Thank you for hitting the nail on the head, i saw this picture and i felt even though she looked dressed up for the wedding,something was off, and you helped me figure out what it was, this outfit and the head piece or probably the angle it was placed on or the angle th epicture was taken from looked like what i would find in my mom's album. So yea it looks like a throw back(to the eighties) ....lol

Yea I can understand that people are breaking boundaries in styling appropriately for an even but comm'on ,when there's a a colour theme for a wedding like that of Solange you mentioned, why then be the rebel on that person's special day. Solange and her Hubby chose white and even her Grammy award winning sister respected the couple's choice of colour . This isn't W.E.R.K.I.N.G for me at all....lol

YESSS!!! it is definitely the lace trimmings and where it was placed on the dress.

This is why i like this thread , everyone brings in their opinion on what is off and what is spot on in an outfit posted here.



The makeup is okay , but really even if this dress came in purple and black , or even in one of my favourite colour pink and black i will still not go gaga for it on Genny. Something's off , and i think it's the head piece or something... Still observing though.

So Genny tried to steal the spot light at someone'else's wedding by doing the unthinkable,WHO WEARS WHITE TO A COLLEAGUE'S WEDDING! !? ?

If you can remember , she was the face and brand ambassador for MUD cosmetics , well here she is attending the wedding of the CEO M.U.D cosmectics Onyinye Onye something ( cant remember her surname).

Now having gotten that off my chest , i think this dress is just boring on her . What do you think ?

Ini , Ini , i would have let you go but you need to find your self something that can enhance that lovely figure of yours , your purse is nice , the outfit is ok , just not hitting you in the right places,so GO HOME AND CHANGE!

I don't like her pose , and i sincerely hope that by the time she takes off those braids she will have some hair left on her edges . Don't like the hair on this outfit at all.

The colour and design of the jump suit is nice , but there's something wrong with the fitting , may be because she is pear shaped and the fit of the dress isn't working for her figure,especially around the torso and hip.

Oh nooo , what is that ? Are those puff sleeves meant for flying , she should flap her wings one more time. Honestly this dress on Amanda is not working for me at all, and i'm sure it's neither working for the ''People's" Choice Award.

VERDICT

The shoes look okay and thats just it , its about time we arrest someone here for fashion crimes , I'm getting my hand Cuffs out because she really doesn't look good in this dress at all , and the hair , she didnt even make an effort to style her hair , and I'm going to be blunt on this look. She looks like she was forced to attend this even and just decided to look ridiculous .

I don't know about you guys but i'm loving this look ,but just so to be fair here , i'll say she did okay , the hair is lovely ,the shoes uuuhhmmm ...fair , the blouse and skirt not bad.

I like this skirt for two reasons -

1. Because ,for crying out loud ,aren't you all tired of pencil skirts, i know i am ,so This is a very good deviation from the popular trend.

2. The length is just right and the pleat detail gives me something to look at.

Come on guys its Agbani , and yes if after 14 years you expect her to remain the same then there's a problem , I think there's this hatred for girls with skinny ankles and legs when it comes to shoes,Not every one is gifted with Yam legs and i like mine just the way it is ...lol .

wow, i like the outfit , the blouse is doing a lot for her clavicle ( other wise all we would be seeing will be bones all round the neck , which is not a bad thing though ) giving her a well structured silhouette .

@bluelover the skirt is not bad, she's well dressed for her age and and the hair is really nice , i would dress like this any day.

VERDICT


I give her a P that's all i can say,her hair is gorgeous but the white under wear is what killed this dress for me.

Lets move on to the next picture please.

ohh now i see it clearly , she wore a white under wear to block all the cut out details , i actually thought that was part of the dress. so she only left out the sleeves. I still think it was appropriate because maybe if the under wear was black ,i don't know is still like the dress, imagine if she didnt cover up underneath ,and wore it like those i often see on instagram...lol
