Finally,I am 90% sure the president won't get 73 votes in the Senate to get this through.I think he should havee he informed the leadership of the NASS at least 2days before the emergency declaration.I understand the fear and concerns of the president regarding threats to disrupt oil production in Rivers,but I think the emergency rule was too hasty.

The problem here is irrepairable damage! By going to the media she has diminshed the senate, her husband and her entire relationship with the Akpabios. The events she claimed consitutes harrassment were not made known to the Ethics panel neither did her husband at any point in time raise the issue with the mutual friends they shared with the Akpabios, don't you find that SUSPICIOUS?

The real question here is what type of investigation can actually confirm or disprove her case? Absence of a voice or video recording or witnesses she's at a huge disadvantage and I believe this is why seh went to the media rather than follow the chain of command or Senate bylaws!

This woman has traveled abroad multiple times with Akpabio, if he intended to harass her, wasn’t that the perfect opportunity? She has visited him in hotels several times, yet nothing happened.
