A Nigerian lady who introduced herself as Imeh Mary Beauty, a 21-year-old from Akwa Ibom, took to her Instagram handle to plead with Nigerians to help her book a flight, even if it's just from Lagos to Abuja, before her international passport expires. She explained that she has never flown on an airplane before. Holding her international passport in her hands, she called on popular Nigerian bloggers like Tunde Ednut, YabaLeft, and others for assistance. She said, "This passport is about to expire, and I have never traveled by air before. Please help me book a flight. I am very hardworking; I can clean, I can cook, I can knack, and I can even be your side chick or second wife." Showing off her passport and travel bags, she added, "I got this passport for ₦100k and bought these bags for ₦40k. Please, Nigerians, help me. Typical Nigerians, always trying to cut corners. You know the rules, yet you proudly break them, or you’re simply ignorant and proud of it. My concern isn’t what you choose to do, but stop misleading others, as they might not be fortunate enough to even get accepted in the first place. Just because a thief keeps stealing and getting away with it doesn’t mean they won’t get caught one day. Claiming to be doing well in the YPP when you can’t even boast of earning $300 a month is laughable. officialwdhtv:Honestly, one thing I am good at is ignoring unnecessary mentions, especially on a ridiculous claim like this. However, for the sake of those whom your post might mislead, and because I often see many aspiring YouTubers making such errors here, I feel compelled to address it properly. Firstly, there's absolutely no way you will be accepted into the YouTube Partner Program by posting other people's videos without adding value. This practice falls under the category of 'reused content'. If you claim to be in this niche, as I am, and you're not providing original voice-over content, then I must assert that you are being dishonest and misleading. I learned this the hard way and have since used my experiences to coach other up-and-coming creators. That being said, I could have easily ignored you and let you enjoy your misconception. However, this serves as an eye-opener for those here who may be going about things the wrong way. Don't wait until it's too late! Edited: Oh, wow! Internet users have praised the New York City Police for their professional handling of a lady who climbed and laid down on their car bonnet. The lady, who seemed to appear out of nowhere, approached one of the police cars parked in an open space and suddenly laid down on it. She then brought out a cigarette and held it in her mouth while passersby watched in amazement, with some pulling out their phones to take pictures as if she were a supermodel on a movie set. After some time, during which the police appeared to be appealing to her to come down, she finally reached out her hand, and the officers gently helped her down. It seemed that one of the officers wanted to hold her accountable for her actions, but she was ultimately let go when another officer arrived on the scene. The lady was then filmed doing a shaking dance move before walking away as if nothing had happened. Nigerian activist Martins Vincent Otse, known as VeryDarkMan, posted a troubling video on Instagram showing a woman accusing airport staff of extortion. In the video, the woman claimed she was forced to pay ₦5,000 for each bag, leading to a heated exchange with the staff. She also alleged that she was assaulted by officers at Muritala Mohammed Airport. The woman threatened to pay ₦1 million to popular bloggers like GistLover and Instablog to spread the word about her experience. In response, the airport officials insisted they were only carrying out their official duties and denied any wrongdoing. VeryDarkMan made it clear that he wasn’t paid to share the video and promised to investigate the situation. He also blamed the airport staff’s behavior on low salaries and called on the federal government to raise their wages. In his post, he tagged the Minister of Aviation, Festus Keyamo, and questioned the legitimacy of the fees. "When did these charges start for passengers' bags? If true, will we soon pay for the air we breathe in Nigeria?" he asked.
