A show promoter based in Barcelona, Oluwatosin Oketumo, fondly known as T-Cash, is currently living in fear simply because a show which was supposed to feature Olamide flopped.

According to the show promoter, he contacted Olamide through his tour manager, Alex Ozone and they had an agreement of €8,500 to have the artiste perform at the event. Although he was unable to cough out the whole amount, T-Cash told Saturday Beats that he gave Olamide’s camp €4,000 but despite paying the money Olamide did not show up for the performance. Now people are posting his picture with the caption RIP.

He admitted that although he did not meet up with the terms and conditions of the contract, he ought to be refunded since the singer did not register his presence at the event.

He said, “The name of my outfit is T-Cash International Promotion and I am based in Barcelona. I had a deal of €8,500 with O3 Media, Alex Ozone who is Olamide’s tour manager but I was unable to meet up with the whole money as of the time of the event. The initial agreement was that I was going to pay for the flight ticket and hotel reservation of five people from Prague, the Czech Republic to Barcelona, at the end of the day, I was told to add two more people to the list making it a total of seven people. I did not object. They were supposed to arrive on Friday but I booked the ticket a day before so that we could have a massive publicity for the show. At the end of the day, the turnout was not as massive as I expected but I was able to gather €3,000. With that money, I went to the hotel to talk to Ozone to plead with him to have €3,000 and I promised I would give them the full payment after the show. At the end of the day, they collected €3,000 plus the €1,000 I had given them earlier. After I had begged, he said that he went to talk to Olamide and the singer said that he would not perform if his fee was not complete, and that’s how everything went wrong and they left Barcelona.

“Olamide was in his room and they did not allow me to talk to him. By the time I went to the venue to talk to the crowd, people had scattered everywhere and before I got back to the hotel, they had already taken a cab to the airport and travelled to Germany. I have been trying to reach them but they are not saying anything and people have begun to rubbish my name. Some people have been saying that they paid me and I absconded with their money but it is a lie. No one contributed a dime for me to stage this show. It was just me and three of my friends that came together to make it happen.

“Now I am trying to reach them to ask for my €4,000, even though I know I may not get the refund for the tickets I bought. Right now, I am facing a lot in Barcelona just because Olamide did not perform as I promised. Many people are writing nasty things about me with some posting my picture and writing Rest In Peace on it. My life is in danger as I am being threatened constantly. I am facing a lot right now just because of the show and it is also spoiling my business. I contacted Olamide through Ozone because he is his tour manager. I am not thinking of taking legal action but I just want them to return my money and I would know how to sort the mess out,” he said.

When Saturday Beats reached out to Olamide’s tour manager, Ozone, he simply said that they had a deal but T-cash did not meet up his end of the bargain. “Did he tell you we had a contract prior to the concert?” Ozone queried. “He didn’t meet up, that’s why I didn’t allow Olamide to perform. So how would I have got the balance? He didn’t pay as agreed, so we had to leave. The contract stated that he would pay €8,500 and provide flights and accommodation for five people.

“I have a right to sue him for breach of our contract. The dude made me lose €5,000 for that show. He did a live video on his Facebook page where he even apologised for using me,” Ozone said.

Head of house, Tobi, has revealed that everything he ever wanted from Cee-C, he has gotten.

He made this known while speaking with fellow housemate, Miracle on Wednesday night.

According to Tobi, the first weeks in the house were used by him to study Cee-C.

In his words;

“I have gotten all I needed from Cee-c. She has shown me all I needed to see and I no longer have anything to do with her, I’m telling you the truth. “In the first two weeks of our stay here, I love her genuinely. Big Brother Naija 2018 3rd time head of house, Tobi shocked many when he put up his former pair and love interest ,Cee C for eviction .

Cee C and Lolu who had earlier escaped eviction only for Tobi the new head of house to choose Bamco (Bam Bam and Rico) over Ceelo were equally left in dismay.

Lastnight, Cee C and Tobi got to talk after the nomination and he apologised for nominating her.

He said it was very difficult for him but he had to do it because of his principles .

He mentioned what he heard from Angel to be the reason for nominating her.

He said that ,Cee C vowed to report him(Tobi) to Big brother,if he comes close to her .He said he didn’t need negative energy around him since she has even refused to talk to him.

Meanwhile Cee C said she would never understand why he is acting the way he is but holds no grudge against him and hopes they could move forward .She revealed ,there is nothing he can say to justify his actions.

A pregnant woman identified as Janet Oyewole from Osun state who had lost her memory after allegedly escaping from ritualists in Ogun State has re-united with her family.

According to an online report, all the lady could remember was that a car dropped her at a roundabout in Ado Odo area of Ogun state.

Facebook user Princess Akapo Temitope, who had shared photos of the lady beseeching the online community to help find her family, wrote;

‘Pls help this fortunate young pregnant lady,she was almost used by ritualist….we don’t really know how she managed to escape,she’s Janet Oyewole by name and she is from Osun state, that’s the little information we were able to get from her for now.pls save a soul today by sharing this post till it gets to her family members or someone who can get in touch with her parents.”


