Today was his first league goal since January. He has been working on his finishing right from the club world cup and hopefully we get to see more goals from him.

Bernardo wouldn't consistently be a starter. Reijnders will start depending on how much we want to play in transition.

Pep has tried 4 different things in 4 different games this season. That's the excuse in my head. Its clear he's looking for something. The team will not have an identity till December 2025 into January 2026.

Bro how do you see our midfield and it's issue in holding onto possession and dominating games. The 2nd half was irritating and United could have scored at least 2 with better decision making. I know Rodrigo is not back to full fitness but Rejinders is not helping matters in that regard. I thought he was like Gundogan but he's not.

They are many potential world class talents in that list and that's why clubs have paid those big bulks.

Judging the various teams in the just concluded summer transfer market, I think Liverpool did outstandingly in the window.
They got good players that they actually need to boost their team and maintain stability and they are favourites to retain the title.

Arsenal on the other hand, did the most in the market. They actually bought players that they were in dire need of and for the first time, has a better chance of winning the title due to the perfect signings they made.

Manchester city will always be Manchester city but I feel they bought players that are personally good but not collectively known as regards teamwork. They bought players that don't necessarily fit their system if you look at the clubs these players were signed from. For a very long time, we haven't seen Man city being so clueless in games.

This is a bit premature as we are just 3 games into the season for a team with little to no pre season games for preparation. The new players we brought in will definitely elevate us once they get use to the system and their fellow players. We can already see how Rodrigo return has stabilized our midfield. Cherki, Donnaruma, Foden, Guardial etc are yet to even get going. I repeat no team will be able to compete with city for the league title once we are in full gear and in top shape. Not Liverpool, Arsenal and definitely not Chelsea who haven't won a league title or finished top 2 in over 7years.

What's your take on City interest in Rodrigo if Savinho is sold for £70million. I don't rate him that highly and with such big fee plus wages he will demand to start every game. I really want to see more of Cherki, Marmoush, Bobb and Foden. I would rather keep Savinho who is clearly talented but needs room to improve. Savinho only season in la Liga at 19 he had 19 goals and assists. Rodrygo's best season is 17.

When a player is said to have Bleep goal contributions for the season, it simply means his total goals and assists for the season.

Most goals have 2 contributors - the scorer and assister.

If all those PSG 7 goals in contention have assiters, then it's a total of 14 goal contributions. Dembele's 3 assists is 3 goal contributions out of the 14. If, for example, Kvara scored 2 goals and 1 assist, it's another 3 goal contributions etc etc..

It’s surprising how much the Club World Cup has elevated Chelsea and Marescas standing. I don’t see them anywhere near a title race. They will be lucky to finish top 4.
