Emasel: medical field is no exception. Its even worse.Getting a job as a Doctor/nurse/pharmacist/med lab scientist in a Federal or State hospital aint easy broI agree with you,but there are a lot of private sector jobs out there to easily grab, without GMAT or whatsoever with minimum starting pay of @least 100k,Fed/State job isn't easy. |
Emasel: with ur first class? Have u tried lecturing or you are not interested.2.1,Lecturing is politicized |
polymathic: PGD study? The op is furious aidy with having a 1.1 n no job, now u asking him to opt for PGD... By the tym he finish PGD n couldn't get a job in three months, he gon commit suicide, believe me..... Except the job surfaces before finishing the program. |
emlilshady: it's now I just saw the write-up of this cockhead! your reading speed isunique from others, that you didn't finish does not mean some others did not. there was nothing like further maths there, everything there was  level exams. what you should argue on here is the timing and not your FAILURE to attempt all, they were all easy and I finished ALL!! I am not saying I got all correct! and about the essay, I have read about the two topics after somebody pasted it here online. May God help your soul as you continue to submit cv for life. in case you don't know, I'm a civil servant on pay roll.chai,u dn finish dis guy!,but how did you become a civil servant outside your state?,what's the secret ![]() |
(1) You have a dialogue with BH group. (2) They are naming people and telling you how they operate. (3)You tell it to the world, and of course,BH group knows you are divulging their secrets,& this can harm them. (4)Why do they still pick your calls and keep telling you more secret,is this a drama or sth, since you have their numbers, you communicate with them,is there no way government can use that channel and hit them hard, why all these useless drama!!! |
SamSara01: Friday 5th of September will make it exactly 3 months I passed out of service. I'm a 1st class holder and the best graduating student of my department and faculty in a reputable public university in the south-west but I'm currently unemployed. Of course, my cause of worry does not major on being currently unemployed, but majors on how the hope of getting a job soon seems so deem. More worrying is how professionals, lecturers, friends, family and everyone else alike kept and keep singing to my hear how so easy it will be for people like me to secure not just a job but a very good job. As it is, I don't seem better off than someone who spent every single night at a night club while I was burying my head in books during my school days. How do I motivate an aspiring student who thinks what I'm carrying is the gateway to success? If this has been the tale of people like me, then 1st class honour has truly been over-hyped in Nigeria.Don't worry,if you made the 1.1 by yourself, apply for jobs, you'll surely get an invite, when you get there, write the test & pass convincingly,it doesn't end at the University, you must prove it before getting a job. |
lorRhyMeZ: Niggah! Is u stalking me or what?you will get more of it,lemme get back from work |
lorRhyMeZ: I need the help of IT professionals here on nairaland..I want to go for an Oracle Database Administrator's course,However I would like to know more about it before I decide cos as most of u would know, the price tag aint smiling..I want to know if its worth the dough...Also I would like to know d benefits and job prospects if possible..So for once, you are serious with your life... |
lorRhyMeZ: Don't even come back..cos obviously u no get yans.Looking @ your antecedent,I see you as jobless, uncoordinated as your name reads,I've ended it with you. |
ChrisAlpha: Go get a life cos u don't have one.. pronounced dullard dwelling under the shadows of amalgamed illiteracy.. begone!!!!!!!Lolz, you can't defend your statements critically, you are busy insulting me(character of a weak man) |
lorRhyMeZ: I willlook @ what is talking,I'll answer u when I get back,keep quoting |
ChrisAlpha: Whatever man!!! Yes NL is faceless so had it been u could possible see my face then u will perhaps gimme some credit. Nevertheless, I urge u to halt flaunting ur infantile attitude in a social media just to get attention, If u really look down on people of less grade than u, then I put it to u beyond every reasonable doubt that u are a maladjusted lad who dearth etiquette & as such an urgent psycological attention will help in no little way so as to deliver u from the engulfment of ur pride, cos it has taken dominion over u. OUR COLOUR, RACE, CREED, GRADES(1.1,2.1,2.2 etc) & RELIGION might be different.. but SUCCESS is all we seek.you can cry me a river... |
lorRhyMeZ: Lol..so u mean its only oil companies, big firms and so on that mk use of gmat questions during their aptitude test yeah? Even without interviews sef, every graduate anywhere in Nigeria knows most companies would set their test qstns in Gmat format, hence even graduates wit 4th class have in one way or the other came across such qstns..Gmat is everywhere...so u don't have a point sir.you may have a point, but you ended your statement like a 15-year-old,grow up |
