The US President has refused to concede to Joe Biden since media agencies projected the Democrat won 306 electoral college votes in the November 3 elections.

Despite losing his legal challenges so far to the electoral results, Trump late Sunday night, November 29, 2020 took to his Twitter page to state that he didnt lose the election.

Gunmen suspected to be kidnappers abducted a young lady in Port Harcourt, the Rivers state capital.

It was gathered that the lady was kidnapped on Sunday morning, November 29, on her way to church.

Her brother, who confirmed the incident on Twitter said the incident happened beside the Anglican Church along the Rukpakulusi New Layout in Port Harcourt.

Governor Mai Mala Buni has fired back at his critics who have accused him of being largely absent from the state since he took over as the caretaker chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The Yobe State Governor in an interview with BBC, stated that he has been discharging his duties effectively even when he is not in the state. Buni added that he has spent at least three days in a month in the state.

Some Suspected Boko Haram members have reportedly beheaded 43 farmers in Borno state.

According to HumaAngle, the attack happened on Saturday evening, November 28 in Zambarmari, a community that is less than 20km from Maiduguri, the state capital.

Barcelona football club have reached an agreement with their playing squad to slash salaries by €122 million (£110m/$146m) over the next three years, the club has announced.


The club has been forced to make cuts to their budget after La Liga authorities imposed a lower salary cap upon the club last week, so the club could offset financial difficulties caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.

However, the club announced it will still pay out €50 million (£45m/$60m) per season during the three year period on wage packets.

Business-man files lawsuit against EFCC for allegedly seizing his properties even after 'nothing incriminating' was found on him after his arrest

Nigerian businessman has filed a lawsuit against the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for allegedly seizing his properties.

According to Linus Williams, nothing incriminating was found on him after his arrest yet his properties haven't been returned to him.

Williams who alleged that the anti-graft agency seized his three cars, a Benz C300, Benz ML 350 and Lexus Es350, after his arrest, said only one was released. Other seized properties he listed include his phones and laptops.

He wrote;

Demand Notice to @officialefcc , After the unlawful and unwanton invasion of my private residence by corrupt Efcc officials,
The Efcc Enugu zonal command till date has refused to release my properties and valuables which were unlawfully seized from me.

Ghanaian actor, Majid Michel has shared his thoughts on why marriages don't last anymore.

The Ghanaian actor who has been married for 15 years said the problem is the foundation.

He said most people begin relationships thinking about sex. As a result, after they've had sex, they do not know how to be friends.

Justice Adie A. Onyebueke of the Cross River State High Court, Akamkpa, has sentenced one Augustine Effiong Bassey to five years imprisonment for stealing N27 million, belonging to a microfinance bank, where he was a branch manager.

He was prosecuted by the Enugu Zonal Office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, (EFCC), on a one-count charge of stealing. The charge read,

“That you, Augustine Effiong Bassey (‘m’), sometime between 2010 and 2012 at Uyanga, Cross River State, within the jurisdiction of the High Court of Cross River State, with the intent to defraud, stole the sum of N27,300,000 (Twenty-seven Million, Three Hundred Thousand Naira), being property of Ekondo Microfinance Bank Limited and thereby committed an offence punishable under Section 390 of the Criminal Code law, CAP C16 (VOL 3) of the Laws of Cross River State of Nigeria,2004 and punishable under Section 390(9) of the same Law.”

Villagers gathered in awe to get a glimpse of a large crocodile killed in a village in Anambra state.

The man who killed the crocodile tied it on his motorcycle to take it home with him.

When asked, he said he killed the crocodile in Abata Umueze. The crocodile was shot dead.

In a viral video making the rounds online, the man who killed the large reptile mentioned that the crocodile is deadly and takes people in the water where it kills them.

Premier League side, Manchester United are reportedly being held to ransom ‘for millions of pounds’ by cyber hackers who hacked into the club’s IT systems.
The Red Devils confirmed in a statement that they were the victims of a "sophisticated operation by organised criminals".
A club statement read: "Manchester United can confirm that the club has experienced a cyber attack on our systems.
"The club has taken swift action to contain the attack and is currently working with expert advisers to investigate the incident and minimise the ongoing IT disruption.
