Zimazonte Ezekiel, counsel to the Federal Government, while addressing the media, has claimed that all 67 boys arraigned for allegedly flying the Russian flag during the recent Hunger protest are adults.

Ezekiel told journalists on Friday, after the court ruled that each of these minors should be granted bail for N10 million each, adding up to N760 million in total.

“These boys in court today are not minors,” he said. “Most of them are actually married men, and many have even graduated from university. The young kids here today only came along with their families to support their loved ones.

“They aren't even the real suspects on trial. These boys were arrested in Kaduna and Zaria. Do you realize how much effort has gone into building our democracy? And now, these young people are trying to destabilize Nigeria, waving Russian and other foreign flags, even calling on the military to remove our president.

"Is this fair? Some of them even want to remove the governors. If they don’t want democracy, are we forcing them? Everyone is freely enjoying their rights here. No one's rights are being abused.

Everything is running smoothly in the country, yet, out of nowhere, these boys started protests with Russian flags and flags of other countries,” he added.

VeryDarkMan explained that he spent the night in the same cell with these kids, and they were all arraigned in court today.
