D only person whom UI should have just considered against all odds for admission is ME because of wat I've been thru...but since it hasn't worked dat way, it's for a reason...life just has to continue.

If you used ND to apply for the D.E studying Computer Engineering why must that be changed to som'n you're an alien to all because 'I don't want to waste more time that's why I accepted what they gave.' Why not go back to your poly for HND where you will continue with your first love and your dream? PGD is there is you're bent on getting a degree. Just ma view.

Do we have anyone here who maybe didn't go to comfirm his/her transcript, didnt have the transcript sent cos it wasn't stated on the website and have been offered admission? Or had it sent and comfirmed with good grade and good O'level result, but still hoping?

Just one theory, as it is now, I think it's only those that's been admitted are able to see their admission status. But I seriously hope that's not the case o.

This was actually ma thought, adegab, but now that you've brought this up I guess it has added more percentage to that thought. Cos for those who now have been admitted, their initial problem before their minds at rest was "hi undefined" as some of them typed.
Maybe all of these doesn't corroborate well, but in cases like one can't just stop the brain from thinking wide.

Why didn't UI ask for the submission of transcript on its site? And what about aspiring students who are not on this thread to know maybe transcripts are to be submitted before admission or not? I wouldn't have known maself if I was never on here, yet I would have had ma credential submitted and have ma print out just like I do now cos that was the only thing requested for on the site.

Just had mine done now, showing 2014/2015. But I had issues at the O' level page, telling me to fill in some subjects not on ma GCE certificate without which I was been delayed progressing to the next step. I had to choose some subjects and followed it will 'adsent' in the provided -grade- column. All I needed for ma course I have on the certificate, but without filling those columns it wouldn't lemme go (playing Pharaoh kinda). Do you think I could have issues in the later days like in the course of the admission process for filling in what I do not have on ma GCE certificate at the O'level page?

Ade, but has the page has always been showing 2014/2015 while filling, submitting, till your final print out? Cos some are like: "it will be showing you 2013/2014 but never mind the final print out will bring 2014/2015" another "even if the final print out will be 2013/2014 it doesn't matter". And there we have someone so bothered she's having 2013/2014. So, Ade boss, what has yours been all along till your final print out?

It's been stated that credentials including O' level and HND, ND and equivalent certificates should be submitted. I can't really find a place where all of these credentials will fit in on the registration page. Or will that appear possibly after clicking on the submission button when the teller number, bank branch, amount paid, Jamb Reg number etc are been filled, or will the certificate be scanned in? 2. The 50kb passport and the signature which will be in JPEG format; I guess they would be scanned in too? And for anyone here who must have had his/her registration done how did you go by the procedure filling in the credentials, most especially the certificate? 3. Na 2013/2014 I still they see o, the only time the 2014/2015 whatever thing will come up, it will always be for the PUTME stuff. Please, anyone here who has had these stuffs done successful submitting these things online with the session 2014/2015 DE REGISTRATION should help out o.

significance: The DE admissions portal 'will' (so I was told by the admin officer on seat) open next week. Mehn...there were 8-- plus transcript already registered with hundreds still in those cartons.

I have been to my registrar for the transcript oo! But I was told it can't be delivered into my hands...like the hardcopy kinda; and the transcript cannot be transferred to any school unless such student has been offered admission at the intending school to continue, cos it's an important document which might tarnish the image of the school and cause jail term for such student if any alteration would be done to the transcript. Considering what I was been told at the registrar's office, I agreed things should be that way, but here is all about the submission of transcript before any screening. However, someone also posted no screening will be conducted to have qualified students. Hmm, oga o! I am not totally doubting all of these, but it calls for thought. Should I say ma school is not being considerate ni abi over-protective? And see me o, I submitted the D.E jamb slip without ma certificate using awaiting result cos the certificate wasn't ready before filling the form and the submission. Now ehn, I just dey hope ni. significance: Pls clarify me....must the transcript be addressed to UI admissions office....we are told on UI helpdesk to 'submit' our transcript not to ask our school to 'send' it. If I get the transcript my self and with my own hands go to submit and register it at UI is there any problem with that.

Now, ma question is will the submission be before the screening or after the screening? Please, significance, help me out with an answer to ma question, please o I beg. Abi? Thank you, sigolisis. I already have the certificate. Only certificate and transcript are being given at my school anyway. But I was told the transcript will only be required when a D.E candidate has already been selected to continue his/her studies at any choice of school. Now, I think schools can only send your transcript once and following this issue of submitting before the screening exam going on here, I am kinda lost. And another important aspect of the transcript is that it is always being addressed to your intending school choice from your initial school. What if after the screening a student would not pass the screening exam? What then will happen if such student would want to try D.E next year, probably this time not UI? Who will address the school such person would be trying out next? And there you have a transcript already addressed to the University of Ibadan i.e if you even have the document file with you.

Hi, pals. I have already registered, submitted my printed copy of the jamb confirmation slip which shows that I registered for D.E at the jamb office, but without my Diploma certificate because it wasn't ready as at the time I went to do the submission. Please, does anyone have any info for me? I finished with distinction, Diploma in Computer Science at Olabisi Onabanjo University but wish to continue at the University of Ibadan.
