I am going to be blunt on this look on Eku , I DONT LIKE IT AND I SPEAK FOR EVERYONE ELSE HERE WHEN I SAY THAT THE TOP IS HIDEOUS , AND YES WE DONT HAVE ANYTHING AGAINST SKINNY PEOPLE BUT FOR FASHION SAKE SHE SHOULD EITHER DRESS AND DISGUISE THE BONES EVERYWHERE OR EAT MORE...lol.

WRONG SHOES FOR THE SKIRT . THIS LOOK IS BAD BAD BAD . SORRY EKU. THE ONLY REDEEMIMG THING HERE IS THE MAKEUP WHICH I LIKE.

@zoelife I used to wish the same thing too , i absolutely love this lady , but i'm not God so i will not judge someone's built, but i know what you mean because if she had a bit more flesh in certain areas ,she will really look stunning , but then again , i have to give it to her that she understands her body and dresses so well to suit her figure all the time.

Ok i like the skirt , i like the colour of the skirt but the accessories in this look are a bit confusing to me here ,aaannd i'm not really feeling the style of the shoes in this look , in fact i'm a bit undecided whether its good or bad

My apologies for cimmenting without waiting for the verdict on the previous picture. The truth is I didnt look closely to see if it had been given so I saw amal and taylors pics and just assumed the verdict for the other pixs had been given.

anyways I'm back. So will help out more here.

Mrs Clooney has really elevated her wardrobe and style pics ever since being married to Mr clooney ,Kudos! Taylor for the sake of the hides and skin that was used in making those hideouse booties i will suggest you go and Hide them....lol.

Now I beg to ask these questions before I vote for who wore it better.
1. Is Amal looking up to Taylor for inspiration or what?

2. Are they both obsessed with Oscar de la renta designs or what?

3. Is Oscar de la Renta obsessed with these two ladies ...lol.

I ask this because this will be the first time I will be seeing two celebrities repeating the same designer TWICE.

Now to who gets my vote , Mrs Clooney ofcourse. I love the way she styled her hair in this outfit.

VERDICT

Genny, Genny, i have to commend you for making black not look so boring , the neon pumps was a good choice . Anything else would have been a bit too casual for the Design Launch.

I would have loved to see a bit more make up on the eyes though just so to make the face a bit more lively. You did good , so i'm going to sum up the rest of the comments everyone has posted here by saying. Kudos!

oh it's a dress , i thought it was a play suit/ romper . Still like it though.

I like the style , but i'm not really big on hats so it looks kind a weird when i see it on ladies. I love her shoes. She looks great

Thanks guys for all the comments , personally you will not catch me dead in a dress paired with any kind of slippers or flip flops.

I guess we can say that skinny ankles don't do well in ankle strap sandals according to style experts.

Like some other suggestions here ,I also think the cream colour combination with the chocolate colour is very appropriate especially if you have a dark to medium skin ton Like the picture of Gabrielle Union below. If you are more on the lighter skin tone then stick to bronze colours and Gold ,but not the bright shade of gold,if you do decide to use a brighter,sparkly shade of Gold A little tip here is to use less fabric of the Bright Gold and more of the chocolate fabric when making the dress/outfit. Hope this helps.

Ok guys here's a picture of a Blogger in a striped Dress. I'm just going to let you all do your thing and let us know what you think about the look. I didnt rhink this would be that difficult for me to choose but it is. I like them both. The first picture I would say is quite laid back bohemian chic like @thatgurlvixen pointed out. But I think I have to go with Nicole because she really glammed up the dress, I love her hair and lipstick. That lip colour is trending everywhere now.Nicole gets my vote.

VERDICT:

I 'll have to give you an A for taking the bold step and putting up your pics here but the over all verdict is just too casual for an indepth decision or verdict. So all in all a Pass will do.

Well i would have loved to see your foot wear , and an up close picture of your makeup if you have any. But being a lover of pink I think I like your top.

Yea at first I thought Taylor looked a teenager in the dress. May be its my love for green that's making me love the way she styled it. Still looking at the pictures though.

I love it when a designer outfit appeals to all age groups, like this Oscar De La Renta floral dress worn by George Clooney's Bride-to-be Amal Alamuddin who is in her thirties and Taylor Swift who is in her twenties.

So it's another Who wore it better or rather WHO STYLED IT BETTER segment.



To be honest, i'm not that crazy about the dress nor the design but I kinda like the way Taylor swift styled hers with a green ensemble. Amal just did a mix- and - match , the only thing i like about her style in this dress are the shades , the fringe bag which is trending by the way is a no-no for the dress.
You guys know that she's a brilliant lawyer , but there's been a debate in the hollywood scene as to her sense of style , which many say needs a helping hand , and sincerely she does need a stylist because some of the things i've seen her put together just seem like she doesn't care to make an effort , Really ? seriously Amal ? and you're going to be the next Mrs Clooney. Better go and get a personal stylist

Eku usually dresses so well , but there's a bit of colour discomfort here that isn't helping her here at all,even though she looks okay here I am going to go with Rita because I absolutely love Rita's hair and she's practically working this goegeous dress.

Rita gets my vote and I love her smile , and her make up thanks to zaron I guess since she's now the face of zaron cosmetics Nigeria.

I think I am just going yo go ahead and give the verdict on this look before it gets really boring.

Dress is boring for a birthday girl

Shoes are not appropriate at all

Hair and nake up is average.

All in all the look is just average.

added weight?? she was never slim in the first place , i've always known her to be on the big side or should i say curvy side, it looks like her feet is bursting out of those sandal heels.

The dress isn't that flattering on her ,and the colour of the dress isn't doing her any good either. I am still taking a look . brb

People this is intimidation ,or should i say inspiration, i went back to start working out because of this picture....lol ( jogged for 30 mins ,skipped for 15 mins and did some heart pump aerobics for 10 mins today) who knows if i keep up with it i may look like this when i'm 46 Honestly She just commands clothes with her body.
