Union by first nuking it before invading with American and German troops. They only stepped back after realising that the Soviet Union was still going to defeat them despite they using nuclear weapons.

I think the USA was waiting to produce sufficient amounts of nukes, but before they could achieve that, the USSR did its nuclear test and was confirmed as the second country to have nuclear bombs.
Just take a look at the uniforms which the USA gave to its west-german puppet army: it gave them nazi uniforms whereas the USSR gave its puppet east-german army new kinds of uniforms which didn't look like the nazi uniforms.

Benin Kingdom is the precolonial country whose capital we refer to as Benin city.
