Actually, University of Hull is the cheapest. It is 9000 pounds for postgraduate courses.

They require IELTS from me.

My course is offered at 9,600.

How come no one is considering going to York St. John university tho!

Their tuition is reasonable.It’s 10,300.

I would love to upload the email so you can read and see for yourself what was sent if only it will be deleted after you are done.

I am only trying to be careful with this new application.
Do you think having a consent from court with regards to my previous application makes me stand a better chance this time?

Yes you need a cover letter to explain what happened and why you did not submit your passport for visa.

You don't need a lawyer for this

Good afternoon.

My case;

I applied for dependent visa twice in 2012 but go a refusal after which I applied for a student visa in 2014 got yet another refusal the reason was i didn't tell them who was sponsoring my studies when this wasn't asked at interview.

Fast forward to me taking up the case for Administrative review and was denied took my case up for a judicial review got a lawyer to plead my case.
After every back and forth for over a year Home office decided to settle out of court and pay all my legal fees spent on the case back and asked me to bring my documents for reconsideration of my visa on or before the 25th of December 2015.

However, I didn't bother to go on with my studies as the school(colwell college) I got admission with had been closed down by home office plus i got a new job June of 2015 and a decision was made by December 2015

I lost my full tuition paid to them too because i couldn't get in touch or trace them.

fast-forward to the present day.

I intend going for a Masters degree in September I have gotten admission from HULL and Yorkshire st john to study MBA.

Here are my questions; would I have a problem with the ECOS because I didn't send in my documents for the visa at that time if I made a fresh application this year?

Would a cover letter make up for this?

Do I need to get a lawyer to help me with this? the lawyer that handled my case at the time is on study leave and can't do anything for me at the moment.

Please your advice and guidance would be very much appreciated.

Tell me what you want to know. Do note that, if you want your application processed faster, there’s a particular email you copy when you send a mail to the school. Worked for me.

i have a solicitor in the uk who is representing me but he doesnt tell me details of dis case he only send me mails from the upper tribunal if any
that why am kinda confused.he would only say dont worry u stand a chance with the case.(the solicitor is a nigerian based in the uk tho)
so i really dnt kno if its paper or oral hearing he choose.

@JUSTWISE,the i would like to know how the judiciary works...as i was told that since the judge has decided the first stage in my favour that home office would back out of the case knowin fully well they dont stand a chnce at winning the case.pls @justwise i would like to know how true this is. just curious cause this case has been on since september last year.....tank u so very much for your time God bless u with more wisdm to continue helping pple like me

Administrative review does not involve tribunal hearing, an appeal does. AR is handled by Entrance Clearance Manager(ECM), the ECO basically go through the ECO's refusal points and your AR statement to see if you have been unfairly denied a visa.

If the ECM's decision favours you then ou will be asked to submit your passport for visa.

@justwise i already passed throught that stage since last year after i was refused th ecm uphelp d decison of the ECo
so i took the case to the upper tribunal(judicial review)the judicial review was granted by the judge that looked at my case sayin the reasons for refusal where unreasonable...and asked i paid some amount to proceed with the proceedings in court
a date has not been picked yet for the hearing.

I FORGOT TO STATE THAT I MEET ALL D REQUIREMENTS ...I SCORED 30POINTS FOR MY CAS AND 10 POINTS FOR MY MAINTENANCE AS WELL.

Am new here and really hope to get gud advise on here.

i applied for a student visa to do a masters programme in the uk last yera but got a refusal after 2weeks.stating that i didnt say what i have been doin since i graduated since 2008.secondly that i failed to explain where thefunds for my proposed studie came from.bearing in mind that i had paid my tuition in full and had d required maintenance in my bank account as well.i also attached a letter on the companies letter headed paper from my company wher i work stating i work with them .when aske d what i would do upon completion of my course at interview i said i would come baq to the country to get employment or go to my family business cause the skills i acquire will enable me that.WEN ASKED AT .they also stated in the refusal notice that i have no clear indication of what i want to do upon completion of my course.
i got a lawyer after gettin the refusal notice who advised me that he would file my case in the upper tribunal9judicial review).i just got a decision from court stating my my review has been granted on the basis that the reason for the refusal was unreasonable because they never asked me those questions at interview he also pointed out the fact that there was no specific place in the application form that dealt or asked those questions yet i was refused on those basis....my question goes thus....now that my review has been granted,what is the next step and what are my chances on this case....

not forgetting to mention that i scored 40points tho both for cas and maintenance.
