There is a fact that Nnamdi Kanu does not have 100% control of IPOB, i noticed that during the unknown gunmen violence and massacre of police and military men, reason his Nnamdi kanu was suprised that his speech could make some of his members who are armed robbers, cultists and kidnappers to carry their guns to kill police and military men. To stay relevant he had to support them.

The future of IPOB is bleak, since Nnamdi kanu does not have control over their members attacking police and military men and installations, there is a very big chance that these IPOB terrorists will split up into hardliners and moderates, what i meant is that it will split up into those that want further violence and those that want no violence, i sincerely believe that Nnamdi Kanu will go with those that do not want further violence because of his location, he will like to be a freeman.

The camp of those that want violence will end up destroying what ever is left of IPOB, they will terrorise the south east with violence relating to bank robbery, killing of innocent citizens, robbing of traders to the extent that the self Sabotage will be massive, other splinter groups will also come out from the moderate group, they will destroy Nnamdi kanu already destroyed reputation, expose the fraud he is and make him irrelevant.

THE Movement for Actualisation of the Sovereign State of Biafra has accused the Federal Government of sponsoring recent attacks on South-East

MASSOB leader, Uchenna Madu, said this in a statement made available to journalists in Awka, the Anambra State capital.

He said MASSOB’s intelligence showed that the attacks were perpetrated by “protected bandits” sponsored by the Federal Government.

Madu added that the purpose was to create a situation that pro-Biafra agitators had become violent and therefore, should be chastised.

The statement read in part, “The leadership of the Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra has condemned the incessant criminal terrorism and security deterioration in Igboland.

“MASSOB condemned the terrorist attack on Chukwuma Soludo at Isuofia; we equally condemned the unwarranted killings of Ebonyi State indigenous citizens by Fulani terrorist herdsmen. MASSOB condemned in totality the breaking of Owerri prison by the so-called unknown gunmen.

“How can untrained and amateurs with no military training overpower the entire security apparatus of Nigeria in the South-East? Why is it that there was no security resistance during the breaking of Owerri Prisons and Imo State Police headquarters in an operation that lasted more than one hour?

Angry residents of Umuawom village, Ihodimeze community in Ikeduru council area of Imo State on Wednesday set ablaze a fleeing prisoner, who returned home from the Owerri Correctional Centre.

The fleeing prisoner, whose identify could not be ascertained as at press time, was said to have hailed from the nearby Ogwa community in Mbaitoli LGA of Imo State but grew up in Umuawom village, which is his maternal home.

He was said to have been involved in a kidnap activity that involved one of the families in Umuawom village but was eventually apprehended and remanded in custody for over one year.

However, when he escaped from the Correctional Centre last Monday, he was said to have gone straight to one of the families that testified against him and threatened to deal with them.

It was gathered he attempted to carry out his threat by attacking a member of the family in Umuawom village with a gun.

Village sources told The Nation that daring move prompted villagers to pounce on the invader and immediately set him ablaze.

Spokesman of the Police Command, Orlando Ikeokwu, said he had heard about the incident but could not officially confirm it.

Nigerian soldier of 145 Battalion in Damasak, Maiduguri, Borno State has resigned over alleged starvation and maltreatment by the commanding officer, a military source said.

The source told SaharaReporters that the soldier angrily dropped his rifle on Tuesday and quit the job due to the hardship faced by soldiers on the front.

He said, “Today, a soldier dropped his rifle and quit the job due to frustration plus the hardship we are facing here.”

He had earlier told SaharaReporters that the commander of the battalion, Lieutenant Colonel SA Ochalla, starved him and his colleagues for four days straight without offering an explanation.

The soldier said the soldiers, who were fighting insurgents regardless of the situation, were aggrieved as their two months’ cigarette allowance had not yet been paid.

He said, “We the soldiers of 145 Battalion at Damasak, Maiduguri are dying of hunger. Our commanding officer, Lieutenant Colonel SA Ochala, refused to feed us for four days now. He has also refused to give us our money for March and April cigarette allowance; the world should come to our aid.

“We haven't seen water to drink since morning, plus we have not had food for four days now. We have to fight regardless because our life comes first even before food. We are still combating insurgents even in this condition.

“This is the Nigerian system for you, everything is so corrupt. But the corruption is more pronounced in the Nigerian Army. I have been in the Nigerian Army for more than five years now and I think I can tell you this. Imagine, we are on deployment into the bush and we have not been fed yet. Our commanding officer gave no explanation for this. He has not held any meeting with anyone regarding this issue. We are starving, please help us.”

Nigerian soldiers have complained that they are outgunned by Boko Haram and that they are often sent into battle without adequate supplies.
