Please house has anyone experienced this? My husband wrote ielts (computer based) over 6 weeks ago. Results were viewed online but as I send this m, TRF hasn't been received. Mail was sent to BC and the only response from them was the query has been directed to the relevant quarters. This was a week and a half ago. What else can one do. Thanks

Pleas house, how long does it take TRF to land. Computer based test was written on the 22nd of February and still no TRF delivered.

Is an ECA required to secure a job in Canada or it is strictly for immigration purposes?

Good evening house. I need some advice. I started my evaluation with WES in July 2019. When verification request was sent to one of my institutions it was discovered the transcript had errors. The corrected transcript was resent and some time later I was informed that verification request had been made again. The institution claimed that they didn't receive it (three times). I paid for courier delivery to the institution and lo and behold, it was the transcript with errors that was sent to the school. Now the school is saying the officer in charge was changed and there is no evidence of a corrected document sent to WES and thus I have to restart the process. My question is should I keep trying to correct this with WES by starting this transcript sending brouhaha again, or remove the request for that degree from my application and send it to another evaluating body? P.S WES has my highest qualification already but this one with issues also needs to be done but it is holding up the evaluation of the other degrees.

It’s not a problem. In fact, IRCC encourages getting a higher degree as a strategy for increasing your CRS points and they don’t expect you to resign your job while getting the higher degree.

Good morning house. I'd like to inquire if full time work during full time phd is recognised. The program was full time but was run mostly on weekends and after work since there was no course work. Of course this resulted in the program taking much longer that stipulated in the admission letter. Just want to know if the overlap of periods won't be a problem. Thanks

It's the duty & Responsibility of both partner to make the marriage work.

I agree with you to some extent but the reality of the situation is the success or failure of a marriage really does lie with the woman.

In my opinion, we can have it all. Marriage in the early twenties has a plethora of advantages, for sure: Fewer expectations of your partner cause you are just starting out, peak fertility, high libido to please and be pleased etc. But career is one of the few things a woman has control over so she should get on with it. In relationships unfortunately woman have limited control. As long as you desire having a man, the psychology of men cant be overlooked; they want women younger. A young woman has different men knocking at the same time, we need to determine what is our base requirement of a partner, once we see it we take the plunge and not wait for perfection cause it doesn't exist.

I thank all the contributors to this great forum abeg I am about to apply for a family visit visa and the invitation from my sister carries her home address which is a one bedroom apartment she stays with her husband. Is it okay if she rents a place close by for me. I was just wondering if it would be a problem that I am applying for a family visit but will not be staying with the family member. Thank you all
