Arsenal were good,that's not debatable and Arteta trusted players he used all through pre season. Maresca rushed back Anderson, Haaland, Doku, and Nico O'Reilly into the starting 11 despite only returning to training 5 days back and it showed. Anyways it doesn't change anything in the long run.

Arsenal just paid £85M for Bruno Guimaraes who turns 29 in 3 months time. Tottenham signed Van Hecke on his last year from Brighton for £52M. £70M is fair enough for a Balondor winner, World cup best player and Winner. I would rather keep him than even sell cause he has no replacement in the market.

No one is paying such amount for Enzo definitely not City. I actually like Enzo, he has that clutch gene like Gundogan and Rodri and he's not papper weight in midfield like Reijnders.

Maresca needs to sit down with Rodri and convince him to stay. He can leave for free next season after delivering the league or Champions league while mentoring Anderson and Bouaddi to take over. We have lost too much senior players in midfield.
