Fashion / Christian Weddings Today!!!! by gitsaro(m): 7:24am On Nov 03, 2013
Certainly, the devil must be laughing. You may ask: the devil laughing at who or what?
Surely, at some of the actions of those who CLAIM to be BORN-AGAIN, but busy copying his STANDARDS, STYLES and WAYS of Life, in the false hope of converting him that is already condemned.

Have you been to certain CHRISTIAN WEDDINGS, very importantly, THEIR RECEPTIONS, recently

I ask: Who Deceived Believers into the Fraudulent concepts as:

i. GOD has no Standard, come as you are and remain as you came!
ii. Knowing GOD is in the Heart, regardless of outward appearance!
iii. Sowing SEED is the key, irrespective of Life-style!
It was D. L. MOODY that said; “A HOLY LIFE WILL PRODUCE THE DEEPEST IMPRESSION. LIGHT HOUSES BLOW NO HORNS, THEY ONLY SHINE”.

How can a Christian Sister, who claim to be filled and controlled by the Spirit of GOD, submit herself VOLUNTARILY unto the hands of a daughter of Jezebel, who decorate her from frightening demonic looking artificial finger nails with all sorts of scary colours, to all manner of painting of the eyelashes, thick lipstick to conform to the colour of clothe.
How about the dressing proper, with that of the “Ashoebi”-according to Evang.C. Jesuit, now dress in the trendy, almost naked modern day civilized dress pattern, sampling and exhibiting all the conceivable female anatomy; copiously highlighting all the contours, provocative nudeness and aggressive solicitation of sexual immorality. All in the name of Christian wedding? Hmnnnn! These things take one rather to the gate of Hollywood or Nollywood, rather than gate of Heaven.

What is really happening to some of our Sisters/mothers. Why must I struggle to identify a Christian Sister by her dress code? Does it not make meaning to you that Christian Sisters ought to have a pattern of dressing? The Bible says in Proverbs 7v.10, about

Family / TOO BAD!! My Wife Came Home Without Pant - Husband by gitsaro(m): 4:42am On Jun 29, 2012
Husband of a former Commissioner in Edo state, David
Erhabor has told Benin High Court 9, that his wife of 15
years once came home without a pant on her.
Erhabor was testifying in a divorce suit instituted by his wife,
Florence Igbinigie-Erhabor, a former Commissioner for Women
Affairs, under former governor Lucky Igbinedion.
In the suit before Justice Anthony Erhabor, the respondent, (David
Erhabor) told the court he never envisaged a broken home in his life.
He said, however, that trouble started after his wife was
appointed commissioner by former governor Lucky Igbinedion, when
she suddenly resorted to keeping late nights.
He added that there was a time the wife abandoned their two
children, absconded from home for three days, only to be caught
red handed inside a vehicle, romancing and kissing a man who had
earlier tear-gassed him.
“There was a day she came back home drunk and without a pant on
her. She was in the habit of keeping late night,” Mr. Erhabor told the
court.
He further disclosed that it took the intervention of a former
Managing Director of Delta State Oil Producing Community
Development Commission (DESOPADEC), Wellington Okrika, to
resolve some of their numerous squabbles.
Erhabor equally said his wife had at a time demanded for N1 million
from him before she could allowed him have sex with her, saying
that he ran out from home wearing only pant when he sensed that
his wife was about to kill him via hired assassins.
On the position of the petitioner seeking divorcé and the issue of
the custody of the children, the respondent opined that the children
can always stay with whomever they choose when on holidays.
The petitioner, Mrs. Igbinigie-Erhabor, amongst others is asking the
court to grant her devoice on the grounds of threat to life, violent
assault and infidelity on the part of her husband, Mr. David Irabor,
also a former Senior Special Adviser to governor Oserhiemen
Osunbor.
The former commissioner who has since 2009 separated from
her husband arising from irreconcilable differences, equally demanded
that the husband paid her the sum of N150,000 monthly for the
upkeep of each for the two children and to pay their school fees.
While under-cross examination by the respondent’s counsel,
Akakhomen Austine, the petitioner said besides the embarrassment
the rampant violent attacks caused her while serving as
commissioner, the husband had also at a time squeezed the children
inside a vehicle and threatened to set them ablaze, adding that it
took the prompt intervention of members of both families before
there was peace.
She said ever since then she took sole responsibility of paying the
children’s school fees who currently live with her in her family
house.
She said she relocated to her family house when she suspected
that her husband was after her life following the invasion of her
private residence by robbers on two occasions.
She also accused the husband of having extra-marital affairs with
the house maids.
Justice Erhabor adjourned the case till 4 August, 2012 for further
hearing.
Car Talk / The Low-tech $6,000 Car Made For Africa by gitsaro(m): 4:35am On Jun 29, 2012

When computer engineer Joel Jackson arrived in Kenya in 2009 one of the first things he noticed was the state of the roads. He had come to the country with a non-profit organisation to help small-scale farmers increase their productivity, but he soon realised that a more pressing problem existed.

“It became clear that the lack of appropriate transport affected many parts of rural Africa,” he said.

So he set about building something that would fill that gap – a $6,000 (£3,850) car. Mobius One, as the first vehicle was dubbed, was built by local welders and mechanics. The car was stripped of all the luxuries that Western drivers take for granted.

“It had a tubular steel frame and off-the-shelf parts. It looked like a dune buggy, took 10 months to build and cost $14,000 (£9,000),” said Mr Jackson. But it worked, and that was enough to persuade him to quit his day job and move full-time to his newly formed company, Mobius Motors. Attracting attention He raised a quarter of a million dollars in venture-capital funding and used some of it to recruit a team of engineers to build the second
prototype, Mobius Two.

“We eliminated all non-essential features. The important thing was to make sure it was rugged and durable because African roads are highly degraded,” he said. The car, completed in September 2011, had far more detailed engineering and design. It cost $15,000 and took three months to build. Joel Jackson hopes to provide “the car for Africa”

“We drove it around Kenya and it performed well. When we drove it through Nairobi people routinely came up and asked where they could get one,” he said. For Mr Jackson the ability to buy a new car designed specifically for the African market will appeal to the growing African middle classes. He aims for the finished vehicle to be sold for $6,000, which, he said, is cheaper than many Kenyans pay for a second-hand car – a four-year-old Toyota, for example, sells for around $8,000.

Social impact
Second-hand cars in Kenya are expensive because customs, excise and VAT add a huge amount to the price tag.
“A brand new off-road vehicle will cost around $60,000,” said Mr Jackson. There are currently around 800,000 cars in Kenya, with around 80,000 sold each year. The vast majority of these are second-hand and many are bought to sustain a business rather than for personal use.

“People cram around 12 people into a car and run an informal public transport route,” Mr Jackson told the BBC. A car designed specifically for off-roading could be “an asset to run a business with”, he added.

“Mobius has the chance to change the transport network in Africa. Access to transportation means access to education and health services and that is the social impact of the project,” he added.

“My ambition is for this to be the car for Africa and I’d like to see hundreds of thousands of them produced each year,” he said. So far he has 15 pre-orders with another 100 in the pipeline. The production run this year will be modest, at around 50, but he hopes to scale that up to 400,000 a year in the next decade.