Three days after Facebook plea to the online community to help  find the family of the alleged ritualist victim, Temitope has again announced that Pregnant Janet Oyewole has now re-united with her family.

She wrote: “ Thank you Lord we have finally found Janet Oyewole’s family. She has been taken home hale and hearty by her family members”.

After being attended to by PSG medical staff, Neymar had to be stretchered off in the 82nd minute for immediate medical attention.

The injury comes at a particularly poor time for the French champions, and depending on its severity, could even damage Brazil’s World Cup preparations.

Jim Iyke has opened up on his brief stint as a musician ,admitting his songs were bad.

In a chat with Saturday Beats, Jim Iyke admitted that the songs he released in 2009 were bad songs but he ventured into the music industry to have an idea of how things work in the sector after dominating the movie scenes.

He said,

“My music career is non-existent. My mentor in business once told me that the biggest investment you can ever have is yourself; don’t ever go into a venture that you don’t understand. I was interested in music and like everything else that I have foresight for, I saw where the career was going. I knew I did not know how to sing but I wanted to invest in the business, so I decided to try my luck. I did it so that no one would ever tell me that I did not try or I do not know anything about music. It is just like fashion, I know everything about that sector; there is nothing I do not know about real estate as well. Since I was about 12 years old, I have known about real estate because my father is a construction engineer. To get money to buy a bicycle, I have carried blocks and supervised construction of a building.

He continued
“I wanted to invest in music but I needed a guinea pig. I could not use an artiste I hired because there would be a producer that would know that I did not know about the business; so I got involved personally. I sang a few bad songs, got a cheque for it and understood how the business works. I just used it to bid for some time. Of course, I knew the songs were bad; I am my greatest critic. I had to put some ‘swag’ into the songs that featured Tuface to sing one or two lines. To be honest, how many true talents are in the industry at the moment? Most of the less talented ones are getting far ahead of the talented ones. It is not about having talent but understanding the business and project what works for you. It is all about the way you ‘package’ it and sell it to the world; that is all. I can name a few terrible artistes but they are getting way ahead of the gifted ones. It is because they understand show business; I understand show business,” Iyke said.

Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike and Wife Justice Eberechi Suzzette Nyesom-Wike shared a passionate kiss on Friday night as he was enthroned as the Silverbird Man of the Year 2017, after majority of Nigerians overwhelmingly voted for him following his nomination by the management of Silverbird Group.


Presenting the Silverbird Man of the Year 2017 award to the Rivers State Governor at the Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos, Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar described Governor Wike as a worthy  leader who is laying the right foundation for the rapid development of the state.

He said:  prosperity of Rivers State and Nigeria. This is a remarkable achievement that I find difficult to locate in any part of the country.  I congratulate the people of Rivers State for having you as  a governor “.

The Former Vice President commended  Governor Wike for his efforts at connecting Opobo-Nkoro to the mainland, saying he was elated when the Rivers State Governor showed him  the road in the state’s  projects compendium.

Chairman of Silverbird Group, Senator Ben Murray-Bruce said the Rivers State Governor emerged the Silverbird Man of the Year on the strength of votes by the people.

“This award was voted by the people of Nigeria.  In other words, it was earned. I am honoured to know a man called Governor Wike. He is a terrific governor, Mr Projects”, he said.

Senator  Murray-Bruce said Governor Wike focuses on the development of the state through delivery of projects and programmes.

Responding, Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike assured Rivers people that he remains committed  to the  development of the state.

He said: “My commitment is and has been to promote, defend and advance the best interest of our people and contribute to the progress of our state and nation.

“Today, I am very honoured to receive this award because it represents the very ideals that sustains my interest in public service”.

He said that his administration was inaugurated during a period of financial crisis, but he chose to be different, instead of giving all manner of excuses like the APC Federal Government .

“We refused to be daunted by the rot we inherited . Today, the testimonies are everywhere that Rivers State where we is working very well for our people “, he said.

Governor Wike dedicated the award to the people of Rivers State for their support and prayers.  He also dedicated the award to his wife, Justice Eberechi Suzzette Nyesom-Wike.

The governor said that the situation in Nigeria is precarious. He said that Nigerians have no choice but to work together in the interest of the nation.

The award also witnessed several other categories of the  award .

Former BBN2017 housemate and second runner-up at the Big Brother Naija show, Tboss, has revealed she has finally put what happened between herself and fellow ex housemate, Kemen behind her for the second time.


The star had in an interview with Media Room Hub addressed the inappropriate sexual behaviour, that saw Kemen disqualified from the reality show and revealed she’s forgiven him but it seems the forgiveness wasn’t whole as she disclosed in a new post that she has forgiven him again.

 

She told via her IG page that she forgave Kemen last Sunday after listening to a touching sermon on forgiveness as she shared a photo of them dressed in native.


She wrote  ” Throwback to last Sunday when we went to church and coincidentally listened to an amazing sermon on forgiveness. She began. To forgive is to release a prisoner ONLY to discover that the prisoner was You!
