Wow Lagos State VAT is more than 66.82 billion higher than that of all the states combined together. |
tspun:Bro its not just about Soludo. We the igbos are the cause. We see the truth and fail to call a spade a spade. We encouraged the insecurity in the name of agitators coming to fight imaginary fulani herdsmen sold to us by MNK. Few of us that saw this warned against it, but everybody shut us up calling us names like saboteurs etc just for voicing a genuine opinion. I do not know how many fulani herdsmen these criminals have caught or killed, but I know they have killed and kidnapped hundreds of thousands of igbos. Recently a friend of mine who has a big factory in China, wanted to come and build a hotel in Awka. But when he saw the level of killings and kidnapping and the fact that you cannot go out once it is 7pm in Awka, he decided to move to Lagos buy the land and has started the project in Lagos. At the end who is losing? How can we igbo people who are very smart and industrious be so stupid and gullible to allow this type of thing to happen to us just becos of sentiments. Now that we have realised that this agitation is a mistake that will take the SE 50 years backwards, let us retrace our step, condemn it, and collectively fight it off. This same Rev Okpala is one of the people supporting the non state actors. I've listened to so many of his preaching supporting them, and MNK and unfortunately he is still a victim. So the fact you support MNK or Ekpa, or you are the highest donor does not make you immune to these criminals. |
Okonsbecky:Unfortunately, non of our people dare talk and say the truth. We all know it but everyone including our politicians are afraid of saying the truth. Cos once you do, you are in trouble, and the mob will come after you. That is why all of them are shamelessly asking for his release in the media space but will go behind and advise the powers that be never to try releasing him. |
paramakina202:Bro, this is the simple Truth. MNK biafra agitation caused this insecurity. I remember clearly arguing with my late in-law and some Catholic Priest over this sometime in 2018. I told them that this agitation will send Igbo land 50 years backward citing what happened in Sierra Leone and Liberia as example. Its only a foolish senseless person that thinks war will solve any problem cos you don't know what will come up after that. Unfortunately, 5 of the 7 persons we had this argument with who are supporting this criminals and calling them liberators have all been brutally killed in the most despicable way there in the East. One of them who was sponsoring them, went to give them free fuel in his filling station, and they just killed him there for nothing. These criminals are not reasonable, always high, lack logic, and all they care about is murder and despicable criminality. And they are just too many to control. How can they ever be liberators? It is impossible. |
SmartPolician:Show us the one PDP did in their 16 years of Governance with all the support Ndigbo gave them. Please show us. We are waiting. |
Noblechykk:Its very obvious you don't live in Abuja, and don't know or have a clue of the things he's achieved in a very short time in office. I lived in the United States for almost 20 years. I have been actively following Nigerian Politics in terms of development which is the key driver to our development since year 2001 after 9/11. I have followed the Performance of most of the Governors in Nigeria over the years, and the best among them till tomorrow is Donald Duke. But with the performance of Wike in Abuja since he was apponted Minister, not even here in the United States have I ever seen where the start and deliver such quality of projects in such a record time. I live in Clinton Maryland and I challenge anybody that also lives here in the USA to tell me of such projects. I visit Nigeria every 3 to 4 months and once I return back to Abuja am Always shocked to see projects that were not there the last time I passed spring up and completed. Stop the hate on Wike please. You all are hating him because of Obi. But Wike is 10 million times better than Obi and the only problem is that you do not know he is better because of the information available to you on social media which is not true. I am politically aware and know when Obi was the Governor of Anambra State and he is such a big disappointment and the same with Ikpeazu, Theodore Orji, Orji Uzor Kalu, and Ohakim. Nothing to write home about. Rochas is by far better than Obi in terms of infrastructural development. The only scam people used in falling for Obi was that he saved money, but they forgot that this is money he is supposed to use to develop the state that he put in his bank and used Anambra funds to do business. Of course when his tenure finished he returned the Capital back. That is what people didn't realise and they started praising him that he's the messiah when he's not. |
BigkokoRep:Stop inciting people to hate we the igbos with your stupid bigotry. Grow up and stop this stupid unnecessary tribal hates and coloration. If there's any tribe we the igbos should love and take like our brothers it should be the Yorubas. We are the two most progressive tribes in Nigeria and we benefit a lot from them. |
This Politicians don't rate us at all. PO tell us what happen to the over $900 million USD donated by Nigerians in diaspora for your 2023 election campaign. Show us all the interest earned in Anambra money you fixed in banks that you terminated and return to the state at the end of your tenure. This are money that is supposed to be used to develop Anambra. You are here preaching kwaraption. What of the $120 million USD you fixed for 15 years? Where is the interest on all those money? Saint OBI

