I don't think his point is we shouldn't love our mothers, a lot of men are taking this way too PERSONALLY. I think he's referring to those men who prioritize their mother more than any other thing or person in the world . The key word is "any man" not "all men"

This man just passed a message to certain individuals not everyone, so why insult him if you're not in the category he's talking about?
