PoliticsRe: Kwame Nkrumah, Was His Ambition To Unite Africa A Selfish One? by glamrocka(f): 2:34am On Apr 30, 2006
Ndipe

you have a very good point there, there could have been a self serving motive behind the idea, but also one that might have taken africa to a much respected height. Though i wonder what it would have been like if those dreams were realised. For one Africa would not be in such a sorry state. A continent so vast and naturally blessed could certainly pull resources together to enrich and better each state. Great idea,it certainly would have given african leaders one goal. but who know?

God bless Africa indeed. smiley

I share some of your sentiments, but i fear things have changed too much for this to happen. well this might sound so cliche' but i always say it starts from every individual, unless there is individual reflection and change , any struggle to change collectively will eventually be hampered by the very same individuals.
FamilyRe: If You Found Out That Your Beloved Dad Is Dating Your Best Friend by glamrocka(f): 7:13pm On Apr 29, 2006
Is her dad divorced from her mom ?

Dont know about this one. I guess if it were me, i could not be friends with her after this, just be a cordial relationship. I'll find it uncomfortable . I'll be nice and all but couldnt be matey with her, i mean c'mon when it comes to chatting about reltionships,as girls do, do you think i would want to hear what goes on in her's and my father's love life? if we can't share those things any more then real friendship is gone.

HealthRe: What Do You Use When On Your Period? Tampons Or Pads? by glamrocka(f): 7:01pm On Apr 29, 2006
Dont know how u girls do it. Pads urgh, they remind you that you on your period all day, they heavy, run risk of stain etc. not for me. You girls are brave. Tampons make you so free, you forget you on period.
Music/RadioRe: Kiss My Money Maker by glamrocka(f): 4:33pm On Apr 29, 2006
oh ty bluenubian for answering on my behalf , i think i spelt what i meant perfectly. wink

Hey take it or lump it, we don't like the music and thats our opinion.

again it was CRINGE WORTHY and bad yah fallow?
Yes appreciate good talents, but i don't subscribe to the mediocre just because they happen to be Nigerian. Its thesame reason things don't change, you all think if you shout the loudest  you the best. Sorry some of the artistes are pathetic and i choose not ot settle period.

I have given my opinion and i wont reiterate, or get in any arguements, state yours guys free country and all that bollocks

HealthRe: What Do You Use When On Your Period? Tampons Or Pads? by glamrocka(f): 1:21am On Apr 29, 2006
Tampons girl here

I used to use pads but hated them. My friend introduced me to tampons many moons ago, i was trying to insert it and i was oohhing and aaahing, she looked me up and down and said ''like you've not had bigger things up there before'' anyway she talked me through it and i got it in and have had no troubles since grin.

It feels perfect for me, you got to find the right size for your flow and make sure you insert it all the way to eliminate the discomfort. keep the string hanging and oh dont worry it wont disappear inside. I forgot whether i had taken it out once(yes really embarassed, i used the lillets, real small ones) , i found that out after a very embarrassing trip to A&E only for the nurse to tell me how silly i was and there was nothing inside me.

They gave us AIDS, then later they'll give us financial AID huh huh
Bann Cnn from africa? and do you have an african network that will report the truth? cause i know the govts would rather tell of one programme or the other which hardly reaches a fraction of needy people and hide the suffering.

Who gave african's aids? Cnn? or the west? embarassed this is kinda dumb , i dont even want to get into it and take this thread a diff direction. Have a word huh People need to take responsibility and not blame the west for everything

huh huh huhhuh! have you been to america? alot of african american women are big at the ''back''

Chelly i wish i knew the answer to your question, maybe you just appeal to african men generally, some black women appeal to white men generally too.(how ever its interesting cos sometimes there are certain characteristics present in these cases)
Girl i dont know, important thing is do they treat you right? if so then good for you.