See what people are celebrating. Single lane bridge for a population like Lagos? Come to Abuja and see quality projects. Several of such bridges are being constructed and delivered at the same time. Sanwo Olu step up your game. You are the one that should be doing what Wike is doing in Abuja in Lagos, and not the other way round. Plus it takes your contractors forever to deliver projects unlike Ambode. |
This woman is a disgrace, because this her rant will change nothing. She is not the natural kind of leader that can change things. What I expect her to do is simple. We are sending a monitoring team that will pose as regular passengers, and if there is any one is caught, the official and head of the agency gets fired instantly. That is the only way to go. When others see that their colleagues have been fired for this, they will all sit up and stop the nonsense. But this rant with empty threat holds zero water. |
nedekid:Very true. ![]() |
mrjoeblinks:He will make more money in Nigeria where there are more gulible people with zero accountability or control. £1.8 million is a chicken money to Nigerian pastors as just one member can donate that here in naija. So its a blessing in disguise for him. |
GOFRONT:Monster GEJ made for being a weak leader. All this started under him, and if he had dealt with it decisively then, like Ghana and Benin Republic did when they attempted to start this rubbish in their country, we wouldn't be here. How can you be a President of a country and you sit there and hear that 800 of your citizens are butchered in a single night and you did nothing about it. They go to the next community and kill another 500, you still do nothing about it. That is what emboldened them to know that the Nigerian government is not ready to fight them, and they called more of their compatriots who were Gadafi's mercenaries from Niger, Chad Burkina Faso, Mali and Senegal and were jobless as of then with arms to come to Nigeria and start kidnapping. But if GEJ had deployed just 2000 strong security team with helicopters fighter jets and all that to go after them the first time they struck, and ensure that they are completely decimated, this monster wouldn't have existed today. They say a stitch in time saves nine. |
Augustine2244:Yes he has scrapped and re-asphalted most of the roads in the city center. I had some visitors from Lagos last weekend and I drove them round to see Wike's doings. They couldn't believe it. These are people that hate him and are busy insulting him upandan. Their thoughts about him changed instantly. |
Crafteck1:Don't mean to make you feel bad bro. |
Candreva:Don't mind the foolish African countries. We always like to blame others for our failures. If only you have an idea how much money we get from this countries in aids and support that our leaders plunder away. In life you grow by collaboration and you don't grow by isolation. The reason why SadAfrica is way better than Naija today is because they got independence in 1994. So the British ruled them till 1994. Imagine if it was the same Britain ruling us till 1994, don't you know that Nigeria will be way finer than SA and Britain? But our leaders failed us woefully and gaslight us into believing it is the fault of our colonial masters when the facts are glaring. |
tundegan:Wait until you see Wike's work. You can't even compare. One is in Champions league while the other is in coca cola league in terms of service delivery. The speed at which Wike begins and delivers projects is unprecedented in the history of Nigeria. Only those that live in FCT and Rivers can attest to it. If it is possible to borrow Wike as Lagos Governor for just one year, he will surpass what Fashola, Ambode and Sanwo Olu did in their entire tenure in just one year. This is no jokes. I am ready to provide receipts with the projects he's delivered in Abuja alone. I wish Tinubu will make Wike Minister of works or Minister of Power. Dave Umahi is working hard, but he is not delivering results like Wike. He is yet to commission any project since he became Minister, but we have lost counts of the number of projects Wike has delivered and commissioned. I wish they could fix all our major roads this fast it will help a lot in easing of movement of goods and services. |
Crafteck1:It is to show you the IQ level of people we are sharing the same social media space with. Now wonder you see them typing rubbish. So visiting Old Trafford is now a blessing. I cringe. This is where I worked 14 years ago when I was still in school. |
BoldBrainz:Bro, people like you are the problem with Nigeria. Do you know Nigeria lacks basic infrastructure. What makes a country developed is its infrastructure. South Africa, Kenya, Egypt, Angola, Algeria, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Benin Republic, etc are rated higher than Nigeria and attract way more tourist because of their infrastructures which good road network is the number one driver. We don't have basic infrastructure in this country and the state of our roads are very deplorable and can only be compared to roads in Congo. For a country that prides itself as the giant of Africa, our infrastructure should be top notch. Do you think UAE, Qatar, Singapore and Malaysia will be where they are now without the beautiful infrastructure they have in place? So if we want to develop as a nation that should be the