PoliticsImo Holds Over 200 Trillion Cubic Feet Gas Deposits by GodHatesBigots(op): 10:34pm On Apr 18, 2021
Serious efforts are being made to take out 100 million Nigerians out of the poverty level before the next decade, the federal government reiterated this commitment through the federal ministry of petroleum resources during a two day national gas expansion programme, (NGEP) in Owerri, Imo State.

Timipre Sylva, former governor of Bayelsa State, now Minister of State Petroleum Resources, said this at a 2-day programme of the NGEP organized by the Imo State government in collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Petroleum Resources .

“The programme is geared towards the implementation of Mr President’s promises to take 100 million Nigerians out of poverty in the coming decade by ensuring that locally produced as well as available, affordable and acceptable fuel is sufficiently supplied across the country,” he said.
According to him, Nigeria is richly endowed with mineral resources specifically crude oil and gas. He disclose that Imo State holds a substantial quantity of gas with over 200 trillion cubic feet and upsides of over 600 tcf, informing that gas is a catalyst for socio-economic renaissance .

Even as the year 2020 had already been declared a year of gas, heads of inauguration of committees on national gas expansion programmes was done on January 16, 2020 but the federal government has declared the year 2020 to 2030 as the decade of gas, he noted.

NGEP , according to him “is an initiative designed to reinforce and to expand gas supply as well as to stimulate demand in Nigeria, through the effective and efficiient mobilization and utilization of all facets of resources and infrastructure in Nigeria”.

NGEP will also promote the use of natural gas as the main energy source for sustained industrialiazation through the establishment of gas based industries, such as petrochemicals, fertilizers, pharmaceauticals , textiles, etc, he said, that the programme had already taken place in Ekiti and Anambra states.

Another objective of NGEP is that human capital will be developed and jobs will also be created in the gas subsector. And on the implementation strategy, he said, “while the year 2020 was dedicated to harmonious creation, the year 2021 and beyond is for programme implementation”.
He commended governor Hope Uzodinma for his commitment, passion and support for the programme and enjoined Imo residents to embrace the programme.

Governor Hope Uzodinma who spoke through the Speaker of the State House of Assembly Paul Emeziem, described the programme as that of change, loaded with cost, efficiency and sustainability alternatives among others.

The governor commended the federal government for initiating the programme adding that it is a progress in the area of development and civilization of mankind.

“The federal government has done its bit and it is a process of enhancement and our life process and it will create employment opportunity for our people” he stated, even as the programme attracted goodwill messages from a number of Imo state government officials.

If this struggle was about taking out corrupt and bad governors, if it were against lack of infrastructures not delivered by the governors. I will believe, you cannot begin from outside yo want recognition when you have npt sorted the inside first.
So what do you do while fighting for good governance when your people are being killed by wanton crime, fulani herdsmen and poverty ? Just pray ? Lol.

We have some terrible igbo men and women who are ready to sell their brothers for food.
I will replace Igbo with Africans. After all Africans sold their people into slavery ; meanwhile in the western Nigeria they are mining for human skulls and human body parts ; in northern Nigeria , they are killing thousands of their people in the name of primitive stone age religion. Every tribe has their own vice.

PoliticsWhy The Nigerian Army Should Think Twice Before Invading The South East by GodHatesBigots(op): 9:33pm On Apr 18, 2021
Our brothers and sisters in the Nigerian army - listen to this prophecy and advice.

If you invade the South East and commit atrocities as you are apt to do, this is what will happen to your own land and people :

1. Your own ancestral lands will fall to terrorists and bandits
2. Your women will experience the same fate that our own women have suffered at the hands of your soldiers
3. Foreigners will inhabit your towns and villages and your people will become refugees in another man’s land.
4. Your land will become a desert, a wasteland, a land of hunger and total impoverishment.
5. Then you will be soundly defeated by people defending their land from Fulani Herdsmen terrorists.

Be careful what you wish for. Don't come to the South East to commit crimes - we can flush out the Fulani terrorists ourselves and deal them a powerful and final blow.

We wish you victory in your fight against Jihadists and terrorists. Let’s keep it that way.

Thanks,

I have been watching this man called Mazi Nnamdi kanu for sometimes now and I have come to the conclusion that he is a frustrated individual who wants to drag many along with him on the path of destruction.
Why do I say this, he was born with a silver spoon, sent abroad to study like his other mates and suddenly he is a freedom fighter.

He hasn't lived here and he wants to teach us a lesson about freedom. I have schooled here and worked here, thank God today I have a building and a family. I dont know where the marginalization is coming from. Nigeria is like anyother capitalist country in the world where it is survival of the fittest.

If you work hard and build a rich network of friends you can succeed. Mind you, you have to push to get in the circle pf those who know. You cant sit back and wallow in pain and blame everybody.

If at all anybody is to blame it is ourselves, we resent ourselves so much that I wonder if he is not pursuing a selfish agenda.

Blame your governors who cant come together and make the East a paradise, blame your people for not working together as one for not toving free providing you a good education and transport network, a good health system.
Gather your super rich men let them invest in the East, it is after doing this that you. our eastern leaders cant reason together as one how can you tell me they will function well in one country.

Let the igbos be patriotic about their own, dont blame anybody if you fail but yourselves.

Politically, the igbos cannot form a formidable party they can call their own let them take all the eastern states and show that they hold their own then they can attractive to patronize for presidency. You dont expect an outsider to like you any more than you like yourself.
Nobody is marginalizing anybody here. If it exist look inwards and you will find the answers.

Good leaders come and they go just as bad leaders too.
So go hold your own people accountable first. It is after doing this that we will follow you.
1. What if the governors refuse to be held accountable and suppress their people with violence ?

2. Secondly, what do you do when you farmlands are invaded and innocent farmers killed , while the so called governors do nothing about it?

3. Do you really think rich people will invest in a country with erratic power supply, national plague of kidnapping and banditry and a political system setup to disadvantage the common man?

Let's have a constructive debate...

Oga, this is not a camping trip. People in the city don't know what villagers are going tru. They think that by covering up the activities of herdsmen they would achieve utopian peace. When herdsmen backed by army successfully rout out villagers, they will come for you in the city. When your food supply is controlled by herdsmen, then you will know that the millions you earn in the city is a waste
Camping trip ?

There is a difference between camping for fun and camping for defence. Example of a forest ranger below ;

PoliticsA Better Approach To Curbing The Menace Of Herdsmen In Igbo Land. by GodHatesBigots(op): 11:59am On Apr 18, 2021
In my opinion , we are addressing the current Fulani Herdsmen crisis with low technology and risking the death of more innocent people. There is also no unity between the leaders and communities which means all efforts like Ebube Agu are going to be in vain. The ESN approach is going to attract more violence and recrimination on the villagers who dwell in those communities. I support ESN of course, but we need to rethink better ways of protecting our people. As the adage goes ' half a bread is better than none'.

This is my suggest to the Igbo leaders and communities.
1. Unity of purpose or all else fails. We need leaders who have the interest of Ndi Igbo at heart.
2. Allegiance to the cause of Ndi Igbo and not Ndi Fulani
3. Do not touch, attack or threaten any Hausa or Fulani man, woman or child who has lived among you and in your communities for decades.
4. A more technologically driven and well equipped approach to maintaining security in our forests , farm lands and villages.

Please take some time to read my recommendations and let me know your opinion. This will need investment from us in diaspora and leaders back home. When you complete the review let me know your feedback/opinion - thanks.

1. Armed Vigilantes who are well paid - minimum 50k per month salary. The vigilantes will work in rotating shifts , camping in the hot spot forest areas

2. Camping gear for temporary residence in the forests;
