Governor Ademola Adeleke received an award of appreciation from Governor Seyi Makinde during the commissioning of the 8.2km Agodi Gate/Old Ife Road.

The Governor of Osun, Ademola Adeleke, praised the performance of his Oyo counterpart, Seyi Makinde, describing it as a 'great motivation'.

In his remarks at the project commissioning, Governor Adeleke highlighted Governor Seyi Makinde's performance in Oyo State as a significant inspiration, not only for Osun State but also for other states in the Southwest.

The Osun State Governor, who was obviously enjoying himself playing the talking drum during the commissioning program, immediately handed the drum over to a man beside him as his attention was called to receive the appreciation award from Engineer Seyi Makinde, the Governor of Oyo State.

Later, Governor Ademola Adeleke revealed on his official social media handle that immediately after the commissioning of the 8.2KM Agodi Gate - Alakia Adegbayi Road in Ibadan yesterday, they proceeded to a stakeholders' meeting of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in the southwest region. He stated, "It was a great opportunity to consolidate our efforts in uniting PDP leaders and followers across the southwestern states."

He also disclosed that at the event, they unanimously endorsed Mr. Kamorudeen Ajisafe of Osun State as the Southwest PDP Chairman, charging him to lead in uniting members and leaders of the party in every state of the southwestern region.

It's worth noting that the Agodi Gate/Old Ife Road and Alakia-Adegbayi Road are among several other projects Governor Seyi Makinde has completed as part of his Omituntun 2.0 plans for the people of Oyo State in his second term.