foundation. You claim they use it to embezzle money, what about other Governors that have been embezzling the money all along without building anything. Have you hold them and ask them to account or refund the money? Okowa received N1.3 trillion pocketed it did not do anything in Delta for anyone to see. Wike received N380 billion and used it to build bridges everywhere and it totally eliminated all traffic in Port Harcourt unlike before which one is better? Asaba used to be way better than Port Harcourt but not any more. Imagine if the Lagos State Government should build such infrastructure in Lagos with overpass and interchange everywhere don't you know it will totally eliminate traffic in Lagos? Do you have an idea how that will improve the quality of life and living of Nigerians visiting or living in Lagos? Good infrastructure is the 1st basic thing any government should provide for its people and that is the number one driver for human capital development. It is very important to go to school and learn, and when you don't know listen and learn from people instead of coming out here to pour out your ignorance. |
Bestmanfornow:Tell me how many flyovers and good roads we have in Nnewi? Please mention them. |
Shame on our Anambra people. What is this nonsense you are showing us here? Go to Jos the former Governor built several of these bridges, not this substandard one Soludo is building and no one talked about it. Go to Yola, Kano, Rivers and see projects no body is talking about, but because of decades of poor leadership, we are busy here celebrating mediocrity. |
richard870:You have coconut head. Then why do you want to Japa? If the leaders didn't develop their country will Nigerians be killing themselves traveling to become slaves abroad? What is wrong if our leaders do the same here. If they had developed our infrastructure do you know where this country will be? |
Hoelujohn:Their country is already developed sir. All the roads are asphalted. Go to ordinary South Africa and see. Won't you be happy if they develop Nigeria like Dubai and Europe? Then why are you against infrastructure cos that is the first thing for them to do. Imagine if all the roads in Nigeria are good with 100% security and zero fear of kidnapping. Imagine if we have beautiful rail system that allows us travel to any where in Nigeria with modern trains. That is what Nigeria needs and nothing more cos it will change the country and millions of investors will pour into the country to invest and create jobs. That is what they did in Dubai Qatar etc, and now everyone wants to go there. Why do you think there are so many whites in South Africa and Kenya despite the high crime rate their? It is because of their infrastructure sir which is lacking here. GEJ didn't build any infrastructure and wasted billions of dollars saved by OBJ. Imagine if he had used the money to develop Nigeria like Dubai and develop all our roads and connect them with rail system, we will all be enjoying it today. But he shared the whole money to people close to him and millions of Nigerians are now suffering over this. |
richard870:The way you guys reason shows total lack of education. Wait let me educate you on the importance of Infrastructure. Infrastructural development plays the most important role in building human capital by improving the physical, social, and economic environment in which individuals live, work, and learn. Infrastructure projects themselves create direct employment opportunities for many citizens that will be employed during the project. Well-developed infrastructure fosters economic growth by enabling businesses to operate more efficiently and facilitating access to markets and resources. This leads to job creation, higher wages, and improved job quality, and future economic mobility. On the contrast investing the money directly in people is totally useless and as good as throwing the money away. Imagine the over 1 trillion Buhari wasted in the ministry of humanitarian affairs during his tenure, if they had used it to build railways and install modern train that traverse the whole of Nigeria do you have an idea the kind of impact it will have on the general public and visitors to Nigeria? We will still be benefiting from it, but when you share the money, people will eat it and shit it and wait for another one, and work done equals to zero. Lastly, why do you think countries like Singapore, Dubai, Qatar etc are where they are? It is because they invested and developed their infrastructures. That is what Nigeria needs and it will turn the fortunes of Nigeria around. I wish 10 percent of our politicians in Nigeria are working like Wike, Nigeria would have progressed very well. We love Wike's work, and for now, he is surely the best we have and no politician in Nigeria today can match his work ethics and dedication to improving the quality of lives of Nigerians. |
No you are getting it totally wrong. Uncle wey mumu. Night school wen this uncle go no let am get sense. How can you report to international court of justice do they have jurisdiction? Don't you know that Nigeria is a sovereign state with its laws and you cannot be invited by law enforcement agent and you will refuse to honour it, or attempt to sneak out of the country without honouring it. You are here showing you crass ignorance about national and international laws. Mumunity + Olodonity = eyezik fire oshe. |
