There would not be a verification test this year due to COVID. In fact, PwC staff members still work from home currently. That is why the online test by SHL will be highly proctored.

After the online SHL test (proctored), we shall have the following stages:

OPQ (Online Personality Questions): This is to determine your match for the job you applied for.

Then, successful candidates from the OPQ stage will be invited for interviews which will be virtual, say zoom or Microsoft teams or Google meets.

Successful candidates from the interview are then given offers and perhaps engaged in Medicals and Orientation.

okay....this sounds legit.
thank you

Later we will wonder why our country is in a mess. This type of info ought to be at front page the moment it was created. But no....

The mods prefer to send fake and unverified news to front page. Not forgetting news that have to do with yeyebrities and nuditii.

Nairaland's Mods move posts that have the potentials of creating traffic to the front page, post like "nuditii" and "yeyebrities". This thread was created weeks ago it got to the second page this morning because it was moved to FP.
If it was nuditii, even before hitting FP it would have gotten to page 5.....the problem is with Nigerians, we seem to prefer nuditii to PWC recruitment.

The issue of federal character submitting name is true ,the guy with 3rd class in his BSc. Economics from University Abuja rejection is true and his Msc in UK .The guy did nt fall into the category of those people that wrote exam,he did nt apply nor write exam as the recruitment is of two type ,those that wrote exam and those that did nt that is base on recommendation. The letter is genuine,it is carbon copy of the original letter. NCDMB had already reapply for waiver as directed and the recruitment will continue where it stop as the earlier period expired. The guy is my course mate at undergraduate period. Those names submitted did nt write exam only few wrote exam base on the fact that when ncdmb recruitment started the chairlady was nt the FCC chairlady then. Usually if a chairman incumbent sent list for job placement even if another chairman comes an agency can nt reject both. The chairlady would also like to incorporate her own too that is all.Once the pass chairman sent list it has to be considered that is what is happening. The present Secretary FCC was the acting chairman before the chairlady assumed duty last year July,2020 ,so he was the one that started the process and he is still with commission as the oldest staff in which the present chairlady and her commissioners are new in the system.

Do you know if the 150 to be recruited is a sum of both categories or just the merit?

Not really, it was stated mandatory. I wish I still have the 2019 advert. That's why I didn't bother to apply in 2019 when I saw the mandatory clause attached to it but 2021 is different as they stated that it was only an added advantage.

You are right...I just Checked again........it was compulsory.

Msc was mandatory for last recruitment in 2019 but this year's own, it is an added advantage.

It was included as an added advantage just as it is in this recruitment.......but only those with MSc and MSc in view were called for test.

Can someone share the message he passed?

this is what he shared;

" From Source:
1500 persons scaled the screening out of which 900 are GTs and 600 are EH.
120 GTs have first class and an additional 150 have higher degrees most of which are foreign.
150 EHs have PhDs.
the next screening stage will be communicated to applicants in a few days time.
the next stage will likely be physical screening and certificate verification."

the post was deleted because he posted a screenshot from a whatsapp group.

During the period of your 12 months training at least your salary should be between 100 to 150k, with no bonus but free drinks, then after being confirmed that's when you will be paid well both bonuses, shift allowances maybe up to 250 or 300, i guess as you grow with them both job grade and salary increases.
what is on glassdoor is higher than these...........you may be right though.

It’s baffling, especially with the fact that we’ve already given this info on our profiles. Even if they want to scrap candidates without msc, they should already have that info on their database and should be able to make their decision based on that. They seem disorganized

OK none of us here have the correct Information, at least for now. We have no Idea what they aim to achieve with the call..
Its too early to cast aspersion. I have not been called....but I feel we should be patient and watch things unfold.

And what happens if the list does not come out by that specified peroid...then u are a coward if the first order...ever since the inception of this group u have been posting fake and useless information...see what u posted, even the minister can never post an information like this
Are u posting it for us to praise u, or for u to have many likes....u would have started by saying u were told, or u heard, or u saw it somewhere etc...and stop posting information in this manner..u are a fucking applicant like us
Gosh, human being self

If he had posted " the recruitment has been cancelled" or "Politicians have hijacked the process".......
you wouldn't have reacted this way or questioned his source......I have noticed that most guys here are quick to react when something good is posted, but turn a blind eye to negative news.......wait for the timeline to elapse before you react.

Seriously I tire ooo... Must we bring religion into every thing in this country? Religion shouldn't be driving us backward now.
But the guy has a point na........Ramadan can be a valid reason to suspend a recruitment process especially in a FG agency.
