Ok. I can cook, I can knack ... please sponsor me to travel: lady begs Nigerians https://www.nairaland.com/8237102/cook-knack-lady-begs-flight |
A Nigerian lady who introduced herself as Imeh Mary Beauty, a 21-year-old from Akwa Ibom, took to her Instagram handle to plead with Nigerians to help her book a flight, even if it's just from Lagos to Abuja, before her international passport expires. She explained that she has never flown on an airplane before. Holding her international passport in her hands, she called on popular Nigerian bloggers like Tunde Ednut, YabaLeft, and others for assistance. She said, "This passport is about to expire, and I have never traveled by air before. Please help me book a flight. I am very hardworking; I can clean, I can cook, I can knack, and I can even be your side chick or second wife." Showing off her passport and travel bags, she added, "I got this passport for ₦100k and bought these bags for ₦40k. Please, Nigerians, help me. I am single, not in any relationship, and I am hardworking." Watch the video, share your thoughts in the comments....... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E287kki4Xs4

TossTos:Yea, the man isn't actually saying people shouldn't do those jobs entirely; he's cautioning that if you must do them, you need to be very careful. |
A Nigerian man has taken to his TikTok account to advise fellow Nigerians moving abroad about certain jobs they should avoid or approach with caution. officialwdhtv:I don’t even know whether to laugh or just let you revel in your ignorance. I don’t see any boasting in my comment, but take it however you wish. Typical Nigerians, always trying to cut corners. You know the rules, yet you proudly break them, or you’re simply ignorant and proud of it. My concern isn’t what you choose to do, but stop misleading others, as they might not be fortunate enough to even get accepted in the first place. Just because a thief keeps stealing and getting away with it doesn’t mean they won’t get caught one day. Claiming to be doing well in the YPP when you can’t even boast of earning $300 a month is laughable. I’ve already checked and evaluated your channel—sigh😌 Since I can see you're not the type willing to learn, I’ll let you enjoy your “I am doing fine in YPP” attitude🚶🚶🚶🧍 Besides, none of your mentions will ever be worthy of my response again. Bye.

officialwdhtv:Honestly, one thing I am good at is ignoring unnecessary mentions, especially on a ridiculous claim like this. However, for the sake of those whom your post might mislead, and because I often see many aspiring YouTubers making such errors here, I feel compelled to address it properly. Firstly, there's absolutely no way you will be accepted into the YouTube Partner Program by posting other people's videos without adding value. This practice falls under the category of 'reused content'. If you claim to be in this niche, as I am, and you're not providing original voice-over content, then I must assert that you are being dishonest and misleading. I learned this the hard way and have since used my experiences to coach other up-and-coming creators. That being said, I could have easily ignored you and let you enjoy your misconception. However, this serves as an eye-opener for those here who may be going about things the wrong way. Don't wait until it's too late! Edited: Oh, wow! I just checked out your channel, but please take my advice now so you won’t regret it: Start adding commentary and other elements to your videos, or else... Make sure to bookmark my comment. 😌😌😌😌😌 |
Internet users have praised the New York City Police for their professional handling of a lady who climbed and laid down on their car bonnet. The lady, who seemed to appear out of nowhere, approached one of the police cars parked in an open space and suddenly laid down on it. She then brought out a cigarette and held it in her mouth while passersby watched in amazement, with some pulling out their phones to take pictures as if she were a supermodel on a movie set. After some time, during which the police appeared to be appealing to her to come down, she finally reached out her hand, and the officers gently helped her down. It seemed that one of the officers wanted to hold her accountable for her actions, but she was ultimately let go when another officer arrived on the scene. The lady was then filmed doing a shaking dance move before walking away as if nothing had happened. haybhi1:Thank you for your observation and suggestion. However, it would have been more civil to express your point without being abusive. I actually don't owe you any explanation given how you addressed me, but to clear up any misunderstanding: I am part of the YouTube Partnership Program, which has certain standards. Without commentary, you would simply be wasting your time, as you will never be accepted into the YouTube Partnership Program. I’m sorry if you have an issue with the voice; it’s called a voice-over. GlimpseTV aims to be a global platform, and certain practices are necessary to achieve that. We’ve also made it easy for you by providing transcriptions in case you find the accent difficult to understand. I apologize, but we are only willing to learn from someone who is doing the right thing, not someone you presume is doing better. Have a great day, and thank you. 😌😌😌😌 |
Nigerian activist Martins Vincent Otse, known as VeryDarkMan, posted a troubling video on Instagram showing a woman accusing airport staff of extortion. In the video, the woman claimed she was forced to pay ₦5,000 for each bag, leading to a heated exchange with the staff. She also alleged that she was assaulted by officers at Muritala Mohammed Airport. The woman threatened to pay ₦1 million to popular bloggers like GistLover and Instablog to spread the word about her experience. In response, the airport officials insisted they were only carrying out their official duties and denied any wrongdoing. VeryDarkMan made it clear that he wasn’t paid to share the video and promised to investigate the situation. He also blamed the airport staff’s behavior on low salaries and called on the federal government to raise their wages. In his post, he tagged the Minister of Aviation, Festus Keyamo, and questioned the legitimacy of the fees. "When did these charges start for passengers' bags? If true, will we soon pay for the air we breathe in Nigeria?" he asked. Watch the video and share your thoughts in the comments. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5LYDEPmMaFQ?si=B9tKqSED7fSxSL6T

Lol. May we have the kind of wealth that gives us peace of mind. I pray for all of you today, no matter the economy and condition of this country, you will never beg to eat 🙏 You will be so rich that even if you want to fly a private jet alone like Otedola, you will do it conveniently! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pImOs9snc7o |
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LUczVG9OMLA Nigerian activist VeryDarkMan has criticized Reno Omokri following a recent post in which Omokri shared a photo of himself shaking hands with President Tinubu at the presidential villa, stating that he spent Independence Day with the president. In response, VeryDarkMan played a video of Omokri protesting against Tinubu during his visit to the UK (Chatham House) during the 2023 presidential campaign. VeryDarkMan then read one of Omokri's past posts about Tinubu and asked, "Reno Omokri, what are you doing with someone you once called a drug lord? Do you want to learn how to sell drugs? I'm just curious, o; it's none of my business! You can clearly see that you lack integrity. By the way, I won’t pretend I didn't know that you begged a lot of people to help you meet Tinubu. I saw many people you pleaded with to arrange a meeting. In 2023, you were campaigning for Atiku. I know politics is a dirty game, but at least have some integrity." A lady created a dramatic scene during Ruger’s performance at a show where his mother was in attendance. She boldly handed over her pink panties to Ruger, and after accepting them, Ruger said, "Guys, my mum is here; I can't be doing this." However, Ruger added, "I won't be touching you too much, let's just dance and entertain the crowd." Unfazed by the crowd, the lady confidently displayed her twerking skills alongside Ruger, while the audience cheered.
