What are the roles of the Federal House Of Representatives?,CONFAB is a waste of resources(esp if their reports wouldn't be implemented),it undermines the role of the House Of Reps,I only saw it as a way of compensating expired politicians or as they usually term it "elder statesmen"

HealthRe: Breaking: Ebola Goes Out Of Control As 21 Quarantined In Enugu - Fg by Giannakopoulos(f): 12:12pm On Aug 14, 2014
aceman: The report said that she evaded quarantine. We don't need to blame the FG as a habit, even when facts show that they are making a very good effort . If you must play the blame game, you MAY blame the nurse, but she is only human and irrational like many.

Playing the blame game won't solve this problem . All the "likes" you got for your statement doesn't solve the problem too
@ work now,I will carefully look into your case when I'm free.

suco50: Watch it closely bro, you'll find out the real virus in Patrick Sawyerr is the one at work; Sawyerr too was quarantined but still managed to travel to Ngr. Victims now are acting like vampires!
I stand to be corrected,I don't think he was quarantined, but was only placed under surveillance.

madamoringo: I am not holding brief for Tinubu, but can you show one shred of evidence of his loot? Your god Jonathan put him into the EFCC blocks a year ago and he was acquitted but here you are still trying to earn you 5 per post lying like a dolt. BTW, when will your god account for the miasinf $ 20 B ??
& who is holding brief for GEJ,can you substantiate your proof of missing money you are talking about?
PoliticsRe: Between Emeka Ojukwu And Bola Tinubu by Giannakopoulos(f): 5:37pm On Aug 13, 2014
Ojukwu is only a modified version of Asari Dokubo bc of his education,I don't celebrate him bc he pioneered a civil war that killed so many innocent people,Tinubu has looted a lot of funds, but looting is better compared to wasting of lives just to gain territory (power and greed)
HealthRe: Breaking: Ebola Goes Out Of Control As 21 Quarantined In Enugu - Fg by Giannakopoulos(f):
FG quarantined her and she could still travel, then the word "quarantine" has to be redefined to us by this our unserious FG.

Daluuzor: thanks bro, av been stayin at home now for 7 months after service, and it ain't easy at all, the interview is too sudden and I don't think i can make it before 9am as I reside in Ikorodu.
I asked to be rescheduled through their website, if it works out I got rescheduled, then something good will come out of it, if not, I will move on and continue my search.
So help me God.

PoliticsRe: 2015: Tambuwal In Secret Meeting With Obasanjo by Giannakopoulos(f): 7:23am On Aug 13, 2014
But politics and power is funny, just look @ Tambuwal, aside from being the speaker,"he was elected (voted for) by not more than 3 local government area inside Sokoto" (to represent a constituency of a state) gaining so much power than even state Governors, and now rubbing shoulders with an elected President of the entire nation. Does he think he has any political strength,I'd advise he tests his strength in a gubernatorial elections first.

Having gone through this article myself, house, would you term someone who has passed through the first and final stages of an interview, but is waiting to called on for training "a lazy man"?,I listened to a documentary on "who is a lazy man",and my conscience is really disturbing me. Or should one just do any work (even if there's no profit) he sees because he doesn't want to be termed "a lazy man"?
Jobs/Vacancies8 Signs To Show You Are Lazy On Your Job Hunt by Giannakopoulos(op): 2:52pm On Aug 12, 2014
Being hardworking doesn't mean going about doing strenuous job ie is unprofitable but , here are some signs that you're being lazy in your approach to your hunt.

1. You only apply to jobs you find online. While plenty of people get hired by responding to online job postings, if that's all you use, you'll be up against an enormous amount of competition. Your odds of getting interviews will go up dramatically if you use your network to mine for personal connections to jobs you want.

2. You send the same basic cover letter to every job you apply for. If your cover letter is generic enough to work for every job you apply for and you're not customizing it each time, you're missing out on one of the most effective ways to grab a hiring manager's attention. A good letter needs to be adapted for every application, because it should talk specifically about why you'd excel at this particular job, not just any job.

