My husband's on a tier 4 visa which expires January 31, 2022.

I'm applying for a dependent visa now. However when i got to the IHS surcharge part, i discovered the fee was 0$.

I was worried, but saw a part that reads:
You usually need to pay the healthcare surcharge if you’re applying for a visa or immigration application:
for more than 6 months, if you’re applying outside the UK

Then i realized, this could be as a result of the fact that the main applicant (my husband) does not have up to 6 months left on his visa.

Has anyone been through this kindly?
Is it normal i dont pay for the IHS surcharge based on this situation?

Thank you, please, if he get another Admission from another school for the January intake ,2022 and get enrollment letter, pls , can he use it to enter or must it be from the same school or related program ? I would appreciate your input , everyone. Thanks

Sorry about your situation. Yes enrollment letter is a requirement for him to even board a plane from Nigeria. But assuming they do not ask for enrollment letter, now he does not have admission at the moment, so what will be the purpose of going to Canada? What is your plan? For him to get another admission while in Canada? Most schools have closed admission window for Winter 2022 too. He cannot change DLI outside Canada also except he applies for a new SP. I think the best is to keep writing and calling the school for them to re instate him for the fall 2021 and pray for a change of mind.
Someone on this NL had same issue though for hers, the school had not resumed but she was eventually re instated.

I’m not a gurus ooo, but as your cousin paid his/her full tuition fees? because most of these school always have the deadline for full tuition fee and this might be the reason why the admission was cancelled coz his/her non refundable fee is just to secure seat.

The school has replied,said can defer to Sept 2022 ,I hope if we finally got him another Admission for January, I hope he can still travel to resume January class in another school?

Of course you can use payslip n confirmation of employment OR Credit card limit certificate . There is no obligation to use both . As long as u provide legit documents n the amount is sufficient u should not have any issues. This week atleast 2 people I know personally only used payslip n confirmation of employment and got their Wiza.

The amount will depend on several factors including cost of tuition , living expenses including accomodation n the city u going to . Generally a legitimate payslip from 550k a month and up from a sponsor should be sufficient for MOST cases. But you need to do your calculation . Read previous posts. I already posted at length in regards to calculating your financial burden.

Guys as long as your financial documents are legit n amount sufficient u should not have any issues with finances on your visa application, whether u use cc or payslip.

I have been following this thread and I got a lot of information from here, so I promised if I get my visa I will also share my experience.
Applied for masters program
Documents submitted at the embassy are
Admission letter
Documents used in securing the admission
Insurance
For proof of fund I used my sponsors pay slip+
( note he is not related to me in anyway) first i submitted statement of account and luckily one of the polish woman corrected me that there is no where it was stated that statement of account is proof of fund.
Accommodation and flight RESERVATION.
and a lot of PRAYERS.
pls feel free to ask any question about my experience.
And yes I got my visa.

Yes, the one you said you downloaded, open it and follow the procedures I had outlined earlier. If you want them to send it, write an email to them

Refix:
The embassy should have sent you a confirmation mail titled "e-Konsulat, potwierdzenie rejestracji".
Check your spam folder to confirm properly.
If there is nothing there, still, go on the date and time stated on the printout you downloaded after booking online.

You can only book legalization on Friday.
Go to the “Legal Matters” page.
Choose your country and consular section.
Solve the math question that appears.
If you’re lucky you’ll find a drop down menu to select appointment time.
If you’re unlucky you’ll most likely have to refresh and solve the math as often and as swift as you can.

Check the last page of the form sent to you, there you will have the visa appointment date allocated to you. Do not hesitate to get back to us when you get it. It might help other people in your shoes.

U are not obligated to provide both. It’s either one or the other. If u wish to do both it’s ok but not required.

good afternoon and I appreciate your great job here and input so far ,I have read up to 32 pages of this platform bf I just created my nairaland account now, pls my first question is that, does it mean that if ones sponsor provide his employment letter, payslips, his promotion letter,notarized letter of sponsorship, does it mean that there's no need to provide the credit limit certificate? If yes, has anyone applied visa without credit limit certificate and got the visa here recently?.
My second question is that when I asked my account officer at first bank, he gave me a sample,will upload here , I want you guys to help check if it's the one requested by the embassy.
My third question is that of the accomodation contract, my brother school accomodation contract stated that he is to pay upon arrival,is that ok?
My last question is that can one go for the visa appointment before the legalization and authentication of docs? Though yet to get appointment date.

There is no best bank . Most of the major banks like access, first bank, fidelity, UBA etc will do a cash backed cc.

CC can be in any currency doesn’t matter. Just has to be legit and from a Nigerian based bank.
