I and my friend are working in the same ministry as Pharmacist and same grade level of 10, going to 12 this February. We met yesterday and he was given the post of CBSS 08, step 3. Please any one in the house with a knowledge of what it stands for with regards to pay and when will he be due for promotion. Cos i guess if im lucky, my grade will be same as his. And he is seriously thinking about picking the offer cos he fears is not commensurate with his present level (Though if na me i will not think twice before dumping this civil service job). It all depends on your course of study. Lab-based courses are more expensive. Check cranfield site for fee info ofo your chosen course. You cld still wait a while as the NDDC scholarship value may be revealed to scholars at the briefing on wenzday.

It all depends on when they choose to notify us. The public holiday is just oct 1st.

mouxman: Scientist235......be real man. Which info do you have again There's nothing anyone can say. The list is very much with the MD and he can say when he wants it out. The directorate of education cannot and I repeat cannot say anything concrete at this time. This is just speculation. Nothing concrete will come out on monday, if it will I'd have known by now.

scientist may be correct. I was informed last week that the director of education travelled. I don't know if he is back now. The list has to be received by him before any actions, such as invitations. I pray things go well next week.
