The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) in Niger State disclosed on Friday, November 8th that 12 lives were lost in an accident on Friday in Gwacipe village of Gurara Local Government Area of the state.

While giving details on the accident in Minna, FRSC Sector Commander, Mr Joel Dagwa, said it involved DAF Trailer with registration number KMW 08 AX and Toyota Hiace with registration number SSU 08 XA.

Dagwa said the accident was a result of overspeeding and dangerous overtaking. He appealed to road users to obey traffic rules and regulations to avoid crashes. He said: “the accident involved 25 people, 12 of them were killed while nine sustained injuries and taken to Federal Medical Centre, Gawu for treatment. All corpses have been deposited at the hospital.”

Comedian Woli Arole has expressed gratitude as he graduates from Metfilm school in London.

The comedian revealed that he had to leave his comfort zone to braze the cold so as to learn new things.

Big Brother Naija 2018 housemates, Tope Adenibuyan, have concluded plans on their white wedding.

Celebrity fashion designer, Toyin Lawani, revealed on Friday in a post on Instagram that she had begun plans for the wedding.

She did not, however, reveal the date of the wedding.

“@IamTeddya’s wedding preparations have started, and you already know Your no1 celebrity stylist and designer got a lot up her sleeves for my nigga Teddy See you all in Dubai, ist stop my workshop in Istanbul ,” she wrote.

BamBam married Teddy A on September 7 in a traditional ceremony in Ogun State.

They had announced their engagement on Instagram on August 4.

The lovebirds made headlines for their relationship during and after the reality TV show.

In May 2018, they were the cover stars for the love edition of The Celebrity Shoot magazine where they talked about their relationship and brand.

Ayefele, at the special dedication and thanksgiving service, disclosed that his decision to present his babies to God at CREMIC was to extend his gratitude to God for answering the prayer he made at the church four years ago.

The elated father of triplets, #yinkaayefele, thanked his wife for her patience and support all through the four years of waiting upon God, as he said it was four years ago he said a silent prayer to God to give him a child. . . “I was here four years ago for the thanksgiving of the licence of my radio station, Fresh F.M. I prayed to God quietly to bless me with a child in this auditorium and to my surprise, He did it now in the open. It was beyond my imagination when he granted my prayer. I cannot thank Him enough. “I want to specially appreciate the General Overseer of the church, Pastor P. F. Owa, and the entire church for their prayers and supports. I also thank my wife for her support, my entire family and that of my wife and fans all over the world,” he added.

The event was attended by clerics, royal fathers and musicians, among other dignitaries.

Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State has urged the state Police and other security agencies to ensure that killers of Mr Patrick Kumbul, the Head of ICT Unit at Harvest FM Makurdi are arrested and brought to justice.

Recall that the Benue Police Command on Sunday confirmed the assassination of Mr Patrick Kumbul, head of ICT, Radio Nigeria Harvest FM Makurdi, and one Shongo Wuester by unknown gunmen in Makurdi.
The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Sewuese Anene, had said that the victims were killed on Saturday night.
Anene said the victims who were killed along Amokachi Lane, Low Level Makurdi were already deposited at the mortuary while the Police have commenced full investigation into matter.

Reacting, Ortom, in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Terver Akase on Sunday described the killing as unacceptable.

He urged residents of the state and neighbouring towns to volunteer information that would lead to the arrest of the killers.

The Governor also sympathized with the entire Kumbul family, Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria and Harvest FM staff in particular over the painful loss.

He prayed that God grant the deceased eternal rest.
