Oga Gazzuzz, Happy Sunday! Just going through your thread, Always dishing out helpful tips and resolutions. Unfortunately, your workshop is a bit far from our area here at Alimosho, do you have any sister workshop around Alimosho that you can recommend for us, for those who can not DIY. Appreciate if there is any good workshop around us here, I am tired of this trial and error road side mechanics. |
Good afternoon Nairalander DIYers. Please, I need the expertise of the experts in the house. I have two arrays of panels properly matched to two Fangpusun CCs FM60 & FM80. Both arrays are separated to its own CC and both are connected to same battery bank of 48V 200AH (4 X 200AH AGM Battery). The system is intended to charge the battery for the night backup while the bulk of the installation is going to be used up during the day, the array is over sized for the battery bank. My challenge is how to setup the charge controllers considering that the two CC are rated differently as 80A and 60A. I will appreciate enlightenment about which settings I have to set up on the charge controllers, I will like the two CC to share the loads. The battery information is as follows; AGM Deep Cycle Model: MML12 – 200 Rating: 12V, 200AH Charge at 25oC (constant Voltage) Float: 13.6 – 13.8V, Cycle: 14.4 – 15.0V Initial Charging current less than 60A |
Oga Gazzuzz, Thanks for your prompt response. I have read a lot of good and bad about Acura models older than 2014, but not so much about this third generation, one thing that is getting me worried is that I am pretty sure the parts will be costly. I have read about changing the timing belts as at when due, infact this is the first time I am hearing this, I didn't even know the timing belt has to be changed at specific period, advised must always use the OEM (Honda / Acura) branded oils and some said it does not do very well in MPG due to the type of petrol we have in country. Just wanted us to rub mind as all the discuss will help to uphold me fears or dismiss the fear about this SUV. It is intended for daily light use. GAZZUZZ: |
Gazzuzz, good afternoon. Please, I do like to seek your opinion and that of others on 2014 Acura MDX on the durability, maintenance, parts availability and cost etc. I appreciate all information to help me in my decision. THanks |

Whats the average price for Toyota Highlander 2011 clean title, low mileage on Manheim / Adesa Auto Auction currently. |
If your price is actually competitive, drop your price, we dont need to call before you will tell us your price, learn from Zeestone, JUO & others. This is becoming serious in Nigeria, every items has a fair price, but when you enters a shop, you are offered a very high ridiculous price and when you ask for the final price they will always ask "how much do you want to pay" if you dont have previous idea of the retail price, you will be reaped off. I am not saying the OPs wants to reap off but should make it transparent. justcallmenuel: |

House, Good evening. I have been thinking over 3-phase solar power system to power a mixed load of 10KW (5.5KW 3phase load and 4.5KW single phase load) between 7:30am - 6:30pm, from my findings most 3-phase setup requires a priming voltage for the unit to work, meaning I need to have another power source to get the 3-phase system working which looks like most 3-phase inverters are designed while considering develop nations with constant power supply. Also, most solutions requires combining 3 inverter units to achieve the 3-phase power which makes the cost of procurement / installation to be on the high side to achieve. Just wondering if there could be solutions without the need of battery to considerably bring down the cost drastically. Is there any 3-phase Inverter system solution that does not require 3 individual Inverter units to achieve and does not need another power source to work or without the need for battery since the loading will be basically during the day. Appreciate knowledge from the experienced elders of the forum with economical solutions that meets this mixed loads and is reliable. |
