The first enemy we need to deal with isn't the devil, it's the flesh. Many genuine Christians occasionally abandon the leading of the Holy Spirit and go after the suggestions of their carnal senses, simply because they haven't yet crucified their flesh. There are both immediate and eternal consequences attached! Like some brothers in the faith who have lived to regret choosing a partner because she had curves, and some sisters... because he had biceps. They choosing to ignore the leading of the Holy Spirit and making such decisions based on one of the five carnal senses (the physical eyes) is an indication of the presence of uncrucified flesh. We don't walk by sight! (2 Corinthians 5:7).

1 John 2:16 KJV
For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

Adam and Eve activated the flesh and died, we must deactivate it if we must live!

Galatians 5:24 KJV
And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.

The need to crucify the flesh can not be overemphasized. First of all, we need to be at peace with God. The flesh is...READ MORE HERE:

Grace and Peace to you. Today we're addressing how to overcome seduction, seeing it's one of the traps that has been set on the path of every true Christian, especially the young, single and devoted ones. I believe experience is a good teacher, so I am writing this basically from my experience. This isn't me preaching about myself or trying to look perfect in the eyes of the world. I believe there's need for every Christian to be as transparent as possible and have less of a 'secret life'. With that being said, I hope you're ready... now let's roll.

WHAT IS SEDUCTION?

Seduction from a Christian's point of view is a deliberate attempt to entice someone or enter into a relationship with them with the goal of corrupting and leading one astray from service to God and or relationship with God through sexual activities.

Mark the word "deliberate" because that's always the case.

WHO CAN GET SEDUCED?

Almost everyone (both Christians and non-Christians); cute people and...uhmm(no one is ugly anyway), presidents, Church leaders, business men and women, students, and the list goes on. Once or more in our lifetime, it's likely that someone will show up and attempt seducing us. Be it in the church, in the office, at school or just anywhere, seduction is bound to be attempted on us. And most times that happens unexpectedly.
When someone is bent on seducing us, they don't care about our looks, they just want to accomplish their mission. The enemy came to steal, to kill and destroy (John 10:10), not to look at whether you look cute or not. What he's after is making sure he does what he intends to do.

Some people carry this 'I am not handsome or beautiful enough' mindset, that's actually low self-esteem. They assume that with the way they are no one will get attracted to them, not to the extent of trying to seduce them. But that's not true, it only makes them vulnerable and susceptible to seduction attacks. Such are often caught off-guard, gullible. They tend to wake up late to the reality that someone is actually there trying to seduce them when it happens. READ MORE @ https://www.ibloggospel.com

PURITY AND POWER WITH GOD. WHY AND HOW DO THEY TALLY?

Those who have power with God are those who deny themselves the filthy pleasures and attractions of this world to desire God above everything else! When we let go of every worthless thing that once filled our lives, we give God more void in us for Him to fill.

Purity gives us power with God! Impure vessels are already filled with impurity, there's no longer void for God to fill and use them.

We cannot be a container of sin and at the same time a dispenser of God's Power. If we are ready to get purged, the LORD will take it upon Himself to purge, fill and use us!

2 Timothy 2:21 KJV
If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work.

Several factors contributed to the quantum of impact Apostle Paul made in the Early Church. One of them was his willingness to let go of every worldly and fleshly hindrance, to focus just on God alone! If we are willing to do same, the result will be... Religion / Re: What's Wrong In Dating Pls? by Godssword1(m): 10:13am On Mar 10, 2018
Having received tons of questions from Christian singles asking me whether it is right for Christians to practice what is popularly known as dating or not, I have decided to address this very topic on my blog today. Follow up and give your thoughts when you're done reading the piece.

I noticed that whenever the word 'dating' is mentioned in Christian circles, many views pop up from different angles, including those which do not line up with the Word and the desire of the Lord. The many diverse views on their own sow confusion among Christians. I know when it comes to such matters, we can't lay hands on plentiful scriptures to support our views, but we sure know that the Holy Spirit doesn't go against purity! We trust Him to leads us into all truth. Amen!

WHAT IS DATING?
Wikipedia defines dating as a stage of romantic relationships in humans whereby two people meet socially with the aim of each "assessing the other's suitability" as a prospective partner in an intimate relationship or marriage.

Notice that portion of the definition I put in quote. We don't need many definitions from different sources. This single definition tells it all.

One thing we must note is that dating is widely accepted and practised by the world. And the truth is that whatever the world welcomes with open arms often blend with its standards and goes against biblical standards. If it were against worldly standards, it wouldn't be popular. Dating is practised in almost all religions, sects and cults of Earth. Come to think of it, if it was godly, would it gain such popularity? I bet it wouldn't! The world and even many saints in the Church as turned the "assessing each others suitability" phrase to fornicating with each other and living with each other. I once heard a Christian lady say she has to first of all test whether her man is good in bed before she gets married to him. I don't know where that is written in the Word of God!

One deception the enemy has slipped into this generation is that they can get attracted to the opposite sex, fornicate and break up when they're done...READ MORE HERE: https://www.purityposts.com/2018/02/is-dating-for-christians.html
