Nigerian man identified as Dibia Obinna has been deported by Kenyan authorities, after police accused him of being a drug and human trafficker. His deportation followed his arrest in Nairobi and after interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiangi signed the deportation order, reported The Standard newspaper. Obinna also known as Agumuo Nnamdi was arrested after being on the run for a month when immigration and police announced they wanted him for questioning in connection with an incident in which 27 Nigerians were seized from an apartment in Kilimani area of Nairobi last month. The 27 Nigerians were deported immediately. They had entered Kenya as businessmen when officials were alerted. Officials said Obinna is linked to cases of drug trafficking and human trafficking in the region. He posed as a consultant to Nigerian high commissioner and chairman of Igbo community in Kenya. He was initially linked to another Nigerian, Anthony Chinedu who was deported in 2013 over drug trafficking claims. The Standard reported that the police were puzzled how he managed to evade police web in the last few years, amidst a campaign to remove suspected illegal immigrants engaged in criminal activities. More than 1,000 foreigners have been deported from the country in the past two years in a campaign that officials say is aimed at sanitizing Kenya. Most of them were in the country illegally and were engaged in illegal activities including drug trafficking and gambling. The chairman of the Okene branch of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP Musa Adelabu has allegedly been abducted by unknown gunmen. The Kogi State chairman of the party, Sam Uhuotu, who confirmed the incident in a statement on Sunday, said gunmen dressed in military uniform invaded Adelabu's house and whisked him away at about 1 am on Saturday. The chairman further lamented over the constant harassement of PDP members by men dressed in security uniforms. "PDP says no amount of threats, harassment and attempts to intimidate its members and supporters by compromised security agents will deter it from standing together in victory, with the people of Kogi state in the November 16 Governorship election. The people of Kogi state have already made up their minds to vote out APC which has only brought excruciating poverty, deprivation, suicide, wanton looting, impunity and total disregard to the wellbeing of citizens and nothing can detract from the people's resolve to free their state from the oppressive clutches of APC" the statement reads. "PDP alerts Nigerians on how gunmen dressed in military uniform have been invading homes of PDP members including the Chairman of Okene LGA chapter of the party, Musa Adelabu, who the gunmen abducted to an unknown destination. Only three days ago, another vocal member of the PDP in Kogi State, Abdlu-salam Kunaye, was picked up in a similar manner. PDP has information that the assailants were sponsored and detailed by desperate elements in APC that have become frenetic over the overwhelming rejection of their party in Kogi state. APC is aware that it has already lost grounds in Kogi state, following its woeful performance in the last four years under the out-going Governor Yahaya Bello, and as such, it is seeking ways to muscle its way by manipulations, harassment, coercing and bullying, which will be resolutely resisted by the people of Kogi State" Spokesperson of the Kogi State Police Command, William Aya, however, said the police were not aware of the abduction as no one reported anything of such. “It is only when we get such a report that we will treat it as an issue but for now, it ’s not an issue ,” Aya said. Diezani Alison-Madueke has denied claims made by the Buhari-led government and the EFCC that she embezzled Nigeria's money while she was in office. The former Minister of Petroleum Resources had a no-holds barred interview with media personality, Dele Momodu, where she refuted claims that she embezzled Nigeria's money while in office. I did not steal Nigeria Mrs Diezani denied allegations that she made oil magnates like Chris Aire, Kola Aluko, Tonye Cole, Igho Sanomi, and many others rich after she had intimate relations with them. She made it clear that she is a married woman and was never in such habits. The former Minister denied vehemently allegations that $20billion disappeared from the coffers of NNPC when she was in office. She dared anyone with proof to come forward to substantiate the claims that she stole from the Nigerian government. I did not steal Nigeria She went on to express her displeasure at Nigerians who have villified and attacked her person, despite the fact that she used her office to make many of them rich and not the foreigners as it was in the past. She pointed out that before her tenure, the petroleum industry was exclusively to enrich Foreigners and a few Nigerians but when she came in, she identified Nigerians who could do the job and decided to empower them. She wondered why she would be villified for this. In the interview, the former Minister denied claims of having a running battle with former first lady, Patience Jonathan. She said she had much respect for Mrs Jonathan as she was the wife of her boss. She also refuted claims that one of her sisters got intimate with former president Goodluck Jonathan and had children for him. Read excepts from the interview as recounted by Dele Momodu below “ Is it true that a sister of yours has a kid or kids for President Jonathan?” I asked. “That is totally untrue as I don’t have any such sister or relative!” she said. She wondered how people could fabricate such blatant lies.Sew more photos here; http://gistmore.com/diezani-alison-madueke-cries-out-in-new-interview-denies-being-intimate