ChrisAlpha: Man quit typing hokum here. My immediate brother is a permanent staff at Exxon Mobil in EKet AkwaIbom state he graduated from Civil Engineering at ESUT with 2.2... so stop.discouraging those that have 2.2 ok.. I made it out with 2.1 but I don't look down on 2.2 or 3rd class graduates... what matters is how successful u are.. My brother is 29years & he's earning big at his place of work, he is a 2.2 graduate... I see him as a role model.NL is faceless so you can say anything, even with your lack of understanding what I wrote, when did that your brother join Mobil,ie if @ all you have a relative there,(2) read my post, then think critically with your brain! |
Emeca: You are the one dat sparked dis useless argument abt grades. Sumtin dat has no relevance to this thread. GMAT is not Neurology and ANYONE that has a good grasp of basics involved and pays attention to details can tackle it. The most important tin is practise, not grades.I wonder if you can read and understand ,read what @KIOPROSPECT is writing to you, from your comment it shows your critical reasoning section was poor!!! |
poundsmaker: Lolzzzz, na lie. Don't use your personal ability to justify others. Most 2'2 graduates are far better than 2'1 even some 1st class honors.I'm not judging, read my post well,no matter how good a 2.2 grad is,he can not be called to write test in big firms, oil coys, therefore having no experience on this type of exams,my comment is based on the exams and the state of our country,I agree with the fact that some 2.2 are better than 2.1 and perhaps 1.1 grad according to you. |
To get a job in this country now is very competitive, you must buy and practise GMAT-styled questions everyday as we saw yesterday, though most of 1.1 and 2.1 grads that wrote the exams didn't find it too strange bc they hv experience writing it for employments in Oil/Gas and other big firms, but for most 2.2 grads,it was like magic to them. The bottom line is: if you want to be employed, go back and study all mathematics topics (0' level) very well, buy GMAT text, practise everyday or you may never get a job,the way Nigeria is going( except for grads in medical field). The only other way you can have a job without doing the latter is,having a very influential person @ the aim of affairs. Thank you! |
Ayo25: Everyone was upbeat before the test, who is now? Ahah.... Next stage pls.Yoruba- AkwaIbom man, where was your venue UYO HIGH SCHOOL or HERITAGE SCHOOL? |
I decided to ignore a post someone wrote about being paid by a church to play or sth,If you are being paid before you play in a church, this is the views I have about you.(1) You may be likely below 26years old(2) You are unemployed (3) You are not mature enough to take responsibility (4) You can't carter for your needs,Aside from this,I don't see why you play for money except that church can pay you up to #70,000-#120,000/month. Finally, there's no integrity in playing for #10,000-50,000. Mature players ie 35 years old and above don't need to jump from one church to another in search of money,to me,if the church doctrine and style of worship is OK by me,I don't need to switch, I am not condemning anyone that plays in church for money, just giving my views,so no insults, please. |
I would even prefer them to Insurance (marketing) Companies... |
OP sleep dey follo do u strong thing abi |
Ayo25: Team Ogun has refused to brief us. Hope it doesnt mean that the test is a beast.Hello,do you know if there's any dress code since this one is interview/test, would u go with your phone... |
umohmfonobong: pls does anybody has information as regard Akwa Ibom State shortlistmentHaven't you received the msg? |
Nice One Ribadu, not like some of them, were when after dumping a party (because they have EFCC cases or other charges to answer to ),they will tend to see nothing good about the party again, confusing gullible Nigerians, not knowing they are just acting childish to people of my kind. |
babycynthia: Pls has anybdy heard from workforce after the interview they had last month ending? It depends on the position you were interviewed for and your location,I think I saw a thread like that some time ago,& one person from Enugu said he had a feedback. |
williams1291: Havnt u heard frm dem?Is this how you answered questions from your interviewer? |
OP is making some sense, but @least the BSc. Accounting wouldn't be valueless as far as it can fetch you a job, what you should say is that Scientists and non-accounting graduates can compete for jobs favorably in a-purely accounting sector as far as they had good first degrees, but an accounting graduate can't try that in a purely science field, you can only work in your accounting department. With all due respect,Arts,Social Sciences,Law courses are disciplines a good Scientist can read and understand with little or no tutelage, but let a Lawyer or an Accountant try surgery or balance a chemical equation. |
Dramadiddy: 17-20Ok |