It is not even possible for him to do so. He does not even have the powers or authority to do so. When I saw the news yesterday I just knew it was a figment of those IPOBIDIENT imagination who are clueless on how these things are structured. Go to school and acquire knowledge NO. The only reason they are supporting Fubara is because of the enemy of my enemy is my friend. They don't care whether he delivers or not as long as he is fighting Wike they are fine. But they forgot that Wike remains the best thing that has happened to Rivers State since it was created. He is now in FCT, and also remains the best thing that has happened to FCT since he assumed office. But my people don't care because they believed he betrayed PO and supported Tinubu, you see them calling for his head. To show you the kind of hypocrites they are, Bianca Ojukwu a member of APGA was just appointed Minister, and you see how they are all happy and applauding it, with no one screaming anti-party. |
I agree with you that the situation in the country is quite sad and the government of the day doesn't seem to be on top of the game at all and is not seen to be serious about fixing things. But the truth is PO, is definitely not the solution. He is a packaged fraud brother. We have way better options with proven track records and PO is a false messiah. It is high time we rally round and push such persons now so that we won't continue on trial and error. The names I am throwing up includes 1. Donald Duke 2. Sullivan Chime 3. Emmanuel Udom You are all welcome to throw up your names lets review their track record and performances in office before choosing who we'll back up to save Nigeria from this drift. Magnetboss: |
This is very shameful coming from OBJ who also had zero plans and was clueless about what to do or how to lead Nigeria. While countries like the UAE who's oil production was just 50k barrels per day, and that of Nigeria was 2 million barrels per day, were busy borrowing money from different sources to build the kind of infrastructure they now have, OBJ's only solution to Nigeria's problem was to pay up all Nigeria's debt. This can be likened to a family with an empty land that they have not developed, instead of using money to develop the land and build a hotel, you decided to use the money you would have used to build a standard 5 star hotel to pay up debts you are owing. While your neighbor who doesn't even have the kind of money you have went ahead to borrow money from different people to build and furnish the 5 star hotel. At the end of the day it is you that they used your money to pay debt that will suffer while those that borrowed to develop theirs have paid off all their debts and are now enjoying. That is how clueless and wicked our OBJ, was and to make matters worst, he installed GEJ who didn't commission a single project as Governor of Bayelsa state then to become the vice President instead of choosing Donald Duke who was by far the best Governor in the whole of Africa, that built the then best tourist destination in Africa (obodu Cattle ranch) and Africa's biggest premier resort Tinapa, with the Calabar Carnivals that people from all over the world come to enjoy during Christmas. Imagine if Donald Duke ended up becoming the President instead of GEJ, just imagine how he would have transformed Nigeria. With Donald Duke, there will never have been a Buhari Presidency, and Tinubu's. It was OBJ's wickedness to punish Nigerians that made him bring GEJ who didn't have a track record of deliverables. |
Apart from the short distance Port Harcourt road, which other road did he give to Julius berger? Mrexcell: |
Bro, I think you are wrong on this one. Why do you think a desert like Dubai will have the guts to ban Nigerians from visiting? It is because of infrastructure. Don't forget that Dubai in the 90s was just a desert land like Niger Republic. Their daily oil production was just 50K barrels per day while Nigeria was producing 2 million barrels per day, yet the managed their meagre resources and borrowed funds to build Dubai like it is today while our clueless leaders like OBJ used our money to pay back Paris loans. If OBJ had used the money to build infrastructure to the standard of Singapore, Dubai, Doha, Bahrain, do you think Nigeria will be where it is today? But all our past leaders have been clueless and wicked and only squandered the resources on intangible things instead of building infrastructures that would have put Nigeria on the map, and make it one of the top tourist destinations in the world. Imagine if we have the kind of infrastructures they have in Dubai or in the west, do you think Nigerians will be japaring? You will see the whole world coming to Nigeria to invest and all these unemployment will be a thing of the past as the influx of investment will create multiple jobs and don't forget tourism brings so much funds. It is only someone like Wike and Donald Duke that can change this country's infrastructure. Wike did it in RIvers state and he's doing it in Abuja. If you have anybody living in Abuja ask them, they'll tell you the kind of infrastructure this guy built in just 7 months I have never seen it even in 19 years that I lived in America. Not that fast. So hating him for his attitude makes no sense. We just need someone that will deliver period. babasolution: |
You know what time it is. He is by far the best governor in Nigeria right now. His projects are unbelievable and he is turning the state to a premier state. The quality of roads in Enugu can only be likened to what Wike did in Rivers, yet our people who don't travel wont see it. They will be there supporting Oti who might end up becoming worst than Ikpeazu with his few rubish infrastructures. cn401: |
