A South African lady caught cheating with another man, has come out to debunk the story and explained that she was actually with her man.

The lady in a viral video had been spotted at a football game with a man, and another man who seemed to know her was looking behind his seat in a seemingly shocked manner.

The moment was captured on TV and made it to the internet with many speculating that she was cheating on her fiance with another man.

Now, the lady in the viral video has taken to her Instagram page to slam the cheating accusations, while explaining why the man who sat in front of her kept looking towards her direction.

According to the lady, she was actually watching the match with her man, and the man who sat in front of them was watching replay action from the screen behind them.

The man that initially shared the false accusation story was however blasted by social media users for not confirming the story before posting online.

The daughter of the Chief Whip of Katsina state House of Assembly, Bello Abdu Danmusa has been reportedly kidnapped.

Hajiya Amina Danmusa is married to Muftahu Yakubu Ciro in Danmusa Local Government Area of Katsina State, where the incidence occurred.

According to Daily Trust, although no ransom has so far been made, sources close to the family said the incident took place when the bandits attacked her residence purportedly to kidnap her husband who wasn’t available at that time.

Attempts were also made that night to kidnap another elderly woman, Baba Maiwaina, who sustained injuries and was abandoned by the abductors.

In a similar development, a Medical doctor, Dr. MJ Yusuf’s two children were kidnapped by gunmen in Jibia town, Jiba Local Government Area of Katsina state.

It was gathered that the abductors stormed his residence picked up the wife and the two kids at about 1 am on Monday night.

Sources say the wife fell off the motorcycle of the abductors along the way but they went away with the two kids.

Already, N100million have been asked for the release of the children.

A 39-year-old father and his 21-year-old daughter have been arrested for incest, according to Grand Island Police Department.

On January 29, Travis E. Fieldgrove and Samantha H. Kershner were arrested. GIPD said the case relates to the two being involved in an intimate relationship beginning in September, 2018, in Grand Island, Nebraska, U.S

Court records indicate that the two married at the Adams County courthouse in Hastings. Both Fieldgrove and Kershner are charged with felony incest.

Kershner allegedly told officials that she wanted to have sex with Fieldgrove because she was in a “jealous competition with her half-sister regarding who could have sex with their father.”

Despite the fact that budding actress, Haillie Sumney, decided to quit her nursing career at the Riverside Hospital, USA, for acting in Africa, she seems not to have forgotten her background as a nurse.

During a chat with Saturday Beats, the rising star stated that from talking to her friends about sex-related issues, she had come to realise that a lot of African entertainers have a high risk of contracting STDs and HIV simply because they do not like to use condoms during sex.

“Many African actors stand the risk of contracting Sexually Transmitted Diseases and HIV; I say this because African people can be very promiscuous and a lot of them do not believe in using condoms or using protection. They feel like they are ‘supermen’, and that HIV is not real.

“I have friends and I talk to them, especially my male friends and a lot of them say that they do not use protection because they do not like it and that is the only reason that they give. When you mention HIV, a lot of them act as if it does not exist. So I would say that a lot of them are susceptible to HIV and STDs.

“This is one of the reasons why I want to have a section for health on my television show; to educate the youth in a fun and laid back way. I also hope to have seminars, rallies and school visitations, where I would talk about these issues. It is a very big issue but we do not talk about it. We will go to hospitals; there are a lot of people dying of HIV. There are a lot of people that have HIV and do not even know that they are living with the virus because they have not tested themselves.

“As for me, I practise what I preach. My parents own a TV station in Ghana called Mission Africa TV and I will anchor a show there called, Vibe With Haillie, which is in the pipeline. It is a talk show that focuses on health-related topics, as I have that background. I would be giving health tips and discussing health issues as well as entertainment,” she said.

Born to a Ghanaian mother and a French father, Sumney said though she loved her time as a nurse, she offered the course to please her parents.

