mrtopeqs: Okay, was learning hausa one time like that but my teacher left....it's not easy learning hausa in lagos, nah only minna I reach for north but I no too hear dem hausa Funny enough we don't even consider Minna as north to that extend and their hausa is sorta inferior but it's all good once there's interest, you will attract the language somehow. |

haywhy911: rkarang, dah ur testimony dey attract comments for facebook o.check the group:great unilorites aspirants 2015/2016.i also copied thiz piece 4rm d group.read:"Hey guys don't be scared! After my research about Unilorin Admit students, I arrived at with d following results.. As a Federal University, the schools use the following ratio in its admission. 40:20:30:10. Are you with me?? 40% of the candidate that will be admitted will be base on merit! When I say merit thought Its start frm 75 upward but I mean score lyk 80 and above.. If you got this, automatically are admitted even if u are frm south, east or west any part of d country, Indigene or non-indigene!! 20% of the admitted students would be base on State of Origin.. If you are frm Kwara and u score above the cut off mark, maybe u chose medicine and u got 65 in post ume and cut off for medicine is 70, u will be dropped to anoda dept may be anatomy or and other clinical science courses.. Non-Indigene would not have this oppurtunity! 30% for the catchments areas normally If u check Jamb brochure catchments area of Unilorin are 8 states namely Benue, kebbi, Kogi, kwara, Nassaraw, Plateau, Sokoto, zamfara.. But as u can see yourself how many people do you know that are frm above mention state that applied? Though they are but are very few.. So due influx of aspirants frm South western state, the school has to adopt most of d western states as its catchment area.. So If you are frm Benue, kogi, kebbi, kwara, Nasarawa, sokoto, plateau, zamfara and Lagos, Osun, ogun, oyo, ekiti and Ondo and score above 50% u are in for the race... 10% Vc satisfaction, Its for him to decide, he may accept candidate frm Influential people, Groups, religion association, International students all fall within under this 10%! Unilorin will admit almost 15000 students dis year.. 13k will through utme and 2k remedial students! If you are still arguing there is nothing lyk runz, I urge to come to Ilorin, I'll show few things u wil see it ursef.. Everyday in almost street in U'll c aspirants holding there photocopied credentials waiting to gve som1 or going up and down wit it may be they would find som1 that can help. I stayed here and I see it everyday since post ume had been done. So again friends don't let us runaway from the fact not all the 15k students would knw some1 in d skul or runs it, All is well" Yeah after pume I spent complete 1 week in Ilorin, lots of others are hustling too. And for the merit list of 80% and above, yes thank God I'm in the range but I think they should make it from 70% and above. Oluwa is involve. |

JallofRice What's the inspiration behind your moniker? Anytime I see u online, u remind me of my favourite Jallof Rice restaurant in Lekki phase 1, the place is called "The Place" it's at the basement of a popular night club along Admiralty way, Lekki phase 1, Lagos. Men! That place ehn... whenever I enter, I'll order for hot Jallof rice, enough salad, fried plantain, with some beef and fishes. OMG! It's been long I went to Lag and I can't wait for 2moro, I have 2 be on my way! I gotta go to Lasgidi, eko oni baje, the biggest thing I missed in Lag tho is COOLFM! I Can't believe I will listen to Joice tha voice of coolfm tomorrow by the special grace of God by 9pm. I LOVE LAGOS! |

The husband of a certain lecturer that is keen of me getting admitted just called and collected my details which includes my name, jamb no and score plus my post ume score and course applied. I have two different people standing for me and I scored 80% please and please I don't wanna hear any pathetic story from any Nairalander. Even if you score 40% make sure somebody is out there that will stand for you. I came from Gombe I am new to this environment, didn't know anyone but I have to hustle hard because whatever is worth doing, is worth doing well. HAVE FAITH and it shall be well! Na admission sure pass. Never give up, they just might be compiling the list right now, do what you have to do, do your best and leave the rest to God. Na God get power pass! |
