spiceeamiee: If you have a good tailor then you can make them. My baby has over 20 dresses and I made almost all of them. One lady here advertised and if your tailor is good and not too expensive, then making them is way cheaper. I cannot even tell you the number of dresses you will get from that 20k. Thanks, can I see a picture of some of the ones u made, my tailor is too expensive, I've been on the quest for a cheap tailor but I keep shooting myself on the foot, yeah godmother advertised here a while back, godmother how far. |

booqee: Good morning,
I've asked this question before but no one answered me
For those who normally have menstrual cramps before you became a mother; now that you have gone through childbirth, is it true that you don't ever experience menstrual pain again in your life? i usually have mild moments on day1 pre childbirth, but now I don't feel a thing anymore and I hate that cuz the no was usually my reminder that period is coming |

Graciouscharis: @ giddyperson, you can look for @ thriftismytherapy on instagram. Chat with her and tell her your budget to see if she can help you buy some clothes from America. She clears goods on sales over there for people. The good thing is that her price includes shipping to Nigeria. I think I saw your budget when they did sales after Christmas. I think she ships via sea so it takes about 3 weeks to get here. So you can use her to shop ahead.
@ jazzyjazz, you can check her out too. She shops for people that sells too. Ok thanks, I'd check her out. |

omotolanibaby: u can get few nice outing dress for ur baby, which are not sleep wear or onesis at affordable price on PEP and u can go to balogun market if u reside in Lagos I shop at PEP but I'm tired of them, and no time/energy for Balogun, from what I'm reading sef, the prices around my house are not as abnormal as i thought, so maybe i'd just price small , buy from there. |

enque: Hey stalker... Sometime last year when I was looking for birthday dress, I stumbled on a shop at Lagos Island (docemo side) and they had very nice clothes for baby girls and the prices were a bit fair. Also My elder sister helps me shop for baby clothes (mostly her casual wears) as per she be experienced mama.
But with the way our 'blessed economy' is going, u may need to review ur budget 'smoh' especially for dresses. Lol thanks, the budget would go for upward review, I have a pile of unsewn ankara, my mum thinks if she dashes me enough, I'd finally start making womanly/wifely clothes for myself , I've been thinking about making some for me and giddybaby but laziness... |

hunniesuzie: Lol, this your budget kwanu. I buy from zaynie, faybabyspalace on IG, and if I see anybody coming from the abroad my Amazon/Carter/Primark etc cart is always stocked and ready to ship out. I also buy a lot in advance so I don't feel it. I bought up to 9 months before I gave birth and I have up to 18 months now. My cart now is full of 18 to 24 months clothes Lol is it too low, I was thinking all these shops just wanna use me and pay rent . How can tiny humans, with their tiny quarter yard clothes be costing so much jazzyjazz: Hian Na she be number one na Liar-LiAR, My in-law, how are your burning pants |

iaatmgirl: Evening mamas in the house Trust that we and our little ones are fine.
I have question on dressing for baby. Apologies that it is a long post. I'm from the pregnancy thread.
This bodysuit that is called onesis. Can it be worn out alone. When I bought first set I asked those at the shop what baby would wear down and they said no need for anything since baby would be covered with flannel most times. But I'm wondering if this is right. Would I be carrying baby around with open laps, should there not be shorts or leggings. I bought a few leggings to satisfy my conscience but was beginning to think if it was because of heat that I was told baby could wear bodysuits alone.
Also, These bodysuits are fine but I feel they are too light or would there still be underwear underneath. I didn't really see singlets that can be worn underneath. Possible under wears were also bodysuits, I believe I shouldn't put on 2 bodysuits. Or I'm I supposed to get actual shirts to be worn on the bodysuits?
Pls mamas help me, I'm beginning to realise I don't know how to dress a baby. I didn't buy many things that day cos I suddenly went confused on how to dress baby. So I've come to ask experienced mamas, how best can I dress baby till 3,6 n 9 months? I believe from 12 months they can start putting on regular cloths.
Thank you all. lol You can get white singlets from PEP, that's where i finally found some for my baby. You can dress baby in singlet, body suit and tight when going out, thats almost all my baby wears since birth up until now at Ten months. Which brings me to my own question Please where do you people shop for your babies, my baby used to wear a lot of sleepsuits, tights and bodysuits but now that she's semi-walking, those things make her feet slip and I want to get 'big-girl' clothes. I walk into most baby shops around me and I see the cutest gowns and tops but its alway 2500 for tops and 5k for gowns, this means I can only buy 4 dresses on my 20k budget, Olisah forbid. My budget is not more than 1k-1.5k to the tops and trousers, then 2k-2.5k or less for dresses, anyone who knows anywhere in the mainland, where an Ijebu girl can go and get these, not already used, your suggestions would be highly appreciated. Enque I was stalking your instagram and zara has fine clothes, where do you shop, hunniesuzzie nko, floraec, Zaynie / Jazzyjazz do you have ? Just stuff like the attached

sgtponzihater1: Not thru snitching is a serious crime. It ranks high up with murder, especially when the person u are snitching on sees you as a trusted friend. Our religious dogma tells us premarital sex is bad, however morality, agnostics, thiest, and atheist, would all agree that snitching a about the worst of habit, very close to its elder brother murder. Tobi is a time bomb, his colleagues and the whole of Nigeria can see him for who he is, a helpless gossip in need of redemption. The things you people say on this thread just to argue |