3. You don't prepare much for interviews. If you're not spending at least several hours preparing for an interview, you're selling yourself short. You should spend time reaching the employer, but also practicing your answers to likely interview questions and coming up with thoughtful questions of your own. Doing this can dramatically change how well you come across in an interview.

4. You don't prep your references before giving them out. It's courteous to let your references know when they should be expecting a call about you. Plus, by touching base with them before they're contacted, you can tell them what you'd most like them to emphasize about you for any given job.

5. You're not even sure what your references would say about you. If you don't know, it's time to find out. Call up your references and ask for an honest assessment of how positive a recommendation they can give you. And if you're worried you're getting a bad reference from a former employer, see if you can negotiate something more neutral. It's often easy to get a bad reference toned down if you ask politely.

6. You're not helping others. One of the best ways to build and reinforce your network is to help the people who are in it—by connecting them with potential opportunities, sending them articles they might find interesting, or introducing them to contacts with similar interests. Not only is this a kind thing to do, but it means that your network is much more likely to be there for you when you'd like to ask for something yourself.

7. You don't send thank-you notes after a job interview. You might think a post-interview note is an unnecessary nicety, but sending them can make a mark on an interviewer who is on the fence about you. Make a point of always emailing your interviewer within a few days after the interview to reiterate your interest in the position and refer back to the conversation.

8. You're only interested in a job, not in finding the right job. Caring only about getting a job offer and not thinking critically about how happy you'll be once you're in the job is a good way to ensure that you end up with a job that makes you miserable. Take the time to look for jobs—and managers and office cultures— that are truly right for you and screen out the ones that aren't.

PoliticsRe: Youth Leaders To Jonathan: Don’t Contest 2015 Election by Giannakopoulos(f): 7:19am On Aug 12, 2014
OtunbaJega: By Emma Amaize

CALABAR – THE Forum of Past Youth Leaders of ethnic nationalities in the South South zone has asked President Goodluck Jonathan not to contest the 2015 general election.

In a communique issued at the end of an emergency meeting in Calabar, signed by the chairman, Mumakai Unagha and secretary, Ekpo Ukong, the ex-youth leaders said “if he is so desired to contest, he will not receive our blessing.”

“The youth leaders also resolved to mobilize all stakeholders in the region against him come 2015,” they said.

“The youth leaders agreed for two million youth rally in Abuja on 30th of August and towards the end, a 15-man sensitization and mobilization committee to reach out to other youth leaders across the geo-political zones in the country was constituted,” they stated.

The forum rejected the 18 per cent derivation recommended by the National Conference and the criteria for creation of 18 new states, saying they should be created on the principle of derivation.

House, how can one cope with a church sound manager(an elderly person),who knows nothing about sound and can't play any instrument but goes on to set the mixer up & down, and would NEVER accept instructions from the instrumentalists no matter what you say,is it possible to cope as a good player, knowing too well that without a good sound set-up,you may be reduced to just an average player because some skills you do (runs, straddle, even some chords etc) may not be heard by the audience.
PoliticsRe: Gaddaffi's Last Formal Speech: by Giannakopoulos(f): 11:03am On Aug 11, 2014
olapluto: Those innocent politicians are the ones ruining Libya now with their ethnic bigotry and ethnomiliticias. Ghadaffi understood Libya more than anyone, and he ruled Libya in the best way ever. For every bad action attributed to Ghadaffi, 20 worse crimes are committed by those accusing him.
The incidence that caused the 'no fly zone' is small compared to the genocide against Palestinians by Israelis. Why has NATO not thought of a 'no fly zone' to protect Palestinian civilians?
I understand you quite alright, but I wouldn't agree with you that he was the only man out of millions that was capable of ruling Libya, the west also had it wrong, note my statement,my point is Ghaddafi ruled for so long, using extreme force to silence the opposition & was not the only man capable to rule, imagine Mugabe, what he's doing in Zimbabwe now,in the next generation,an article may come out, outlining his good deeds, ignoring the serial crimes he committed.
