Is the Imo state governor who bought N600 million Christmas tree, erected statues of foreigners etc while owing salaries, driving on bad roads etc not an Igbo man elected/allowed to rule by his fellow Igbos huh
You are deviating from the intended purpose of this thread. I explicitly say that the Igbos can change Nigeria technologically.....

Can you explain this a bit more? Who is actually unpatriotic to the Nigerian state? Those who suppress fellow citizens or those who are suppressed?
We've refused to use our technology to advance Nigeria since we are suppressed.

Nigeria, the flop created by a very racist Brit undermines very aspect of prosperity. This is evidenced as schoolers refers to it as a "dreg of humanity". Though Britain bundled us together to fail, and we could not devide the country, how about rewriting our story by addressing the following issues?

1. Religious and tribal chauvinism:- Our opinions are still deplored to the lady who decided to place her Islamic values above the rules of a federal established university. While many condemned her, few who are more Islamic than the hermit kingdom of Saudi Arabia, bewailed and threatened law suits. On the tribal side, the Hausas will not vote for a decorated Igbo candidate, so as the Igbos. While the Yorubas are less tribalistic.
And for the record, I didn't vote for Buhari on the last elections, and won't vote for him in 2019 as he was never competent. The north should present another Yar'Adua, and he or she will have my vote.

2. We praise mediocrity:- Development is measured by the standard of living of the populace. But by Nigerians, it's measured by the fleet of cars one is having, not the basic amenities like uninterrupted power and water supplies, affordable health care system the government usually provides elsewheres. We don't criticise the government, we applaud them when they dig wells for us.

3. Excessive emigration:- Thanks to the economic hardships, many talented Nigerians good enough to fix our deplorable systems slips away. The late heroine, Dr. Stella Adadevoh, through whom we were able to contain the deadly Ebola outbreak, was a British trained doctor, who returned to Nigeria and paid the ultimate price. (May you continue to rest in peace ma'am)

4. Formal education is not a priority in the North:- Take it or leave it, No country will prosper with great proportion of energetic illiterates.

5. The worst set of leaders:- There's no long epistle on how our country has been raped without protections by dotards as leaders.

6. Igbos are not patriotic:- Thanks to the obvious quota system dis- franchise, they're not a major owner in the state. And these are people blessed with technological knowhow ready to drive the country to the next level if incorporated.

7. We are all corrupt:- Make no mistake, Buhari was never wrong when he tagged us corrupt in front of the world. We place our personal values above the national pride.

8. Non-diversified economy:- Should we address half of these problems and failed to diversify our economy, we squat again!
The future is greener!!

9. Poor maintenance culture:- Our national stadium in Abuja was left overgrown to house reptiles and rodents. It was so awful that President Buhari had to vacate his office because of rat invasion in the supposedly seat of power. Our roads are death traps because their are not maintained. Shame!

10. We kill for fun:- Nigerians are killed for sports in South Africa, back home we kill ourselves for treasure; either for worthless rituals or for fun by the ignored cultists, while licensed killers (SARS) compliment the less.

Bonus. Our military is a joke:- Despite being the most populated black nation on earth, we still lag extensively behind smaller countries in Africa.
Settling with mediocrity, our soldiers are still armed with blunt Ak-47, second world War Era fighters, crude bombs, war canoes; simply put, refurbished soviet weapons.

can you just see the only thing your people are good at.. cannibalistic animals that they are..

As shared by Kingsley(reports have it that it happened in Aguluzigbo in Anambra)...
'This is a situation where a mother nd her two son's joined hands in killing there father at 9nt at 10.00 when everyone must have gone to bed nd bit up his wife, collected 20,000 from her, this is the money the husband gave to her to take care of herself nd de unborn child. They finally succeeded with there by killing the man nd buried him under a plantain tree. So it is not good to marry two wife nd there must be peace in the family, if there is no peace there will be war'.

The whole of Anambra is less than Ado-ekiti, but look how unkempt the working environment looks....(A clear example of what is obtained from the whole of that shithole). LasGidiOwner, look at your shanty Anambra, where women are the palm wine tappers to feed lazy cretins like you.

Hehehehe

It pained you..lol

Ebonyi people are gala hawkers in the day and becomes kidnappers and armed robbers at night.

There are more Ebonyi people living in Anambra than Ebonyi people at their home land. Ebonyi people are cursed Igbo slaves. Lol
The same way there are more Anambra criminals in foreign prisons, than the left over been governed by a drunkard.
PoliticsRe: Umahi’s Contract Accountability Prowess by Goahead(m): 8:23am On Dec 15, 2017
LasGidiOwner:
What a piece of backward state. Ebonyi people are nomadic gala hawkers across Africa of which one of them is John Igwe(achi4u). Only 5% of Ebonyi people are living in Ebonyi, so it is so easy for this useless governor to dig gutter as achievement. Ebonyi people are not Igbos but descendants from Taraba. cheesy
And here comes again the Anambra scumbag, who only travel to his endemic muddy hamlet when one of his ritualistic grandparents dies.
The Anambra we know is a pre-medieval enclave where abuse of humanity, drugs peddlings and fraudsters fosters.... This same state is the exporter of all forms of criminals in and outside Nigeria.

Nweze1986:
Umahi,s contract accountability prowess

By Philip Nweze

One of the many achievements of Ebonyi State governor, David Umahi in the outgoing year is his ability to sustain discipline in the execution of contracts awarded with tax payers money.

Absence of such vigilance in the past was the greatest mistake made by his predecessors which formed the pivot of their failure. They awarded contracts and never bothered to supervise them either because the money was never coming from their pockets and so they weren't feeling the pain or because they were using it to compensate their cronies and lackeys.

Umahi will give contract, and regardless of who is supervising it; insist that it will be done and delivered according to specifications. This long established principle does not spare any sacred cow. This is how he has been able to achieve towering trail-blazing infrastructural profile for the state and closure of our leaking purse which has been going into individual pockets. He has broken the cartels that siphoned our collective sweat into private fortunes.

In today Ebonyi, procedures for award of contract has been practically reborn. The governor doesn't believe in dishing out piecemeal approach to projects execution or in using contracts to settle "boys". No. Here in Ebonyi, requisite link and connections don't get you contracts. Expertise and track record of performance does.

We say welcome to this new regime of accountability.

In the spirit of of #ENDSARS campaign, I am hoping my askewed encounter with those villains, and that of millions of Nigerian young peoples will send a message to our lawmakers to scrap that depraved unit of Nigerian police force.

On that particular day, me and my elder brother were going Alaba international. At Mile-2, these Ak-47 wielding robbers called me to search the polythene bag I was holding. Inside the bag are defected chargers I was going to replace from where I bought them. One of them asked me for the receipt' "officer, these were bought in bulk, we are going to Alaba to buy goods and have these ones changed, there are defected sir". His response was, "bring the receipt or go and enter that bus over there". Luckily for me I was having the invoice of our last consignment. I reached for it and handed it to over to him, he still wasn't convinced as he asked us to enter the bus. In there they told me that he did not see any list of charger in the invoice, for that, we are going to the station to explain ourselves. After an hour of driving, they stopped by a police station and asked us to settle them or risky been taken into police cell. I told them we don't have any money, one of them searched me and found money, he then changed the story and accused us of robbery. Then, my whimpering elder brother asked them "how much?" 20K for me and 5K for your brother. We ended up paying them 7K.
There you have it Nlders, these people are criminals, they must be scrapped.
