Was also screened out 65RC for this. Checked last month it was still positive. Someone recommended I take raw quail eggs (3 daily while for weekends 4). That's what have been doing) if I see my name I would check again. Even if it's there. I will still go for the interview. If after two months or three months quail egg doesn't work. Then I would try something else |

ugo4u: What they do now especially for SSC/DSSC is categorising the candidates according to the time they finish the race. There are three batches/Box say Box A(People that complete the race within the specified time maybe 15/18mins) they get the maximum score, Batch/Box B(May get say 6/7 points) while people that enter the last box will score zero. Wow.. Okay.. Nice to know |

Gentlelord: Talking about Minimah, that man pikin go Don be lieutenant now, I remember Wetin on of my close guy wey dem gather face selection board (AFSB) together tell me, him say then Minimah snr was about to be named COAS that was the Jnrs second trial of NDA, that many officers were famzing with the guy, that they were begging baba to tell his father that so and so officer assisted him during the screening, that they had to be teaching him how to run against the 3.2km dash, that because of the boy the normal time for the box to close during the dash was extended till the boy entered lol lol lol lol . That my guy was not successful tho, he only got to find out this year that his name was substituted for the son of the Chief Security Adviser to his then state governor, funny enough the CSA's son couldn't make it through NDA, he is an other rank presently, And it was the same son who revealed everything his father orchestrated to my guy early this year , my guy still dey Treasure the newspaper wey dem tey publish his name over 5years ago. Honestly ba..i attended same interview.. That was 64RC..o boy.. All the board members turn am to picin .everybody claiming this is my boy.. Chai.. That was actually his second interview.. His first interview was 63RC he didn't make the race. His father told him he must make it on his own accord.. Then 64rc he entered.. And as a second or third terma he went abroad |

In debeloped Climes,Government Begs or Even Force it's citizens to partake in military service, buh in our country, reverse is the case, we Beg,go to shiloh, beg good father, give your name to pastor, visit Babalawo et Al just so you join, and after you join, your posted to malete where BH kills you and you started to wonder in your grave why you suffered so much only to be killed eventually. hausadreturn: This is funny. I tell people I want to join the Army and everyone's telling me that I shouldn't try it, and that people are running from it while I'm going there like I'm blind.
But here lies someone categorically telling us that every senior personnel wants their ward in the army.
What is in the army that nobody is telling me? The big men have a way of making sure their wards don't go to the hot zones. Take for example obasanjos son Minimahs son Petirin son (think he is in the Air Force) But for those without this influence You dey go anywhere |

Rahull: Hey frnd, pls don't resign from your job yet. Even if your name appears on the first list don't resign until u make the final. You can take a brk from your work place. Even if a general has assured u of the army job still don't resign yet.
They way I see things, it seems the competition is very high. Evey general wants his wards in the military.
My dad was gistin with his course mate on phone and their gist moves from their usual talk to postings and enlistment talk. The man told my dad that he has told his nephw not to rely on the army job because his hands are shorts. That the big boys have taken over the enlistemnt exercise process.
That's when I realised that all generals are powerful but some are more powerful.
If a general could say his hands are shorts in the exercise then you know what it means.
Just pray for God's favor and dont quit your job yet.
I applied for this ongoin NN enlistemnet exercise and my dad gave my details to his course mate a commodore to work it out.
The list came out and my name wasn't on the list. The commodore's daughter's name came out. When my dad called him, he told my dad that he was asked to give only one name. And you know a man will not chose his friend's daughter over his own daughter. So he picked his daughter.
The commodore told my dad that he's not sure his daughter will make the final list. Because e get as e b. Every red collar officer wants his child there.
I don't blame them. I blame the situation of the country. No jobs.
What am I trying to say? The chances of getting this military job with or without connection is small.
Imagine the need only 3 candidates from a whole state and in that same state there are more than 10 generals and these generals all want their wards enlisted.
So brother think before you act. Same with me. My dads class mate in NMS is a rear admiral (RC) working in the naval headquarters Abuja. Dad is a colonel (DRC) working at AHQ, Abuja. Still my name didn't come out. Am 26, but I already told my parents I won't try the Armed Forces after this year. I just want to shed the final tears and call the military dream career over. First nda interview was 2009 61 RC (quota system was what I felt ruled me out this year, Chief of defence staff at the time Paul dike was from my local government) Second nda interview was 2012 64 RC (board chairman who later went on to become the chief of naval staff was from my state) Dele ezeoba or maybe he was the board chairman for 65rc (can't really remember) Third nda interview was 2013 65 RC ( I don't really remember the details of this year's interview) It's not all states that requires too much connection to get this military job Sometimes your connection may not even have your time. When money speaks, every other thing doesn't matter. I know a major sons that got into nda 65rc and in that same state a Maj Gen son was on reserve list. Connections sometimes are complicated Dssc is even more complicated in terms of connection than SSC Cos a lot feel there is enough cover from combat zones when you apply for DSSC. |