“I offered to study nursing because of my parents. They did not really see my vision as an actress and initially, they wanted me to have a professional degree. I enjoyed nursing but it was not my true passion and when I got back home, I decided to chase my dream.

“I worked as a nurse for about two and a half years and I enjoyed taking care of people because I have a good heart. I worked at Riverside Hospital, which was not far from the university that I attended. I enjoyed the job, to be honest, but I felt it was not really my calling. I enjoyed it while it lasted,” she said.

While asked to compare Nigerian and Ghanaian men, she simply said, “If I am going to compare Ghanaian men with Nigerian men, it will depend on what I am looking for. If I want ‘wahala’, headache and no rest of mind, then I would choose a Nigerian man, however, if I want to be taken good care of, I would choose a Nigerian man. Ghanaian men are very relaxed and sometimes they could be lazy. So, it depends on what I am looking for.”

The actress, who has been shuttling between the US, Ghana, and Nigeria, also advised Africans desperate to leave their countries in search of greener pastures abroad.

“I was not born with a silver spoon in my mouth, though I lived abroad for a long time and that is the mentality that most people have. When people hear that you are based abroad, they think that you are rich but you should see the way people are struggling abroad. For me to leave nursing and return to Africa; if it was so good, then why would I have left?

“Even if you are making money, it is spent on paying bills. The American system is all about paying bills and that is why I tell people who want to relocate abroad that they should just go to school and return to Africa because it is very easy to make it here than there. I say that they have a ‘zombie’ system whereby you would work like a robot and keep paying bills; to me, you cannot excel that way,” she said.

The popular street dance, Shaku Shaku, has come and gone and has fast been replaced with another dance, Zanku. However, the origin of Zanku did not become an issue till popular Nigerian comedian, AY Comedian, claimed on his Instagram page that he was the founder of the dance. To buttress his point, he posted a video of himself dancing at one of his AY live concerts many years ago.

Many people believe that the Zanku dance was made popular by Zlatan Ibile.

But AY Comedian, who has about 4.7 million followers, said, “Anytime the prophet AY comes on stage, he does the Zanku dance. That is Prophet AY’s credit; the origin of Zanku will be thrashed to AY live.”

Following this video, there were speculations that the comedian was aiming to get the credit for the popular dance.

“I am not contesting it (Zanku) with anybody. I just called people’s attention to it jokingly for them to know that I did a similar dance long ago. Let’s leave the credit for the one who made the dance popular. But before River Niger was discovered and named, I am sure there were people who swam in it,” he said.

Asked about how he has been able to stay successful in the entertainment industry, despite not being considered by many people as the funniest comedian in Nigeria, AY said it was a proof that talent is not enough.

“It is good to know that you know AY is not the funniest comedian in Nigeria. Consistency and hard work in many ways have confirmed that talent is not enough. Within the entertainment circle, we all have our strengths and weaknesses.

“It is like saying someone is the best student in mathematics without complementing it with other subjects, you can compare him with the student who gets an average in maths and 100% in other subjects. The general and continuous assessment would push the weaker mathematician towards success, I believe,” he said.

Asked about the secret behind his successful marriage, he attributed it to the grace of God and the fact that he married his friend.

“Staying married is not what anybody can brag about. Some people are just lucky to enjoy grace by marrying their true friends who can tolerate their excesses. My wife and I approach our marriage with the idea that we will both work together on “being married” every day. Staying married for me and my PA (Personal Angel) is a daily work in progress.

“We don’t ignore problems when we first notice them. We work on them before they fester and explode. We try to treat each other like a date and with respect too. We try not to take each other for granted,” he told Saturday Beats.

A female member of an armed robbery gang, who specialized in robbing Uber drivers, have been arrested.

Also arrested along with the lady are two members of the gang identified as Zino Tochukwu Ude and Anumelechi Chris Williams. The police however did not disclose the identity of the female member of the gang, saying that she was helping them to get at other fleeing suspects.

Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Imohimi Edgal, said that on October 19, 2018 around 11.30 am, an Uber driver picked a female passenger from Oniru to Orchid Hotel by 2nd Toll-gate, Lekki, unknown to him that the woman belonged to a gang of armed robbers. .

Edgal said that on their way to the said Hotel, the woman asked the Uber Driver to pull over, to enable her collect money from her boyfriend.

According to him, the driver obliged her request and pulled over, in the process, three armed men emerged and robbed the driver of his Toyota Corolla car with Reg. No. KRD-827-EY, his two phones and cash sum o N20, 000.00.

And that thereafter, the robbers zoomed off with the woman. “During interrogation, they confessed to the crime and aided operatives to recover the stolen car. .

They equally confessed to series of car snatching operations in Lagos and other contiguous States. They also led the operatives to recover one Honda Saloon Car with Reg. No. GGE-954-BQ which they snatched in Delta State” he added.

The Lagos State Police Command, on Thursday, announced the arrest of five armed robbers, who allegedly killed two victims while robbing people of their valuables in the Agege area of the state.The command said its operatives, who were mobilised to the scene of the robbery, gave the suspected robbers a chase that resulted in the arrest of one Damilare Adegbayibi.

The state Commissioner of Police, Edgal Imohimi, while briefing journalists, said Adegbayibi and his gang members had killed one Alayiwa and Ibrahim Akinbumi during the attack, adding that the captured suspect led the operatives to arrest Ojesola Osundairo, Bashiru Suleiman, Rasak Osunmade and Haruna Ibrahim, who also participated in the robbery.

Imohimi said, “On Saturday, January 26, 2019, around 1am, information was received from members of the public that some armed robbers were having a field day along Adewumi Adebisi Street, Agege, Lagos, robbing unsuspecting victims of their valuables.

“Based on the information, a combined team of operatives from the Dopemu Police Station and the Special Anti- Robbery Squad, Ikeja, swiftly mobilised to the scene. On sighting the operatives, the robbers ran in different directions to avoid being arrested, but they were chased, leading to the arrest of one Damilare Adegbayibi and the recovery of a cut-to-size locally-made single-barrelled gun with four unexpended cartridges from him.

. “On closer examination of the robbery scene, two lifeless bodies were found on the ground. Further inquiry revealed that they were stabbed to death. The victims were later identified as Alayiwa, surname unknown, a security personnel attached to the street, and one Ibrahim Akinbumi, a resident of Adewumi Adebisi Street, Agege, Lagos. .

. “The suspect (Adegbayibi) later led the operatives to arrest four other members of the gang namely: Ojesola Osundairo, Bashiru Suleiman, Rasak Osunmade and Haruna Ibrahim, from whom two additional cut-to-size locally-made guns with six live cartridges were recovered.”

One Olasunkanmi Yekini, was on Thursday, arraigned before an Osun State Magistrates’ Court sitting in Osogbo for the alleged theft of three pants belonging to a lady.

The 19-year-old herbalist’s son, it was gathered, allegedly stole the pants and a Tecno mobile phone in Osogbo.

PUNCH Metro gathered that one of the stolen pants had a blood-stained sanitary pad.

The police prosecutor, Inspector Muslim Jafani, said Olasunkanmi broke into the room of one Folashade Ganiyu at No.12 Ibokun Road, Oja Oba, Osogbo, on January 28, 2019, around 10am.

The accused was said to have stolen the pants and a Tecno phone valued at N5,050, an offence the prosecutor said was contrary to and punishable under the Laws of Osun State of Nigeria, 2003.

Jafani said police operatives in a patrol van rescued the accused as a mob had descended on him.

The accused pleaded not guilty to the two counts of on theft and breach of peace.

Olasunkanmi pleaded for mercy, saying his mother was dead and that his herbalist father would not come to his rescue.

Magistrate R. A. Olayemi, in her ruling, promised to give the case accelerated hearing.

She ordered that the accused be remanded in the Ilesha Prison and adjourned the matter till February 4, 2019, for hearing.
